I had the 18oz Caribbean lobster tail that was on special. As in a lobster tail on a plate with nothing else. The Roasted Brussels - bacon, peanut, honey were great, but I'm not sure where the peanut fits into that dish. The bread served at the table was a valuable bonus. The lobster tail was cooked well, and though it came with butter, it was still a bit bland to the point where I needed to put some extra salt into the butter. Service was attentive, and inside it feels like you are in a steakhouse, giving you a break from the casino floor that is only steps away. Overall, not a bad pick if you need to have a meal on site.

Perfect steak dinner, perfect ambiance, perfect service, worth it completely! What I was surprised at is how well the sound from the casino is baffled from the front of the restaurant. As well they place tables around so you feel fairly private even if the place is getting full. No one was ever standing still for long, all the servers were hustling and checking on patrons and engaged in conversation to really create an atmosphere of belonging and lingering. One amusing thing- the side dishes are HUGE. I expect a family style side at a proper steak house but our asparagus serving was laughably huge with at least a pound on the plate. Never fear, we boxed it and it made for sides for several further meals staying delicious! They had excellent variety of dishes including fish and my partner enjoyed just a few filling appetizers. Bread and butter were basic but good textures, and my French 75 cocktail was solid. I was way too full for desserts and I admit they didn't seem as inspired or unique as the rest of the menu, but we were still packed up with our leftover bounty and pleasantly bid farewell. Would not hesitate to return!

FINALLY got to eat here. Tended to stay away because I always thought it was upscale and there was never really an occasion that warranted something so upscale. Turns out, even though it is fancy, they're not at stuffy as I assumed. We had a lovely time! Our servers, Chris & Amanda, were great. Prompt, efficient, congenial, & gracious. The food was good. I felt like I was eating cruise ship food. The portions were decent. The flavors ranged from classic to original. Great Date Night spot!

After a lovely dinner, I was quite shocked to see such a low rating. In fact. This is a very strong dining experience in the area. Lobster bisque was very creamy. French onion soup was a bit too sweet but still overall a good choice. Steak Tartare was very delicious and the pear salad was really impressive. Their steaks are exquisite. Perfectly seasoned and prepared exactly to order. Dessert was a banana tart was good (but more of a deconstructed banana cream pie from a famed Atlantic City landmark). Service was impeccable and I would go back again.

Pleasant waitress who has been there for years. Most of the staff has been there awhile and the restaurant operates smoothly. Clean, quite without much noise from the casino. Excellent steak, grilled perfectly to medium. Very good baked potato, but asparagus were cold. Season Pumpkin Bread Pudding was the okay. Dense and not overly impressed. Will go back as it's a good choice when at Wind Creek.

Decided on the chophouse for preshow dinner and drinks. We were promptly seated upon arrival. Plenty of menu options and drink choices. Service was solid and food came out in a timely manner. We opted for appetizers, entrée and a salad. Prices were slightly higher than comparable value but the food was artfully prepared and delicious. Overall, In and out and under an hour. Plenty of time to make our show. If you haven't tried the Chop House, consider it before a show for an upscale evening out.

For a casino steakhouse, not too bad. I had the flatbread and pork belly from the apps selection as I'm not much of steak fan. Both were delicious ! It had a generous amount of savory, sweet bacon and the sauce was amazing. Pork belly was decent but probably not try it again. The steak was 7 out of 10. Service was excellent as the hosts were very attentive. Baked Alaska was decadent. The place itself has potential to be a high end steakhouse (even for a casino) The dining room is a little dated and dim. Definitely needs some improvement.

My girlfriend and I ate dinner at chophouse last night. It was wonderful. Dana and Dennis were our servers, very nice and personable. The food was absolutely delicious. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone very nice being in the casino that the food was so good. The Caesar salad was the best Caesar salad my girlfriend said she had ever had and the French onion soup was so good as well as the filet mignon steaks will definitely be back.

We were early so we waited about 15 minutes to be seated which was fine. The server came over right away to give us water and take our drink orders then we didn't see her again for the next 20 minutes until our drinks came. We were waiting to order our apps. Then when she finally came back over she took our orders and we didn't see her again until after our food came out which took another 30-40 minutes. When the food came out it was cold! Everything was cold. The steak was fatty as well. We got the banana tart for dessert and the tart was still so frozen we couldn't eat it. And they didn't even give a whole scoop of ice cream and only a drizzle of caramel. I'm so disappointed with the prices of this place compared to the service and food. It wasn't crowded or anything so we don't know what the hold up was. We were a party of 4. The place itself was nice though. I wouldn't recommend or come back here.

First, "speakeasy" is definitely used loosely here. The event took place in a ballroom at the Kellogg Conference Hotel, with a stage set up at the front and several round 8-top tables arranged throughout the room. It felt more like a small theatrical performance with table seating than an intimate, hidden speakeasy-style venue. One thing to flag: the event FAQ mentioned that some venues may have a pre-show bar but no food. That wasn't the case here--the hotel actually had food available for purchase before the show. So if that matters to you, it's worth checking directly with the venue rather than relying solely on the event website. The performers truly carry the entire experience. They handle everything--checking tickets, seating guests, serving cocktails, and performing--which is impressive but also leads to some occasional disorganization. When we arrived, there wasn't great communication between the ticket checker and the usher, so some guests seated themselves and had to be moved later. It didn't ruin anything, but smoother coordination would make the start of the evening feel more polished. As for the cocktails: you get four, one paired with each story. Unfortunately, this was probably the most underwhelming part. The drinks weren't very strong--you could barely taste the alcohol--and despite the website showing nice glassware, they were actually served in plastic cups. It didn't quite live up to the "cocktail experience" expectation. That said, the performance itself was fantastic. The cast was engaging, energetic, and clearly passionate about Poe's work. They performed The Pit and the Pendulum, The Cask of Amontillado, Annabel Lee, and The Fall of the House of Usher, and each was brought to life in a compelling way. There were even a few ad-libbed moments that added humor and kept the show feeling fresh. The actors also did a great job interacting with the audience at each table while serving drinks, which added a personal touch. Overall, despite a few hiccups with logistics and the cocktails, the strength of the performances makes this a worthwhile experience--especially if you're a Poe fan.

The service was good, and the food more than lived up to expectations. We started with tender, well-seasoned beef skewers, crispy buffalo wings over blue cheese, and perfectly cooked roasted cauliflower paired with a tasty tzatziki sauce and pickled onion. For my entree, I ordered the maple-glazed short rib. It was incredibly tender, practically melting in my mouth, and came with creamy sweet potato puree and roasted shallots. My friend ordered the rich, deeply flavorful bolognese. Although she received the small plate portion rather than the entree, it wasn't a major issue as we had more than enough food. There are still many items on the menu I'd like to try, and after such a strong first visit, I'll most certainly be back.

It's great for dates because this is where my girlfriend and I had our first dinner together in 2021. Veronica, our incredible server, took care of us. She fielded any questions with ease and her recommendations were exceptional. My girlfriend loved her cosmopolitan and my martini with blue cheese stuffed olives was phenomenal. The artichoke and spinach dip was both plentiful and flavorful. The tuna tartare was a bit dry yet delicious. But that grilled octopus was on a completely different level of flavor and texture. After taking too long & it was obvious it wasn't going to cook on the slab we sent it back for them to grill in the kitchen- after that it was fine but not seasoned at all- just a plain lice of steak. The lamb shank was returned to the kitchen as it was tasteless. Appetizers were tasteless as well- ravioli & octopus. Got a burger instead which was fine. The tacos were fair- little taste & lukewarm. Same for the pork mignon. Not a place I'd return to. Service was fair along with the ambiance- kind of boring.

You walk in, you are at the bar area,But, there is a hostess stand there if you are interested in grabbing a booth to order food. Which is what we have always done and is what we will now never do again because service from this 1 particular shorter waitress is awful. After she dropped our food to the table we didn't see her for an hour despite trying our best to flag her down and asking the other waitress to get her for us so we could have our bill. The owner was working harder than this waitress collecting our empty dishes, asked us if we needed anything, cleaning tables( our waitress removed a used empty glass when she seated us) and I have no clue where she went or what she was doing that while time that she failed to see if everything was okay, we needed anything/refills or were ready to the check. Instead, since my daughter is a regular, she gave us a tip to sit at the bar and order food. Service is much better. Every time we've gone there the food has always been good. This time I got a chicken philly cheesesteak and it was delicious also! Can't say much about the crowd. It's definitely a spot for the younger groups to hang out since the college is so close. The bad thing about that is that they don't respect you at your booth if you are in one just for food. They stand right in front of your table in groups talking and you have zero privacy and it's actually a bit suffocating. When they finally did all move for a moment, I could finally feel the air circulation. This was only around 5:30pm. Service- still awful Food- great Atmosphere- depends what you're looking for
