Not only would his future involve a smile that wasn't aesthetically pleasing, it could seriously have affected his everyday life. My son required multiple rounds of expansion, and braces twice. Dr. Cruz is very gentle, knowledgeable and patient. We met with a few doctors and let our 10 year old decide which doctor he wanted and he picked Dr. Cruz (smart kid ). While other doctors will start with expanders right off the bat ($$), Dr. Cruz opted to wait and see how the rest of the permanent teeth will fall into place before we started with the braces. We are super happy with the results. Straight teeth in less than 2 years from when the braces were put on. Dr. Cruz and team is highly recommended. read more

Great doctor and incredible staff make this place really the only choice for quality orthodontics. Going through the process of braces/orthodontia is a big decision and where you go is a big deal because you work together for a period of time and you go to many appointments. All three of my children go to Dr. Cruz and we couldn't be happier. We've scheduled (and rescheduled) dozens of times and the staff is always kind and efficient. Dr. Cruz is intelligent, thoughtful and the billing department has worked with us (and our different insurance carriers over the years) to make everything affordable. I walked in there with awful work (braces from western dental that weren't done correctly) and expected them to fix them. Dr Cruz and his team absolutely exceeded my expectations. Looked up this business due to their 5 star reviews and decided to call to inquire about the Invisalign treatment. The lady that answered really came off rude and blunt just because I asked her for a price range for the treatment. Obviously I need to go to a consultation to get a quote but she said she could not provided a quote over the phone (note: I was asking for a price range not quote) because that's not how they run their business and I would have to go to a free consultation. The point is that I don't want to go through X-rays and waste no one's time including mine if I don't even have a price range. Other offices do provide a price range by the way. She was very rude on the phone and that was just another red flag besides her not wanting to provide a price range-makes me think this place is probably super expensive. It's not just the price but the customer service you get even over the phone. read more

I called Dr. Cruz's office to get a consultation for a permanent retainer. I used Invisalign through a different office, but I wanted to come to an orthodontist that was closer to home. After explaining the situation to the receptionist, she put me on hold and then came back on to tell me he would not see me since I was not a patient of his. I am disappointed that he would not even offer a consultation, review my case or personally look at my teeth. The receptionist was very unfriendly on the phone. Apparently you cannot become a patient of his unless you are already a patient of his. Or maybe since I was looking for something small and not expensive like an entire set of braces, his clinic does not have time for my business. read more

He was honest enough to tell my son that he would clean them and he didn't charge him. Not only that but he remembered both my sons and inquired on how they were doing. Dr Cruz took over my wife's (Brooke) orthodontic care about a year and a half ago. He had a lot of work to do from her previous orthodontist. He was so caring and his staff has been incredible. Absolutely excellent place for my family! If you want an honest Dr. who loves his job, and makes decisions based on the patient needs and not his wallet this is the place! Dr. Cruz and his stellar staff have provided great service through the years to my family! Everything about him and his team exudes professionalism, personable, top notch, and totally dedicated to making this entire orthodontic experience positive for your family. They've well exceeded that with my kids, and our budget! We looked around for good deals and their prices were comparable to other offices, but after meeting Dr. Cruz and his staff it was an easy decision for us. I was under the impression my daughter (my youngest) needed braces after seeing another Orthodontist. Dr. Cruz informed us that she wasn't ready because her permanent teeth weren't in yet, and if he did put them on she would have to wear braces twice, and of course the cost would double. He said it would be at least a year before she was ready so the following year I maximized our FSA thinking she would get braces, but again Dr. Cruz said she wasn't ready. Lucky for me she didn't need braces because I ended up using our FSA money on two emergency root canals. I especially appreciate their ability to work around my kid's school and our work schedule. I've had to cancel several times because of meetings, travel or my kids having tests in school, and they're always so amenable to work with us. If you're looking for an orthodontist do yourself a favor and at least call or stop by! You won't be disappointed. read more
