So I waited two visits to write a review on this restaurant. So that way I would have tried enough dishes that I can actually write about. If I were to sum up my experience in this restaurant in one word it would be balance. This place combines elements from centuries-old recipes to Modern nice recipes it is the perfect Fusion between viet/korean/boba cuisines. Your senses will be definitely enhanced with the aroma and the taste of Korea. Today I had the shortrib sandwish for $6.50. It was absolutely mouthwatering delicious. Lovely combination of their house fragrant spread pate with fresh cilantro, jalapeno pepper, cucumber and pickled shredded carrot/radish. Perfectly balanced and in One word LOVELY! I also enjoyed the mango tea with the lychee bubbles. This tea was quite sweet and very fun to drink as the bubbles explode with a sweet syrup of lychee flavor as you drin.... however the tarp bubble yea with the tapioca Pearl's was my absolute favorite. During my last visit I had the Korean dish called "Bulgogi" which is beef in a perfectly sweet house sauce. This dish came with white rice and an assortment of pickles as well as kimchi.... it is to die for. Again perfectly balanced. I also tried the dishes called "bibimbap" this dish is an assortment of vegetablestoppes with a fried egg over steamed rice spicy chili sauce with the choice of beef chicken or tofu it was ok not better that the bulgogi but quite fun and intresting to engaged. I thought I would sneak in on a sunday evening thinking that it would be slow, man was I wrong. Every table was filled with more coming in the door, luckily I was able to grab a single seat at the bar I started out with the vegtable spring rolls, loved them. Perfectly crisp and the way the veggies were cut were unique adding a great texture. I kept hearing about their Pho, so I gave it a shot and it did not disappoint. The beef pho was very flavorful with fresh herbs and veggies on the side. Overall I was very impressed. Holy Noodles Batman! There is not one thing I did not love about this little "joint". Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. Spice it up as you like with the condiments on the table. The fried tofu- yuuumm. The spring rilles were delicious and the special vegetable pho was packed with fresh perfectly coordinated vegetables in a delicious broth and perfectly cooked noodles. This was my first time having pho. I picked right for this first experience. It was a little hard to find at first but then as soon as I walked in I was pleased. The people inside greeted me with hellos and smiles so bright. They were so nice! We were seated and the whole menu looked amazing. I got the fried tofu and authentic beef pho. The tofu was fried and flavored to perfection, beating my favorite place. I then also got the hibiscus oolong yogurt tea. It was phenomenal!!!!! The pho was the party tho! It was so flavorful and well made( I assume as I've never had it but it was tasty). The broth was hearty but also so fresh. The herbs were magical. And it was so much food!!!! They were so kind start to finish!!!! Also in all my other posts the environment is a big thing for me and this place was so cute and well decorated. And it had soft music playing. Have not been here in quite a while, I don't go to big cities right now due to rioters burning the place down as part of a "peaceful" protest. BUT every time i have been here the food is incredible...I always get pho with extra herbs on the side..the lady that works there grows them herself..Culantro, mint and lemongrass...probably one of my favorite meals!! The appearance of the restaurant was nice. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I ordered the combination pho bowl and the wife ordered the beef pho. It tasted pretty good until my wife found not one but two roaches in the noodles. So needless to say we didn't finish the meal. The staff was told by management to take the cost of one of the bowls off the bill, even though we didn't even make a dent. We don't plan on trying it again. read more

Ordered two banh Mi and only one arrived. So I have to ordered again and they messed up the that order!!

The pho was okay, they did give a decent amount of tendon and tripe. The bibimbap was good. The reason for the two stars the the banh mi. The bread was old, stale, and very hard. The meat provided was minuscule and thin like paper (as my mother put it). She was completely dissatisfied with her order. She originally wanted banh xeo but the waitress said it was no longer on the menu. At least get better bread if you are going to serve it! read more

Found Chopstix while searching for Vietnamese grub while in town for a 3 day mini vacation. Dined here twice during out stay. Note: Chopstix has both Vietnamese and Korean options and we only tried their Vietnamese dishes. Pho - I had pho both times we dined. The wife had a seafood pho her first night. We both enjoyed the pho as it was extremely flavorful and the portion sizes were good. My wife, who is Vietnamese and grew up outside Saigon is extremely picky when it comes to any Viet soups at restaurants, so for her to like it is something. Cm tm - On our second visit the wife chose to have their porkchop with broken rice. Unlike the pho the Cm tm just didn't cut it. Firstly it looked more like Chinese char siu, with a red tint to it. The color (which I've never seen at any viet joint, in the states or Viet Nam was one thing) but it really just lacked flavor. Some work to be done here. Boba - What we really appreciated is that on our second trip we had their boba milk tea and the girl working that night came out to ask if it was for our little boy, and if it was they usually make the drinks less sweet. This was awesome because our Mango milk tea the first night was way too sweet. The honeydew one we had the second night was so much better as the sweetness didn't overpower. Overall we'd definitely recommend Chopstix and will have to try their Korean dishes next time. Chopstix is a great option for Thai food! What I love most about this place is the boba. The boba is served in a cup a little shorter than the average soda cup, but wider than the car cup holder! I got the tofu banh mi which was delicious! The Cilantro, Pickled Carrots & Radish, Cucumber, Jalapeño, House Spread all came together on a perfectly toasted bun to bring out the perfection of the dish! The reason I took off a star is because of the prices. Though the portions of entree food are worth the price, the appetizers are a little pricy for the portions. 2 fairly small spring rolls that are listed under the appetizers are worth about as much as the banh mi. After arriving here at around 9 on a Friday night, I expected a few lingering dinner-goers in the restaurant. There. Was. No one. Although I proceeded to have a decent meal food wise, the lack of noise beside the loud wait staff and the out-of-place piano music made it an awkward overall experience. First, I ordered the mango milk tea with boba and the crispy spring rolls. I traditionally love boba, so when I saw it on the menu, I wanted to order one of my favorite flavors. It came out very, very sweet. I've had milk tea before, and although I knew it would be sweet, I couldn't drink more than a few sips of it. The crispy spring rolls tasted warm and fresh; I'd recommend those as a starter. Next, the main meal. Our food came quickly, probably due to no one else in the restaurant. My friend ordered a ham and turkey sandwich. The appearance wasn't great, but they said it tasted like a solid 8 because of the tasty sauces on top. I ordered the bimbibop (sorry, not sure about the spelling). It was warm and had good flavor with a bit a spice; it was my favorite part of my meal. At the end of the meal, I still couldn't get over how awkward and quiet it was in the restaurant during a Friday night. To top that off, the meal only lasted 30 minutes because it felt like the wait staff was rushing us. I've heard that Chopstix was under new management. It was pretty good to begin with and I've been coming for months, but since the change, it's even better!!! Service is great, interior is nice, clean, and pleasant. They now have Boba!! Best Boba in Nooga! Now we don't have to drive all the way down to Atl. I'm not vegetarian but their veggie Phó and Tofu Bahn Mi are the bomb! They have this spicy chili on each table (not the generic chili that's soaked in oil other Chinese restaurants have) that's real spicy but takes their dishes to a whole new level! FOOD POISON ALERT! We've gone to Chopstix once and ordered out two or three times without issue. I'll give it that. However, tonight, not only did we receive the worst service ever, an hour after eating it felt like our bodies had turned against us. I've eaten street food in the slums of Kenya. I've had gas station food in the Nevada desert. NEVER HAVE I EVER had food poisoning until tonight. It was awful and they are officially off our list of places to eat. Oh, and the bad service? Young woman we ordered from got the order wrong (adding more food) and when I said she was wrong, she called over other people and refused to believe me. Then, she said my card wasn't working and gave me the smuggest look ever. Turns out, she was inserting the card when it didn't have a chip and needed to be swiped. 1st review I did was a couple years ago. Gave them a 5. Today a 2. Ordered the Vermicelli and it was totally different than a few months ago. Lots of dry noodles and lettuce. Very little other veggies. The grilled beef was dry. Looked like they sliced it off a boiled piece of meat. The sauce wasn't the sweet/spicy chilli sauce but fish sauce with Sharasha squirted in it.
