After a serendipitous encounter with Christine for her guided restorative yoga at RAMAC Park many months ago, I have since rekindled my love for yoga and picked up meditation as well. I can honestly say that Christine's gracious, humble and inspirational spirit along with the health and wellness knowledge she shares has changed the projection of my health and wellness journey for the better. On days when I feel like skipping my practice but I join Christine for yoga I ALWAYS feel better. It's as if she knows exactly what my body and mind need out of a yoga session and she always delivers. I also love the extra touches she incorporates into her yoga classes such as offering essential oils, gentle adjustments or thought provoking readings. Christine also frequently hosts health "challenges" like daily smoothie or spring cleanse weeks that are super helpful for realigning mindfulness toward eating habits. Another thing I love is that she is very current with her knowledge as she is continually educating herself about health, wellness and yoga at retreats and seminars. But above all else, Christine is such a kind compassionate person. She is a joy to be around and so easy to talk to and connect with. If you are looking for a wonderful yoga instructor (who's more than a yoga instructor) or have thought of trying out yoga but we're too nervous Christine is the gal for you. She specializes is restorative yoga which is great for my crazy, stressed lifestyle to wind down and be mindful. Love all the props she uses to help release all the tension I store in my lower back. I have been working with Christine for the past 6 months as one of her life coach students and our experience together has been so instrumental to my growth. During our intake session, she was very thorough in understanding my wants and needs and how these could be transmuted into intention setting for our collective work together. I cannot say enough great things about Christine, both as a person, and as a Yoga Teacher. Christine is positive, energetic, wise, and an overall inspiration. I had a restorative session with Christine, and immediately felt relaxed and destressed. She creates a calming environment, and I felt less stressed immediately. I love love love Christine's Classes!!!!!! She always brings the peacefulness and calm to my yoga practices. The essential oils used in classes is a big plus to me because it eases my nerve, helps me even relaxing more, and enhances the meditation path. Sometimes, she gives a brief head/shoulder massage to students at the end of classes making it a wonderful experience to those who have been practicing yoga for a while like me. I always learn something new about yoga and meditation while practicing with Christine. I learn how to let things go, listen to my body, and focus on myself after a long day working and taking care of my family. Christine also holds several workshops that helps to educate new students on practicing yoga and guide the continuing students to explore deeper into each types of yoga practicing and meditation on the weekend. I attended a Vinyasa Alignment and Restorative Yoga workshop with Christine @choosingyouwellness and Jovanna @Vidalifestyle, their #fromDarknesstoLight Workshop. I was invited and saw the flyer through their Instagram, I flew from Los Angeles for the event. If you are in San Jose area, I would suggest you attend either of their classes or one of their pop up events. They're a great team to work with and afterwards you feel rejuvenated like an after massage feeling. I went during a stressful time, we talked, did yoga, relaxed, checked in again, and fellowshipped afterwards. They both equally touch your soul in a way that is unforgettable. You will thoroughly enjoy yourself and wished you lived closer to attend more of their events. They love what they do and love to reach people and bring people to their full loving life to the fullest potentials. I don't do yoga very often, but with the quick stretch and fast repetitive movements to end with the deep breathing and reflective end, it's the perfect match of yoga. I wish the ladies a beautiful and bountiful 2018 with success in love, careers, and continue to help others find their zen. I will be back for another event!
