My  son and I are in the process of   visiting every Chinese restaurant in Chittenden County, VT.  We always   order the same thing.   I  order a chicken and broccoli combo  with  pork fried rice and an egg  roll. My son orders a sesame chicken  combo  with pork fried rice and  beef teriyaki sticks. Price:  $21.46 or $.32/oz is on the higher end of average compared to what we find in Chittenden County.   Portion: 4.1 lbs between the two meals which is average in this region. Pros:  - Convenient location next to the drive-in movie theater in Colchester. - The sesame chicken was delicious, rich with flavor - The chicken & broccoli was very tasty and distinct among Chinese takeouts in our area. - Provided 2 forks Cons:   - They didn't provide soy sauce or duck sauce packets, napkins or fortune cookies - The pork fried rice flavor was average. This is our regular go-to Chinese restaurant. The crab rangoons are the best I've had anywhere. We usually start on them before we even get home, because the food smells so good! Delicious food, made fresh and always hot and delicious. Run by a super hardworking family, you won't be disappointed! We ordered from Chopstick House II last night, and I must say, it was really good. We got crab rangoon (hand made- not frozen...very rare), szechuan chicken and kung pao. All of it was very fresh and clean. Not overly greasy, spicy enough and all the veggies (lots of them) were still crisp. I know it's take out, but considering that, it was way above the other, sub par local options. My husband picked up and said the kitchen looked spotless...also a big deal in our world. Major downside- no real menu online, so we're attaching a photo of it. It's all the standard hits, but I can't always remember all the choices. read more

Curbside pickup was fast & efficient. I've ordered from here in the past, usually from the combo menu. Tonight I ordered from the regular menu & am glad I did. I ordered the beef with garlic sauce. The dish was filled with plenty of bright fresh veggies & tender beef. The sauce was on the sweet side & could have used more heat, bit overall was good. This will now be one of my "usual" items. The ONE authentic Chinese food at Burlington!! It's like private dining experience because the Chinese dishes are not on the menu but you name it and mostly the owner couple can make it. Photos are 水煮鱼，牛腩 and 鸡汤. All delicious and authentic. If you are looking for some real Chinese food at Burlington, this is the place you will want to go. Just ignore the dining environment and enjoy the food itself. Plus the owners are very nice and the food is extremely reasonably priced. You won't regret it! read more

Ordered for the first time last night! We ordered: -1 lg white rice -2 lg pork fried rice -2 lg chicken fingers -2 lg beef teriyaki Ordering was easy, the person answering the phone went over the pick up process. There was a good protocol with the COVID regulations-very safe and comfortable for pick up. Order was ready in 35 minutes, was hot and fresh. My only complaints is the size of the chicken fingers, they were much smaller than what I get at other restaurants-I suppose quality over size. Also, I had a hard time finding a full menu online so had to order what I knew they had-when I arrived to pick up there was a full menu hanging in the window. Tonight I ordered the chicken and broccoli combination with crab rangoons, a small beef lo mein, and an order of chicken wings. (I'm pregnant... don't judge ). I'm particular about my brown sauce, a good brown sauce is hard to come by. But this place had perfect brown sauce. The rice was also perfectly fluffy. The broccoli wasn't overcooked and the chicken was small pieces. I hate when I get huge pieces of chicken I need to cut up. The chicken wings were also perfectly cooked, not too crispy and not soggy and not overly breaded. They were big good sized wings too. The beef lo mein was good too! Based on t,he 4-star Yelp reviews, Chopstick House II appeared to be promising in terms of the food quality. Unfortunately that was not our experience. We had three basic items: Hot and Sour soup, General's Tso's Chicken and Beef Lo Mein. Hot and Sour soup: Disappointing due to the lack of any vegetables with the broth; only bean curd. This was also vegetarian but not mentioned on the menu. General's Tso's Chicken: Overly sweet sauce and doughy chicken. Looked better than it tasted Generous portion. Beef Lo Mein: OK but nothing noteworthy Meal was cooked to order and the wait was ~20 minutes. Unfortunately the menu for Chopstick House II is not online so we could not order ahead of time. If you're looking for the prettiest place, don't bother. But if you're looking for fairly good Chinese food (which has been surprisingly hard, only one place I like more) then you're at the right place. The woman who waited on me was amazing; so polite and attentive. Her son forgot didn't hear sort of my order and she comped it and had it out in 5 minutes. The chicken fingers are actually CRUNCHY. What a difference that makes- The beet teriyaki isn't anything to write home about BUT I've had far worse so I am alright. Curry chicken- wonderfully cooked, served with a bunch of vegetables but you still get plenty of chicken. Not spicy though. Oh well. ‍ They're also about $10 cheaper than our normal place and 10 minutes closer. We will be returning. read more

Absolutely the worst food I've ever tried to eat. We got takeout from here last Saturday night and neither of us could event it. The chicken wasn't the color that chicken is supposed to be, the rice seemed like it'd been sitting for a week, the only decent thing was the steamed broccoli. This establishment offers mediocre, at best, Chinese food but their service is deplorable. We've become to expect missing or incorrect items, but our experience last weekend was not acceptable. Before we left the house to shop, we made a list of what we wanted to order once we were done shopping to pick up on the way home. I listened as my wife called in the order reading off the list we'd made, requesting the server to read it back which he did. We arrived to pick up the order and immediately found a missing item.. However, what happened next made my blood boil. The young man, no more than 13 turned and told my wife she hadn't ordered the item and when my wife objected, he turned again and repeated his claim again in a very nasty and disrespectful tone.
