I ate here about two years ago while working at the Air Force Base in Layton, UT, and I wanted to remove my old review bc I enjoyed the cafe very much and appreciated their attentiveness and service and food. Loved the thin crispy has browns and lots of veggies in the omelette. Thank you Chris for following your dream. Nice owner and nice staff.

Best omelette I have ever had. They had their special of the day- steak omelette and it was incredible. This thing was FILLED with steak. It also had peppers and onions and they were grilled perfectly. The hashbrowns were great... the scones were great... and the banana pancakes were fantastic. They even made chocolate chip pancakes for my kids. The decor is adorable, the scene was nice and it was only a 20 minute wait on the 4th of July morning. I was very impressed.

Solid food. Excellent service. This place is always super busy Saturday mornings but it's worth the wait.

Most of the food is okay. The scones are gross they need to use a different dough recipe.

It's a family-run restaurant with an open kitchen, so you can see every dish being prepared right in front of you. It doesn't feel like a typical restaurant--it feels like you've been invited into their home. And what truly sets this place apart is the people behind it. The father took the time to walk us through the menu and explain each dish in detail. The mother shared the cultural and historical inspiration behind the plates, connecting the food back to the Philippines in such a meaningful way. Their son served us with professionalism and genuine kindness. You can feel the pride, love, and intention in everything they do. What we ordered: Pork Lumpia with Sweet Chili Sauce - perfectly crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor. Sizzlin' OINK Sisig - served hot with an egg on top... bold, savory, and absolutely addictive. Lechon OINKawali - crispy pork belly done right: crunchy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Pancit Noodles - THE BEST NOODLES EVER!!!! And for dessert: Banana - Bowlicious - fried plantains tossed in cinnamon sugar, topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle... the perfect sweet finish. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the fried sweet plantain banana desert but I have to say that the flavor still lingers in my mouth and my heart! Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The sauces are clearly made from scratch, and the flavors are rich, authentic, and beautifully balanced. And the value? Unbeatable. We ordered appetizers, three main dishes, and two desserts and the bill left me speechless in a good way :) If you're looking for authentic Filipino cuisine with heart, story, and flavor this is the place. Highly recommend. Thank you for an amazing last dinner in Utah! I will absolutely be back.

At first I was intimidated by the regulars and thought I'd be warded off but sure enough, I became a regular. Their tap selection isn't the best, but if you just like plane jane beer it's a great spot. Steak night is always the best with a big portion of food and cheap priced beer. What it is, and what I am rating it on. It is a dive bar, it has sticky tables, (not really) it has pool tables and tacky decor, it has really friendly service and it is awesome for what it is. The crowd can be a little rough and it is a Bar, must be 21 years or older. It has typical bar food, hamburgers and anything you can put in a fryer. But on Thursdays and Saturday Nights, after 6:00PM it is steak night. I usually don't like local grills for steaks, they're usually terrible. But not here, one of the best steaks I've had outside a high dollar steak house. After 6PM it is time for steaks, they close down the other menu items and you have a choice of steak (Ribeye) or steak (Ribeye). You can choose your temperature, I chose MR, and it was probably Med, but that's okay. Comes with a baked potato, a roll and grilled onions and mushrooms. But what stands out was the flavor, so good, place got a little smokey as they grilled. I really like mushrooms and grilled onions, but the steak didn't need em. I took mine off and enjoyed the steak as it was. I did finish the mushrooms and onions as a side. Highly recommend steak night. The salad was plain with cheese and croutons, nothing special. The Potato was cooked perfectly with a cooked crunchy skin, soft potato goodness in the middle. Came with butter and sour cream, I would have liked some cheese, bacon and chives, but it was still good. Lots of food, didn't try dessert. My wife enjoyed her steak too but would have liked some other options, it was a lot of food for her. But lunch for me the next day. Our waitress Zoe was new but very good, very attentive, and very friendly. Well done Zoe. Keep it up Rainbow Saloon.

We were able to order shortly after we were seated and our server brought our scones with honey butter to eat while we were waiting for our food. Which arrived shortly after that. We hadn't been in for several years and were very happy with everything we had. I had chicken fried steak, which was very good and the side of hash browns were just the right amount of crispy. My husband had a ham and cheese omelet with hash browns, which he enjoyed as well. He also ordered a sweet roll the size of a dinner plate and was covered in an ample amount of good-flavored frosting. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and won't wait as long to go back again!

The ambience was ok-they were decorated for Christmas with all things grinch related. We might have come just as they were moving inventory, because there were lots of boxes stacked up in the seating area and a big ladder off to the side. There are different seating arrangements-tables and chairs as well as larger chairs along the walls to invite you to stay awhile.
