This is kind of a smallish Petsmart, but it's only a few minutes away from where I live, so it's convenient to go to pick up a few items. Overall the selection is pretty decent, although the clothing section really could use more warm weather clothing in winter. I was able to find maybe one sweater for my dog, which really didn't fit anyway. Other than that, they are pretty ok, toy and food wise. Like I said, I come here because it's close by.

He said, "no, we don't, he's not our insane son." We were heading home from somewhere and stopped at the one in Stamford on West Avenue and bought a frog -- and the cashier double-charged us. My husband pointed this out and the cashier immediately got angry and told him not to tell him how to tell him to do his job. All we wanted was a refund for the extra charge, as we purchased one frog. He forced my husband to sign up for their 7,000 emails, which are endless spam, and kept insisting it was two frogs. When my husband said, "use your eyes" - he said, "I KNOW YOU, YOU CAUSED A RUCKUS IN HERE" -- which was interesting, as we'd never BEEN in that store before -- and it was just a nightmare. It seems all PetSmarts are busy employing some of the dumbest, meanest, and strangest people on earth -- who do not know how to treat customers properly, but also, always seem to be hiring (no shock there) but do not seem willing to hire competent people. No more PetSmart.

But to the untrained eye they look like just any ole puppy. The majority of the puppies had explosive watery diarrhea. Open your eyes people. Even if it stays "where they are from" doesn't mean ANYTHING!! I asked where they came from and they pointed to a index card on the side. It literally just said some state from the south. RED FLAG PEOPLEEEE!! I then said... so a puppy mill? They rolled their eyes and gave me a speech. I'm guessing they give this speech multiple times a day... after that they did not offer me any service!! Buy from a responsible breeder. No high quality breeder in their right mind would ship their puppies off to some pet store and settle for a percentage. REAL breeders put their blood sweat and tears into the dogs they breed and puppies they produce. The puppies here might have an "address" but I guarantee if you ask who the parents were of the specific dog they couldn't answer that question or give you a business card of the breeder they are from!

This was the closest place that carried what I wanted, and I have been shopping here ever since. I have since learned that I could order the food easily directly from one of several sites, but I love the staff so much, that I would feel like I was missing out if I did not stop in monthly to see what new research had come out.
