The decor in the restaurant is cool. It's clean and usually crowded when I go. The sushi was okay... their raw fish is not quality, but their rolls are pretty good. Their super meals are a good deal, coming with appetizer, soup, and an entree. Their Chinese food is decent for the area. It's definitely not authentic, but still flavorful without being overloaded with sugar like many take out places. It's not my first choice for Chinese food in the area, but it's a nice place to go with friends to catch up. Service is good and fast- everyone is very friendly. read more

I went around 5:50 pm on a Wednesday. I was solo on business. This place was busy. 3 customers leaving with take out orders as I entered. Another couple was seated reviewing menu for takeout. Another customer checked out then I was seated. The tables were about 80% occupied. I ordered basics - spicy tuna and a Philly roll. I observed other tables getting gorgeous plates of sushi as well as Chinese food. I saw one plate with a lobster display. The portion sizes were generous too. My dishes were fresh, tasty and delightful. Service was friendly and prompt. There seemed to be many regular customers visiting too. I'll go back again for sure! read more

This is a decent sushi place in the white marsh area. They have a variety of options for different rolls and sushi to choose from. One of my favorite things was their baby octopus salad appetizer. It's tastes good and is a little bit more unique then every other appetizer. Chopstix is worth a stop if you're in the area. read more

Ugh...skipped this place for three plus years because the lady experience was so bad. Just came back because it was close and I was late for lunch, will not ever be back. Sushi was awful, overloaded with rice and filler. The sashimi was also terrible, I knew the tuna had gone bad as soon as I ate it and I should have complained. Was so sick when I got home. If you come here, stick to the Chinese food part, who ever is in charge of the fish should be take out back and beaten with a stick...or made to eat his own food. The salad we didn't even touch because the dried up dressing made it clear it had been sitting out on the lettuce for hours....HOURS. Again, ugh. read more

Chopstix is one of my favorite sushi places around Baltimore. They have several speciality rolls (pearl river and the one with banana/avocado are my favorites), which are delicious. The prices are good, and a big benefit is BYOB. read more

Sushi is great for what you pay if they're not too busy. If they're busy, don't get take out because its very sloppy. Their other food is delicious and they give you tons! Very fresh! If you like Chopstix I recommend going to their other location in Forest Hill, great presentation and much bigger place. read more

I went there today for lunch. That was pretty nice that they have lunch special on weekend. We ordered teriyaki chicken & beef lunch combo (one Chinese one Japanese ) also, we ordered mango roll. Honestly, sushi was pretty good but not others. I was pretty upsad with the chicken or beef. The services over there are nice. Restaurant is good. Pearl River Roll is good. Always had a nice time, but the last visit I ended up with the worst case of food poisoning. I didn't get sashimi, either. It ruined it for me, unfortunately and I don't know if I will ever be back. Byob is cool, though! read more

General Tso's chicken was terrible, dry and flavorless. sushi was fair to midland. it would be good to have an option of upgrading from the house salad to seaweed salad for a couple of bucks. They need to add a pick two and pick three option for a sushi lunch. They also need an affordable sashimi lunch option. read more

First time visit was great! Very upbeat place. Got four different rolls of sushi all of which were delish! I would suggest dragon roll and American dream roll, they were both splendid! Although the food was good the piece portions that the rolls were cut into were slightly big and ide rather not have to cut my sushi before I eat it. The sushi is gross, there's no other way to describe it. I tried the octopus salad, it was meh. The imitation crab in the California roll tasted like it had mayo in it. I couldn't even eat it. My husband didn't even finish eating the sushi. When my husband and I go to Oishi for sushi we order 5 rolls and devour them. The service was mediocre. I liked the BYOB part but that was the best part of the dining experience. If you want to try sushi go to Oishi in Arnold. It's a little bit of a hike from Perry Hall but the drive is worth it. I like this place. It's a pretty generic but solid place to get sushi or Chinese food (American Chinese food that is). I like their California roles the best and they've got a really good lunch deal. Don't go here if your on a diet though, but in sure you know that. I hear they have an authentically Chinese place in Rosedale that I really want to check out. read more

Best sushi place!! I go here usually at least once every 2 weeks for lunch or dinner and its just soo delicious!! The pearl river roll is definitely a good choice but the fried ice cream is definitely a must!!! 4 rolls, an order of chicken/shrimp lomein and fried ice cream all for just $35!! Everything is great. The only thing is sometimes the waiters move to fast. You don't get what you pay for here. It's 6$ for a seaweed salad that is half crunchy noodles not even seaweed. Secondly 7$ for a shrimp tempura roll (which has shrimp inside only) no cucumber or avocado.. the shrimp tempura roll is crusted in something that is definitely not tempura- it's more like crunchy bread crumbs. Good vegetarian options here. Try the sweet potato roll on the sushi menu, which is actually tempura sweet potato, still warm and crispy. Instead of the standard fried tofu in goopy sauce, the bean curd szechuan style is soft cubes of tofu in a delicious spicy gravy-like sauce, with peas and carrots. My top recommendation is the vegetable Cantonese Chow Fun, which comes off like a mild version of Thai drunken noodles...very wide, soft noodles with fresh vegetables. read more
