So as I said in my previous review, I was so disappointed that I would never order food from this place again... I do however work in a retired living facility with the elderly who have limited options because of accessibility and aged tastebuds. So I've watched this tenant call and go to voicemail. Unfortunately , she left her order info and card number on the voicemail and is now afraid to order from somewhere else because she doesn't know if this order has went through yet. Because she's had such a tough day, I volunteered to try and get in contact with someone for her. Since then I've called over 15 times in the last half hour and still no answer. This place is garbage all the way around. Spare yourself the stress and disappointment please!

Chicken, shrimp and pork taiwanese chow mei fun

Busy coding away on my keyboard no time to stop and go out or cook so I used eatstreet app on here to get delivery. The reviews where very mixed from both extremes. But I felt in the mood for a no frills shopping center styrofoam container greasy and salty Chinese spot. But when it came was actually a more healthy one. Things must of changed since done of those reviews. Got taiwanese chow mei fun had a good blend of shrimp, pork and chicken the noodles where great. It wasn't the dive experience, I wanted, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was not salty or greasy at all. My blood pressure will thank me later. My kid got the chicken lomien and chicken sticks. Which he seamed to enjoy.

Babies crying, people jumbled everywhere, and a buffet setup that was super packed together near everything else. The good: host sat me quickly and my server was polite and super quick. I guess they got this down to a science? The bad: everything else. How the heck are these reviews high? This place was packed but I felt like if I coughed, it would be all over my neighbor and the food. It was a cluster f. I did the buffet. While they had a lot of options, it was jam packed together. And you bumped into people trying to squeeze through some areas. The sushi was mediocre. The sweet and sour chicken was off. The fried rice wasn't warm. Even my tap water tasted funny. I couldn't finish my hot sake because it tasted off. The wasabi and ginger even looked funky (I will say the wasabi had a nice kick). Best part of my meal was leaving. The miso soup was the only decent part. I should have learned my lesson from previous Asian fusion places but I guess I trusted the reviews on this one. It's clear to me; a lot of people don't have an educated palate.

The general Tso's chicken was a little disappointing but not terrible at all. The fried rice was okay. The real star of the show was definitely the rendang beef; that was absolutely amazing and I'll probably be getting more of their Indonesian authentic foods next time instead of the Chinese stuff.

I went to sit in the car because they are take out only and I had a dog in the car. The woman at the counter is always so friendly and I adore her lilting voice. She came out to tell me my food was ready so I went into get it. The hot and sour soup had too much cornstarch in it and it was not as flavorful as I remembered. I threw it away. The Tahu Isi was tofu filled with veggies, cabbage, onion, carrots and battered and fried. It was good but a little greasy. I liked it though and would probably order it again. The oil probably wasn't hot enough. The beef rendang had a wonderful curry aroma. I put a few spoons of it over the white rice. It was spicy with a good flavor. The meat was tender but some pieces had entirely too much fat connected. One bite was all fat. I liked the spice but be forewarned- it isn't for the faint of heart. It was good but I wished they would trim the meat more but fat is flavor. I'll come back for lunch and see if the beef Mongolian is as good as I remember.

A Sunday Favorite!…read more New Garden is one of my favorite local Chinese restaurants, conveniently located on North Thomasville Road, next to the Bradfordville Publix. Whenever I've had a long, tiring Sunday and don't feel like cooking, this is one of my go-to places. My favorite order is the Mongolian Beef, but I always ask for it with light onions only. The original comes with additional vegetables, but they're always happy to customize it exactly the way I like it. I usually pair it with one of their delicious egg rolls. Another dish I highly recommend is the Boneless Spare Ribs with Pork Fried Rice. It's absolutely outstanding! What really makes New Garden special, though, is the people. The owners are incredibly friendly and genuinely appreciate their customers. Their customer service is exceptional, and they always make you feel welcome. I also love that they occasionally bring candies and other unique treats from China. Those little touches give the restaurant a charm that sets it apart from other Chinese restaurants in the area. If you're looking for great Chinese food, generous portions, excellent customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend giving New Garden a try. It's one of those local gems that keeps me coming back.
