Long overdue review but I just found the business card Emma gave me. We were in town for a wedding and when I mean WE...30 of my husband's family from all over North American descended on this establishment for dinner on a Saturday night. They had a nice little room for us and even with such a large party accommodated separate checks so we ordered by family. If you are going to do this- PLEASE show the staff grace and leave a good tip. We left 30% off each check. The staff were prompt taking orders, bringing out food, and refilling beverages. They are also friendly, but professional. The food...the food was really good. Really with a big party like that everyone's got a hankering for something and everyone was able to get what they wanted. Portions were also very generous. Some of us got to take home leftovers. Restaurant is super clean. There is a full bar. They can accommodate smaller parties in the larger broader restaurant. We went on a Saturday and easily found street parking. I placed a to-go order here on the count that it was Valentine's Day and this place was packed to the girl. Orders were coming in left and right over the phone as well. The restaurant has a pretty cool, looking ambience and has plenty of seating space. It also appears to be overall pretty clean. Service was very friendly and I don't necessarily expect for it to be prompt. As I said, the place is very packed. I'm expecting at least a 30+ minute wait or better. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box with fried rice. It comes with a house salad and chicken broth soup, tempura vegetables, and California rolls. After arriving to my hotel, I dove in to this scrumptious dinner. The chicken, rice and tempura veggies were are very tasty. The rolls were good too. The chicken broth soup was so-so meh. Yuck! If you know anything about sushi- avoid this place. The buffet was so awful. The "sushi" was cold, ugly, had little to no fish, and could not be compared to grocery store sushi as to not offend the grocery store sushi. They had empty pans of teriyaki chicken- the small pieces available were overcooked and chewy. The vegetable tempura was drowning in oil. Even the soy sauce on the table seemed watered down. The place also looked in dire need of repairs- not sure what they spend their profits on because it's certainly not fish, building upkeep, or paying their staff (the receipt for a buffet started their tip suggestions at 20%, then 22%, 24%... for a buffet...) I cannot believe this place has won any awards. Maybe the folks ordering off the menu alone have better experiences. read more

Beyond gross food and overpriced on top of it. I chose poke bowl (15 usd) and bf chose buffet (26 usd). The poke bork was some sort of mix that's not poke: it gad ground up salmon and tuna mixed with mayo (disgusting) and the rice was not good. The buffet was full of junk, sone leftovers type of meal. La Guardia sushi is better than this place. It's probably a tourist trap given its location. I would not recommend by any stretch of imagination. read more

In town for a weekend getaway from ATL and made a quick stop here during lunch for their buffet. Their AYCE buffet is a condensed version of their menu with hot bar, rolls, dumplings and desserts to enjoy during your experience. For $22 it was well worth the price. Sarah was our server and she was amazing, one of the sweetest people ever. When we would walk away to refill our plates we would come back to a clean table and drinks refilled. The food was so good. My partner and I went back repeatedly especially for the dumplings. We had about 3 plates of those and couldn't get enough. Great sushi spot in North Shore! I'm a big fan of sushi so my husband and I came here for my birthday dinner and I'm so glad we did! We made reservations (thankfully, because it was busy on a Friday night) and we were seated immediately when we showed up. Our waiter was quiet but attentive and friendly. He took our drink orders quickly after we sat down - I got a martini and my husband got a beer. For food, we ordered gyoza, miso soup (don't forget to check in on Yelp to get your free miso!), and we ordered about 6-7 sushi rolls. We quickly realized we had ordered too much food, but it was so fun trying all of the rolls and we just took the leftovers home for later. I definitely recommend any of the fried rolls (including the bagel roll everyone raves about), the Chef's Special roll, and the North Shore roll - those were probably our favorites! I got 8 piece nigiri and a spicy tuna roll the portions were very small and the sushi was nothing to write home about, I've gotten better sushi at grocery stores. This was on a Thursday evening right when they opened up so not very busy. We ordered the jalapeño bombs, 2 chicken teriyaki hibachi's and the 8pice nigiri with the spicy tuna roll, plus a tip it was over 100 dollars. I will not be going back. read more

My absolute FAVORITE place to eat in Chattanooga. I get the chicken hibachi and they are so generous with the portions!! They have excellent sake, and you can get it flavored as well (apple, peach, and blackberry)! Sushi is delicious and they have TONS of options!!
