Service was over the top! The lady working the drive-thru on Saturday night was so kind. She had the kitchen staff start our order earlier than our pick-up time, as we were arriving early from out of town. When she saw we had dogs, she offered us pup cups, which were devoured (by our two dogs). We had the spring rolls, steak fried rice, and orange sriracha chicken fried rice. The meals were generous portions and I slept very well that night, thanks to a nice dinner. I'm not sure the order I received was the orange chicken or the SRIRACHA orange chicken, but either way I enjoyed it (my chicken didn't taste spicy to me, but my taste buds are always struggling for more spice). The veggies were way better than I expected and not from frozen ingredients, that I could tell. This place has above a 4.5 star rating on Google so not sure why the Yelp rating is so low. Too much rice, not enough meat. They stack the meat (say beef and shrimp) on the top, making it look like you're getting a lot and then reality sets in when you dig in when 3/4 of the container is rice. Pricey. read more

I ordered chopapillas. When I received them I noticed they were filled with cream cheese. I tried to explain to the female in the picture that I don't eat cream cheese due to a dairy allergy. This location has always been good! But last night, I ordered three 2 meat combos with steak...and the steak was WEIRD. The pieces were much smaller than usual and even smelled different. It wasn't steak...we think it was maybe skirt steak or even roast!!?? And bc it was not steak, it was very salty compared to how it usually tastes. CHOP CHOP... Some people May like this food and I will not say that it is bad it is just not what I was expecting. I assumed that I was going to be eating Asian food but what I had was Asian inspired. I've never had Asian food like this. The best way I know to describe would be if this white boy right here decided to cook Asian food. I would just grill a steak ( a cheap one) with a bit of salt and then cook up so uncle bens rice and then put it all together. I don't think adding a protein to rice makes it Asian. The chicken was the same way. It wasn't bad it was just not Asian food. Lots of better places to go. It was like Taco Bell is to Mexican food but not as good or cheap. I ordered the orange chicken at the drive thru at 5:59 pm on a Friday. The chicken was tough and dry, and it tasted like it was made the day before or had sat under a heat lamp too long. When I called and asked to speak to a manager, Miguel insisted everything was always made fresh. He offered to deliver another order to me, I said okay, then was put on hold. A woman then answered and also insisted that my food was made fresh. The chicken was breaded and then cooked. There is no way it could have been made fresh from the time I ordered it to the time I reached the window. The vegetables possibly were made fresh; they tasted alright. I usually order wontons at Chop Chop; they're always perfect at the Coulter location, but I have received underdone wontons before at the Wolflin location. I guess I will just wait until I am near the Coulter location to spend my money. I would not have bothered to post on Yelp if I had not been treated so badly when I called. Don't go to this location! This place is just okay. Tried it out after traveling through Texas and wasn't left with many options at 9 o'clock at night. When I ordered the staff was very friendly and polite. I got chicken teriyaki fried rice with pineapples and spring rolls. It was brought to my table quickly and it looked good. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside and mushy in the middle. I'm guessing they're prepackaged frozen ones that they nuked in the microwave. Also, I wouldn't really call what they served fried rice though. Lima beans and corn aren't typically found in fried rice, but it didn't taste terrible, just odd. The rice tasted like something you'd get from a box, not the jasmine or sushi rice you get with traditional Chinese dishes, and there wasn't more than 2 or 3 ounces of chicken with the pineapples. It definitely wasn't worth the amount I got charged. Overall, nice staff and clean interior but not somewhere I'd visit again. Skip this place and head to Panda Express if you have the option. Their teriyaki chicken and fried rice is a better deal. read more

I almost never write reviews, but after I took a couple bites of my food I noticed a long shinny piece of metal sticking out of the meal! Thank god I noticed this before I gave my child some. I have never found something like this in any food before. I don't even know what it is. And even if I didn't find this metal in my food it was still horrible. Good Oriental Food The four previous restaurants at this location have failed. Hope this one does better. Located on a local street close to the freeway. Bigger than it looks from the outside. We went for an early dinner but it was fairly busy for a Thursday evening. Atmosphere is casual. We ordered at the counter paid for the food and found a table. Staff was friendly and courteous. This is an oriental restaurant. We shared the Signature Chicken Regular $9. The shared portions were large enough for each of us. Dinner was tasty and we would order again. Yes, even with the pineapple chunks included it was still so flavorless. It lacked some seasoning or spice. Totally disappointed as this was my first time ordering from here. Also ordered the beef broth or soup. Suppose to come with mushrooms and green onions in it and that was so pitiful. Good flavor, but lacking greatly on those two things just mentioned. Seems like Chop Chop has let it go. We ordered again tonight after the last time which was a little off. The time of delivery was right but the address was wrong. We got the previously delivered wrong meal after an exchange with the delivery driver, have the meat was in the bottom of the bag and the rest was cold. Great service, decent food, good prices. Did I mention great service? The folks that work there are very friendly and responsive. The menu allows you to customize your own Asian meal with choices of protein and rice along with egg rolls, spring rolls, and miso soup. It's an American twist on Asian food, to be sure.
