Ordered a make-it-yourself omelette, and I was disappointed: flat, not fluffy, mushrooms were courtesy a can and the swiss cheese courtesy a cheese product ziplock. Meh. Won't be coming back. Cook can't tell the difference between rare and medium-well when cooking a steak and was pretty much ignored by the wait staff. It was busy, but there were plenty of servers to cover the whole dining area. Asked twice for sugar for my coffee and never got it. I had to go rob it from an empty table. I drove all the way from Houma Louisiana to eat at Chris's Cafe. Of course we had to go to my daughter's wedding then the reception the day before. I had never been here and I was amazed. Being from the New Orleans area, we know frat food. That being said, The chicken fried steak was to die for. I also had a side of SOS {military lingo) that was just amazing. But first, I had a scone. I spent 5 years in England and had many scones. They weren't anything like this scone. Chris's was 1000 times bette! . Love the way the butter pooled on top of the scone. All was wonderful and the next time we come to Clearfield we will camp out at this wonderful Cafe. Thanks to all. read more

My family and I went to this cute little restaurant and was absolutely amazed, wonderful service, the owner was soooo attentive and fun, not to mention our waitress I forgot her name but she was so amazing, I do remember she had short brown hair so props to her! I had a bacon, chicken and avocado sandwich with fries made fresh and it was delicious, that I took the left-overs home to eat later. I only take good home from restaurants if the food is worthy of it. Waitress was very friendly, quick to take and place our orders. Nice decor, the floors clean and so are the bathrooms. read more

First time in for breakfast. Ordered the two egg breakfast and it was good, hot, and served fast. This was Wednesday morning at 9:00 am and had roughly five booths full. Atmosphere was clean with a garage feel and a Harley in the lobby. Waitress was friendly and helpful on menu recommendations. Glad they opened in Clearfield and close to my home. The food was awesome! The service was awesome! My wife and I could have easily shared a plate the portions were so big. My only issue was the seat backs in the booth were loose so I had to feel the guy behind me constantly moving. I think my 4 year old son sits more still than this guy. Great service - seated promptly and greeted quickly by wait staff. Everyone very friendly and cheerful. Helpful on menu choices - existing and specials. Food served quickly and hot, including bringing the items out a little early (in waves) so we could enjoy them hot. Portions were generous and cooked to request, including 'extra crispy hash browns, at waiter suggestions and 'not floppy but not crispy /burned bacon' our request - thanks to Jesse and well handled & executed orders. I've been several times and picked up food to go. It's always amazing. Twice during the busy holiday season, we went in needing a table for eight people and they easily accommodated us quickly. The wait staff are always fun and engaging. I see the owner every time I go. The eggs Benedict are a favorite and I could eat them every time, but usually, I go with something healthier. Loved the food here. Our first time and it was great. I had the biscuits and gravy combo and I really enjoyed it. The bacon could have been crispier but I am just picky about my bacon. The scone was good but not my favorite scone. The gravy was amazing. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast combo and I stole I bite of his and it was so good. One of the best I've had.
