We ate here on 2 nights during our stay at Wind Creek. Reservations are recommended on the weekends but we had no problem getting a table either night. There are no bathrooms in the restaurant, but there are some in the casino (exit and take a left). We had drinks already at Mixx, so only had water with dinner. The wait staff work in teams. Friday night's team was exceptional (Dennis & we can't remember), and Saturday nights team was okay. The food was great both nights, as was the bread! Hubby had a strip steak cooked perfectly medium rare, he ate every bite! I had the salmon which was also delicious. We split a crab cake appetizer - it was fantastic - no filler, all crab - and we split a garden salad. We did not have room for dessert unfortunately because they make them in house. I had the 18oz Caribbean lobster tail that was on special. As in a lobster tail on a plate with nothing else. The Roasted Brussels - bacon, peanut, honey were great, but I'm not sure where the peanut fits into that dish. The bread served at the table was a valuable bonus. The lobster tail was cooked well, and though it came with butter, it was still a bit bland to the point where I needed to put some extra salt into the butter. Service was attentive, and inside it feels like you are in a steakhouse, giving you a break from the casino floor that is only steps away. The sea scallop appetizer was perfectly prepared though a bit too sweet. The sea bass was fantastic. I only wish my girlfriend had been there to share that delicious peanut butter and chocolate pie with! With a wonderful, positive atmosphere, Chop House is an excellent choice for a great night out. Perfect steak dinner, perfect ambiance, perfect service, worth it completely! What I was surprised at is how well the sound from the casino is baffled from the front of the restaurant. As well they place tables around so you feel fairly private even if the place is getting full. No one was ever standing still for long, all the servers were hustling and checking on patrons and engaged in conversation to really create an atmosphere of belonging and lingering. One amusing thing- the side dishes are HUGE. I expect a family style side at a proper steak house but our asparagus serving was laughably huge with at least a pound on the plate. Never fear, we boxed it and it made for sides for several further meals staying delicious! They had excellent variety of dishes including fish and my partner enjoyed just a few filling appetizers. Bread and butter were basic but good textures, and my French 75 cocktail was solid. I was way too full for desserts and I admit they didn't seem as inspired or unique as the rest of the menu, but we were still packed up with our leftover bounty and pleasantly bid farewell. My wife and I dont eat much and we split meals. She'll have a glass of wine and I dont drink, so our bill is smaller than most. The staff treated us as second class citizens. Ignoring us most of the meal. When they brought the check I waited and waited for them to pick it up until i finally had to go to the front desk and pay it their. After a lovely dinner, I was quite shocked to see such a low rating. In fact. This is a very strong dining experience in the area. Lobster bisque was very creamy. French onion soup was a bit too sweet but still overall a good choice. Steak Tartare was very delicious and the pear salad was really impressive. Their steaks are exquisite. Pleasant waitress who has been there for years. Most of the staff has been there awhile and the restaurant operates smoothly. Clean, quite without much noise from the casino. Service and all that good stuff is ok but the food sucks. I am now committed to stop looking for a decent meal in any casino. I will just grab a hot dog or slice of pizza and call it a day. Our servers Alex and Amanda was outstanding. Super friendly and attentive. We had the tuna tartar that was refreshing and delicious. For our entree wagyu lion steak and my goodness it melted in your mouth with the perfect seasoning. The Mac and cheese with lobster was the perfect amount of cheesy and flavorful. Have to laugh at the references to "upscale" here; I guess those folks got lost from the food court area, since the prices at The Chop House are far from "upscale". As for being "stuffy", look around at who goes to this casino and tell me how that would work. This is Bethlehem PA, folks, not 1965 Las Vegas. Our primary server was Temba, who was wonderful, just as he was last year. The steak I had was as good as I get at 90% of top-of-the-line steak restaurants that actually ARE "upscale" (Morton's, Gibson's, et al). The char I ordered was exactly as I asked for. The cocktails had liquor in them, and too often today you get a good looking drink that's a kid drink elsewhere. The baked potato I got was so big it almost needed its own plate, and was flavorful - again, not always so at other restaurants. I would make a side trip to this place for a good steak any time I am in the area, hopefully with Temba as my server. read more

Decided on the chophouse for preshow dinner and drinks. We were promptly seated upon arrival. Plenty of menu options and drink choices. Service was solid and food came out in a timely manner. We opted for appetizers, entrée and a salad. Prices were slightly higher than comparable value but the food was artfully prepared and delicious. Overall, In and out and under an hour. For a casino steakhouse, not too bad. I had the flatbread and pork belly from the apps selection as I'm not much of steak fan. Both were delicious ! It had a generous amount of savory, sweet bacon and the sauce was amazing. Pork belly was decent but probably not try it again. The steak was 7 out of 10. Service was excellent as the hosts were very attentive. Baked Alaska was decadent. The place itself has potential to be a high end steakhouse (even for a casino) The dining room is a little dated and dim. Definitely needs some improvement. read more

Would recommend this restaurant to anyone very nice being in the casino that the food was so good. We were early so we waited about 15 minutes to be seated which was fine. The server came over right away to give us water and take our drink orders then we didn't see her again for the next 20 minutes until our drinks came. We were waiting to order our apps. Then when she finally came back over she took our orders and we didn't see her again until after our food came out which took another 30-40 minutes. When the food came out it was cold! Everything was cold. The steak was fatty as well. We got the banana tart for dessert and the tart was still so frozen we couldn't eat it. And they didn't even give a whole scoop of ice cream and only a drizzle of caramel. I'm so disappointed with the prices of this place compared to the service and food. It wasn't crowded or anything so we don't know what the hold up was. We were a party of 4. The place itself was nice though. I wouldn't recommend or come back here. read more

The staff was fantastic. Starting from offering us seats at the chefs bar when we had no reservations. Duran, one of our servers, was extremely nice. Food was beyond fantastic. We had a filet mignon and short rib. The filet came with a fig demi glacé that was spectacular. Short rib fell apart and tasted magnificent. Highly recommend eating here - best to make a reservation. My Husband took me here for my Birthday, and we had an awful experience. Our waitress, Gina, initially was smiling but as soon as she saw us she lost her smile and rushed us to order. It felt like she didn't like us because we were Muslim. We ordered some appetizers and entrées, but Gina just walked away without saying much. When our appetizers were ready, another waiter brought them to our table. However, almost an hour passed, and Gina never came back to check on us. Eventually, a supervisor apologized for the delay and offered us a shrimp cocktail while we waited for our food. Gina showed up ten minutes later and said there was a mix-up in the kitchen. We were confused because we got two different stories about why our food was delayed. Finally, after over an hour, our food arrived. My filet mignon was overcooked, dry, and tasteless, and my husband's was almost raw. We were so disappointed that we didn't want to complain and wait for another hour, so we settled for eating the sides and asked for the bill. Unfortunately, Gina was nowhere to be found, and we had to ask another waiter to find her. She brought the bill to the table and again just walked away. We spent a couple of days at the casino for my mother's birthday and wanted to have a good meal to celebrate. The food was good, especially the filet, but the service was bad on many fronts. Our first round of drinks came after the bread and appetizers, which is always a bad sign. We asked our server Gina if everything was a la carte, and we were told that it was, so in addition to steak and seafood mains we ordered baked and mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts as sides. When the mains came, included per entree was mashed potatoes, a crab cake, and asparagus, making the ordered sides completely unnecessary. Our server then disappeared. After a lengthy wait, I approached one of the hosts, Dave, and asked to settle the bill as we had not seen our server in quite some time. I was told to return to the table and he would handle it. Within minutes our server approached the table and repeated verbatim what I had just discussed with Dave and tried to justify her abandonment. I asked her to leave the table and finally bring the check , and I told her that I thought she was making a scene in front of my mother during her celebratory dinner, embarrassing all and worsening an already unpleasant situation. Once the bill was settled, I hurried my mother out into the casino and went back to tell Dave how inappropriate his handling had been and how he made things much worse. I understand how difficult it is to staff restaurants at present, and I've come to expect a certain degree of bad service. I don't expect hostility when I'm trying to make the best of a restaurant's shortcomings. I tried to give feedback to the hotel, but apparently they have no oversight of the restaurant. read more
