Not a phone call, email or any type of steps to make contact with us prior to sending it to collections. Ww have had the same phone # and email for 15-20 years. Completely unacceptable professional behavior particularly for a small $85 bill, which we would have been happy to pay if known. Would NOT recommend this company and will be speaking to our insurance company regarding the shady behavior by this company.

You won't get that at LensCrafters! When my pre-teen daughter turned out to be mildly nearsighted, Dr. Iwata actually suggested we NOT get glasses for a couple of years because it was his experience that girls that age would probably not wear them anyway out of vanity. After being told I have cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and upper eyelid drooping, I expected to be referred to an ophthalmologist. Instead, I was told it was "not bad enough yet." I wondered, how bad does it have to be? The doctor said, "Don't worry, haha, I won't let you go blind." That did not feel appropriate or reassuring to hear as a patient. I expected my concerns to matter and hoped for some compassion, such as an offer to refer me for a second opinion. Instead, I had to call my endocrinologist to get the referral myself. I have been struggling with my vision for a while. I cannot see up close without glasses, my vision is cloudy and fuzzy, and I am unable to drive at night. When I saw the ophthalmologist, he said these issues had been developing for some time. I told him I had only been diagnosed in 2022, and he said the condition appeared to have been present for about 10 years and was serious. I called the doctor's office, left a message with this information, and when they called back, they said the new doctor could be my family doctor going forward. It felt as though, because I raised my concerns, they no longer wanted to see my family. That was not what I was looking for. I was simply hoping for a little compassion from the doctor.

She told me that's what I received and that's what I get and the manufacture did not make amber lenses or bifocals, so I called the manufacture and guess what they make amber lenses and bifocals. They call here to tell her that they do make these glasses and she reorders them. I get the next pair back and they have amber lenses with no bifocals, so she is very rude and tells me I didn't order bifocals. So she made another big mistake and lies again. So I am stuck with $160 glasses with no bifocals, Don't go here and save yourself a lot of misery.

The girl that took my call was super sweet and worked with my schedule to get me in within a couple of weeks. My interaction with the front desk staff was equally as pleasant..they had me fill out my paperwork and I was taken back a short time after. The tech that did my first few tests was really nice. She took care of the first few things and took me to the room to wait for the doctor. I saw Dr.VanBuskirk...he was awesome! He was professional, answered all my questions, took his time, didn't seemed rushed at all. I really liked that, a lot of times you go to a dr appointment and feel like they are on a time restraint, I didn't get that impression at all with Dr.Van Buskirk. He explained everything he was doing and what everything meant. I was impressed. After my exam, I met with another tech who helped me choose frames for my glasses. She went over other options available to me but I never once felt pressured. I chose my favorite and she put the order in for me. They called me today ( a week and a half later) to pick up my glasses and my experience was just as easy and pleasant. I was in and out in 5 minutes. I love my glasses and I love my new eyecare office! I highly recommend....five stars!

I've been going to Dr. Fleming for over a decade now. He's been wonderful treating my weird…read moreeyesight - one nearsighted, one farsighted - and while I am happy that he is gradually phasing himself into retirement, I'm sad to lose him as my eye care provider. While I loved teaching, I was glad to retire, so I understand. The office staff is always pleasant and professional, greeting clients as soon as they pass through the door. Office policy is "no fragrances." I get that, and always remember to leave the Chanel on the shelf. Regarding the purchase of new glasses, I avoid that, no longer having the luxury of insurance. Instead, I recycle one or two pairs of several frames I've held onto because I like them. Only once have I been told that's not possible, because "they" don't like beat-up frames. They're not; what am I, 12 years old? Even though Dr. Fleming has sold his practice, I will continue as long as he's taking a few appointments. I feel my exam is thorough, and the results always discussed with me. The practice keeps up with new technology, and I like that. He reassured me when I expressed worry about renewing my driver's license; the eye exam always brings anxiety. Should I fail the exam, Dr. Fleming told me there were options. Finally, while I was undergoing treatment for a serious illness, the office was very understanding when I schlepped in, not wanting to miss an appointment.
