From our very first visit, it was clear that he is not only a leading orthodontist in Southern California, but also a genuinely kind and patient doctor who truly cares about his patients and their families. My daughter is generally cautious of going to the doctor or dentist but she feels very comfortable with Dr, Chang. He takes the time to explain my daughter's treatment plan to her and me. He is calm, thoughtful, and never rushed -- qualities that make such a difference during orthodontic treatment. He also is a mentor for other orthodontists and helps train dental students at USC. We call Dr Chang a magician in our family because he was able to use Invisalign to pull up up daughter's tooth that was under her gum and parallel under two other teeth. Another orthodontist we met with would have extracted it. My daughter's tooth emerged without any trouble because of Dr. Chang's treatment and she now has a beautiful smile. The office itself is welcoming and well maintained. My daughter loves the sea and Hawaii-inspired décor--it's quite relaxing! The staff is just as wonderful.
