I can tell that every one of their staff care about their patients and they do their best to not just provide treatment, but also make you feel welcomed, respected, and taken care of. It was a 11/10 experience. And that extra 1 comes from numbing my skin before they inject the IV fluid for sedation. I texted Dr. Dobee and sent photos despite it being late on a Friday night, and she responded right away. Shortly after, Dinesh, the office manager, contacted us and scheduled my boyfriend to be seen first thing Saturday morning. From the moment we walked in, every person treated us like family. We were seen by Dr. Hawari, who I have also been a patient of and have always known for his incredible restorative dental abilities and attention to detail. He immediately came across as compassionate and reassuring and focused on helping us move forward rather than sitting in guilt and stress over the situation. He took X-rays, examined the tooth carefully, consulted with us, and explained our options every step of the way. He initially performed a composite build-up on the front tooth and honestly it looked incredible -- you would never have known there had been an accident. What stood out most was his honesty and attention to detail. Rather than simply continuing treatment, he noticed there could potentially be a root fracture and immediately shifted directions because he wanted to make sure the treatment plan was right. He coordinated care with Dr. Frankie, who specializes in same-day implants. When we met Dr. Frankie, one of the first things that stood out was how down-to-earth, understanding, and empathetic he was. He immediately made my boyfriend feel comfortable during what was already a stressful situation. One thing he said really stayed with me: he would never do anything to my boyfriend that he wouldn't do for his own mother or family. I found that incredibly commendable because it showed genuine care and integrity. It truly felt like everyone involved was thinking outside the box and trying to determine what was best for my boyfriend and, most importantly, trying to save his natural tooth if possible. After further evaluation, Dr. Frankie consulted with Dr. AC. What happened next honestly amazed us. Dr. AC had already completed a full day but still stayed late unexpectedly, reviewed the imaging, discussed options with the team, and continued his evening until almost 10 PM helping my boyfriend. He and his assistant prepared the room, performed a successful root canal, and everyone worked together to create the best possible treatment plan. We later went to Micro Dental Lab in Livermore for color matching, and even there we experienced the same kindness. As soon as we mentioned Dr. Dobee's name they immediately knew who she was. We were treated with such warmth and even given a tour of the facility near the end of their shift, which was incredibly thoughtful. Immediately after scheduling the appointment, they sent me a link which allowed me to complete all the paperwork online before the appointment. This was a huge help, since I had to complete them on my mom's behalf. I was also able to upload her insurance cards through their online portal, so once we arrived at their office, we didn't have to do anything except focus on the appointment. The staff was very friendly, and very attentive and patient (haha) with my mom, waiting while I repeated everything so my hard of hearing mom could understand. Dr. Yen is the type of doctor who instills confidence and makes you feel like you are in good hands. He explained everything clearly, allowed ample time for questions, and was very caring. At my mom's age, getting her anywhere is a big ordeal, so I appreciated Dr. Yen's willingness to do the surgery immediately after the consultation, saving me from having to bring her back. Hanh was the dental assistant, and she saw my mom was nervous so kept reassuring her. Hanh, Dr. Yen, and everyone else on staff was just wonderful. In other words, I could tell that they were making the effort to do what's best for the patient. After my surgery (which went smoothly), I had some pain for the next 10 days, but I was able to suppress it with the painkillers Dr. Tso prescribed and Advil. No complications for me. Somewhere between the 10 days, I got two phone calls from the staff asking how I was doing. They also had me go back a week later to make sure that I was recovering as expected. This goes to show that they care about the patients - before, during and after the procedures. I can sort of see why other people would give Dr. Tso negative reviews about his attitude - he was kind of in a hurry when it comes to answering questions. Regardless, Dr. Tso really does know what he is doing. Overall, I had a satisfactory experience with Dr. Tso. Although I don't plan on going back since I don't have anymore teeth for him to extract, I would recommend him.
