We ordered and enjoyed: Tempura crab appetizer, Pho with shrimp, Wok-cooked Broccoli shrimp, and two hot teas, oolong and Jasmine. All items well seasoned and we added only a touch of soy sauce. The service was extremely slow. We ordered 3 flank pho bowls and the Mongolian kids plate, as it is the only kids item available. They brought us the pho bowls after about 20 minutes. No kids plate. Another 15 minutes passes, no kids plate. At this point I had already been feeding my child my soup. At almost 20 minutes later they finally bring out the kids plate. There were no waffle fries like it stated. Instead they were small mushy seasoned fries? Sitting in oil. It was extremely unappetizing. The Mongolian name didn't reflect the dish as it was just dry chicken pieces in oil. We sent it back as it wasn't edible. The pho was "okay" lacked in flavor and came with no garnishment. When I asked where the garnishments were she asked like what? I said the mint, bean sprouts, lemon. She said the bean sprouts were already added in and was unwilling to bring more. The few times I've been here, I ordered Pho with filet mignon in it and it was delicious! However, the third and last visit, I was seated facing the kitchen where you can see them make the Pho. It's a matter of assembling really as they have the broth ready etc. but the noodles and vegetables that were placed on my plate was handled with their bare hands. I asked the server if they wearing gloves and I just couldn't see it clearly from where I was at. The response was it's ok because it was cold items being touched. I said to cancel my order and left. Bad service, questionable food. Got the poke bowl, one tiny scoop of rice, tiny slices of ahi and yellow tail. And the fish wasn't fresh. The iced tea and water tasted like soap. I returned the ice tea after 2 sips and said it was undrinkable. Waitress charged me for it anyway and said she couldn't remove the charge. The manager removed the charge but was not friendly about it. To boot, we had separate checks and they criss-crossed the charges. And I repeat, the fish was old and not fresh, the waitress was not customer friendly, and the manager was just slightly better. Do not go here. High prices, small portions. I do not mind paying higher price for food, but the portions need to be commensurate with pricing. read more

It's a lovely surprise that was just a few steps from where we were staying. We haven't had pho in a while, so it sounded like just what we needed on a chilly evening. We ordered the chicken pho and the brisket pho. AMAZING. The soups were both hot and they packed everything so nicely! I'd give the chili flake sauce an extra bonus star because it was something new and tasty to blend into our soups. The meal brought out to me what not what I ordered. I mentioned this to the waitress who then proceeded to go to the kitchen and inquire. I ordered The Monk Plate which is listed on the menu as fried tofu with mixed vegetables in dark sauce. I received a plate of steamed vegetables with no flavor nor dark sauce. The waitress returned to the table to tell me the chef said it was cooked in the dark sauce. My husband and I just stared at it. We both took another bite in front of her and said nope, no sauce. She once again said the the chef said it had dark sauce on it. Not one thing was done further to make my meal closer to what I ordered. I added some soy sauce to it and found hoisin sauce from another table to help make it have flavor. I ate a little of the rice and the fried tofu. The vegetable tasted like steamed veggies, the soy sauce mixture I attempted just ran off of the vegetables. As we were leaving I told the front area guy that I was disappointed in my meal. He said oh, sorry. He then asked for the full payment and told us " thanks for coming". We are just passing through Amarillo for a couple of days. I would never eat here again and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone that would like to enjoy what they ordered or have some good waitstaff/managers! read more

You've got to try LemonGrass Sushi. The prices are very reasonable. We got several different rolls and were not disappointed. The crab ragoons though, they were very nice looking but didn't really have any cream cheese inside so I was a little disappointed there. Also they don't have monkey balls which is my favorite one. They have a challenge where if you eat a bowl that has 50 Oz of meat and 2 qts of broth you'll get the whole thing for free! It's a huge bowl, so if you're on that level, definitely go and try it!! read more

My group dined at this place on the way back to Houston and were wanting Asian food. We ordered the summer rolls, tempura crab, lettuce chicken wrap, and ahi tuna for appetizers, and pho shrimp & brisket, shrimp fried rice, and broccoli beef as entrees. The food is mediocre and needs improvement; the quality and size didn't justify the price. First the wok dishes were small and pricey. The tempura crab was definitely a let down. We were expecting at least real crab meat, instead we got fake crab sticks in fried batter with sauce - definitely not worth the price. I'm Vietnamese and I can attest that the pho was lackluster with very little meat, and the broth was not flavorful at all. Severely disappointed for a restaurant listed as Vietnamese on Google. Broccoli beef was wayyyyy to saucy and salty. The lettuce chicken wrap as well. Both tje broccoli beef and lettuce chicken wrap tasted the same: the sauce was wayyy to oily and salty; the two sauces don't really stand apart from each other, tasted just like cooked soy sauce. Only the ahi tuna was okay. Our server was nice, attentive, and polite though. read more

Just So So This is a small local restaurant located in a strip mall about a block off the freeway. Not easy to find. Atmosphere is casual but plain. There's a large television at the far end of the dining area. There were five of us for lunch. It was not very busy so no problem getting a table. Our waitress Claire was friendly and courteous. We ordered our meals. Three people got their first course and finished before we did. When their second course came I got both first and second. My spouse still had nothing so I shared some of mine. Finally the last order came not sure why since they were not very busy. I had the Lettuce Wrap $8 and the Shrimp Tempura Sushi Roll $8. Both were tasty and portions decent. My spouse had the Mien Ga Noodle Soup $13 which had no taste, mostly like water. Parking is free in the mall parking lot. WiFi was not available. I had a crying baby but I was trying to be courteous and go ahead and pay for my food and take him to the car while my elderly mom finish eating. This is a 2.5-3 out of 5 star establishment. Servers are friendly and service is prompt. We ordered the special pho which already came with minimal amount of vegetables in the bowl which was unpleasantly surprising. Usually, pho is paired with a separate vegetable plate containing bean sprouts, basil, sawtooth coriander, limes and jalapeño that we may add into our our bowls. Here, the only vegetable that is in the bowl are little amounts of bean sprouts, basil, cilantro, and green onion. We also tried the crab rangoon which was decent but their sauce had a little too much vinegar for our taste. Other plates tried were the Little Gecko and Lemongrass roll which both deserve a 3/5 star at best. Overall, mediocre establishment best reserved for a day where there's nothing left in the fridge. read more
