We still have heard nothing from his office regarding the issue. No care what so ever. If you have an eye emergency, do not use this doctor. And the hospital in San andreas should not be using this doctor to send patients too. This doctor just doesn't care.

She responded, 'Would you like to come earlier?" How does that help? I guess if you're #1 or #2, they start on time. What happened to 'I'm sorry for the inconvenience. . .etc.' Last appt, was for 10:00. I was taken into the exam room at 11:30 am. When done, I needed to order glasses for night driving. This started at around 12:45. Didn't take long. I was asked to pay in full before I left. I shared I pay with cash and did not have enough on me. One staff member had the gall to say 'You mean you don't have a credit card?' Pretty rude. They advised they were 'closed' (1pm). 'Gave' me 10 minutes to go to my bank, get cash, return and make full payment. No receipt since they were 'closed'. Strike One Now - a month has passed and I don't have the glasses. Last week when I called for a status, I was advised the office had trouble getting the frames, but I should have the glasses this week. This week I'm advised the glasses are still 'in progress'. They can provide me no estimated date they will be ready for pick-up. Strike Two Next appt, should I keep it, I'll (1) simply arrive 45 minutes late so my wait is shortened or (2) leave after waiting 15 minutes or (3) do a combination of the 2. If they give me grief, it will be Strike Three Frustrating but respecting appt. times is a consistent problem with this office. Maybe if enough people say/do something, the practice will improve its customer service.

I called immediately during their posted business hours, but reached an answering machine. The recording provided another number for true emergencies, so I called it and spoke with their answering service. I explained the situation, provided my phone number, and requested an urgent callback. Eight hours passed, and nobody called. I called again around 6:30 p.m. and spoke with a different representative. She seemed helpful, but the result was exactly the same--still no callback and no assistance. Unfortunately, this is not the first time they have handled an eye emergency this way. They did the same thing when I personally needed urgent eye care. Based on our experiences, there appears to be no urgency, accountability, or genuine concern for patients who need help. When someone is experiencing a potentially serious eye problem, being ignored for hours is completely unacceptable.

When my wife called Donaldson to clarify the issue, the receptionist said that they sent a couple of bills that were never either sent nor received and that it was sent to collections. Not a phone call, email or any type of steps to make contact with us prior to sending it to collections. Ww have had the same phone # and email for 15-20 years. Completely unacceptable professional behavior particularly for a small $85 bill, which we would have been happy to pay if known. Would NOT recommend this company and will be speaking to our insurance company regarding the shady behavior by this company.

i waited 3 months for an appointment thinking this would be a good Dr because of the long wait…read more unfortunately that was not the case. even though i had an early morning appointment the Dr was running 1 hour behind schedule, Dr Arfon gave me no time to ask questions or to give me anytime at all. he looked in my eyes commented on my age and asked if i was still working full time. but was not interested in speaking to me about my vision problems. i will never go back there!!!
