This traditionally comes with purple rice, napa cabbage, kimchi, cucumbers, spicy broccoli, carrots, spicy sprouts, fried egg, slow-roasted pork and Korean BBQ sauce. I struggle when a dish has too many spicy ingredients and specially kimchi is just too much for me to be able to handle. I requested the kimchi on the side so I could try the dish as it was meant to be tasted but without the commitment of having all that spice in my bowl. They did provide kimchi on the side but what I did not realize was that there was kimchi covering the rice under the other layers. The heat was just too much for me and I was unable to eat the majority of the dish. That being said, what I could eat was delicious. Grains cooked to perfection and tossed in the bbq sauce. Broccoli that was crunchy and had the slightest kick. And tender and juicy pulled pork. If you like the heat, this is a good one. And if you are like me and a bit more sensitive, keep a close eye on the dish as they make it. The place is your run of the mill chain restaurant, nothing fancy and very casual. Service is at the counter much like a chipotle or subway. The restaurant was generally clean with a few dirty tables. The highlight for me was the lemonade/drink bar. Fresh juices and lemonades with unexpected ingredients like cardamom and red beets. I will definitely be going back and giving this place a second chance in the future.

All-natural and fresh food is hard to beat when it's but together so well!…read more CoreLife offers a variety of dishes (and great beverages) from a large menu. The staff is helpful and kind and can easily help you create your own dish. The aesthetics can be a bit better, but the establishment is clean with room for couples or large groups. I cannot wait to return to try the tuna poke!

I have not been to the Bonefish Grill in about eight years and it was great to get back…read more The atmosphere is dark and comfortable with music on the cusp of being too loud for conversation. Hope took care of us and she was amazing with both food and drink. My girlfriend got the key lime martini, which tasted just like the pie. My dirty Bombay Gin martini with blue cheese olives was phenomenal (even though the blue cheese covered the tops of the pimentos). We started with their lime and cilantro cauliflower over cole slaw as well as their warm bread with dipping oil. Both were good, though the cauliflower was a little over-saturated. My girlfriend got the beef potstickers special. She enjoyed it, though once again, they went way over-board with the sauce. However, my crab and corn soup was stellar. I could have eaten bowl after bowl until I went unconscious. My main dish was the blackened ahi tuna. Though slightly overcooked, it was wonderful and the Brussel sprouts were fantastic. We look forward to coming and trying some other dishes. Another reason for our return: When ordering two adult beverages, an appetizer, and two main courses, we normally pay 25% more elsewhere. That's one great incentive to give it another go.

It's open Monday through Thursday, 11 AM - 10 PM, Friday and Saturday, 11 AM - 11 PM, and Sunday, 11 AM - 9 PM. Having lived in Whitehall for 20 years, I've visited this location numerous times, and it never disappoints. The food and service are nearly always spot on! On my last visit, I started with the crispy calamari, coconut shrimp, and bang bang shrimp. While the shrimp dishes were delicious, the calamari was a bit of a letdown. Although it was nicely seasoned and had a good crunch, the pieces were so small that it felt like there was more breading than actual calamari. For dinner, I had the filet and lobster tail. The barrel-cut filet was thick, juicy, and cooked to absolute perfection, and the lobster was hot and flavorful. Honestly, the filet might be the best I've ever had from a chain.
