After being told I have cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and upper eyelid drooping, I expected to be referred to an ophthalmologist. Instead, I was told it was "not bad enough yet." I wondered, how bad does it have to be? The doctor said, "Don't worry, haha, I won't let you go blind." That did not feel appropriate or reassuring to hear as a patient. I expected my concerns to matter and hoped for some compassion, such as an offer to refer me for a second opinion. Instead, I had to call my endocrinologist to get the referral myself. I have been struggling with my vision for a while. I cannot see up close without glasses, my vision is cloudy and fuzzy, and I am unable to drive at night. When I saw the ophthalmologist, he said these issues had been developing for some time. I told him I had only been diagnosed in 2022, and he said the condition appeared to have been present for about 10 years and was serious. I called the doctor's office, left a message with this information, and when they called back, they said the new doctor could be my family doctor going forward. It felt as though, because I raised my concerns, they no longer wanted to see my family. That was not what I was looking for. I was simply hoping for a little compassion from the doctor.

I felt like I was the only one there and was taken very good care of and had follow up that was handled by the staff quickly. So quick, I got an appointment with Kaiser that afternoon and eye surgery 5 days later. Will definitely visit Dr Galli again - and by the way, they accept VSP

I recently took ky daughter to the local ER where the only recommendation was to contact Dr Robert Haymond. We tried his conventional number and only received his afterhours voicemail even though it was clearly within his normal business hours. So we.tried his emergency number and received his answring service. I left a message with them.twice, and both times were told.they pass on the information. We still have heard nothing from his office regarding the issue. No care what so ever. If you have an eye emergency, do not use this doctor. And the hospital in San andreas should not be using this doctor to send patients too. This doctor just doesn't care.

I called immediately during their posted business hours, but reached an answering machine. The recording provided another number for true emergencies, so I called it and spoke with their answering service. I explained the situation, provided my phone number, and requested an urgent callback. Eight hours passed, and nobody called. I called again around 6:30 p.m. and spoke with a different representative. She seemed helpful, but the result was exactly the same--still no callback and no assistance. Unfortunately, this is not the first time they have handled an eye emergency this way. They did the same thing when I personally needed urgent eye care. Based on our experiences, there appears to be no urgency, accountability, or genuine concern for patients who need help. When someone is experiencing a potentially serious eye problem, being ignored for hours is completely unacceptable.

Dr. Ardron is great, cares for his patients and ensure quick and efficient appointments. I reccomend all my friends who need eye care to Donaldson. I was referred here a few years back by a coworker and I am glad that this is the practice I ended up with. They also have a vision center for glasses shopping right accross the parking lot.
