I called Company to have a diploma come out and give a quote for a tub in…read moremy batbroom . gave me a quote Labor and I would buy the supplies at Home Depot and he'll pick them up and bring them over to put them he told me he could take care of the tile and the the flooring, and the wall around the existing walls for the shower while he did not do the tiling behind the tub and left the top exposed to the outside walls of the mobile home. I found that out of much later they came over and apologize and sent a gentleman from Fort Myers. Read the first name of Kyle who I hope I haven't left put in a new stone with the walls to go with it's not level. The walls are all crooked. They he's for the plastic resident trim off the frosted window that looked into the tub and told me oh by the way, you need a second code of mud on the throw. All I put up and he didn't put the drywall all the way around and left me a mess. Left the window undone. Left the tub and done. Left the sub floors exposed. I called. Company and their manager. Chad told me on the side. I said I did not. He was a goat employee. He came to give me a quote as a goat he was here. I asked if you get replaced my busted up bathroom I was asking him as a goat employee. You're not as a private person I don't know the man from anywhere change the toilet, which was no big deal OK job. I'll give you that. Not not a great job. I'm not a good job. Just OK. He also stole two $500 Apple advances from me and a $50 cash advance from Apple. He told me he needed that. I find out after the fact here for the whole time except for the library last the goat company truck in and a company uniforms that he was expired. And he's done the same I put pictures of my yelp and I'm looking for them because it was horrifying. I had a Contractor who lives gonna become with it and he goes. This is horrible. They need to come make this right. I called the goat, plumbing, out sent Kyle put the tub in. Nothing is my shower all level. They just don't wanna take the time. He said we Don or and we don't walls around the unit and we also onto the window. Resident that rush. The window that looked and with part of the set up the shower set up. Well first plumber. Told said they did everything. Or I would never have agreed to this job. I'm 73 and I'm Social Security. My $4000 job is turned into a $10,000 out that I cannot afford. I live right in a 55+ community right on the water and we were two hurricanes in a row and I have been slowly digging my way out years. Trying to get my place for back together. It is my retirement help. I do not have homeowners insurance because they do not give them on mobile homes. My mobile home is basically brand just a chassis, the iron very strong. Was putting 8. I had to replace the water, vapor etc. etc. I'm a far away from being done. I want them to give me back with the money I gave them because I afford to them this kind of money. I found a wonderful man from my church who has a commerciompany and he sent guys over to work. They they did do a wonderful job .I want my money back from them and they will not give it back to me. Kyle mgr Goat Plumbing Co took my tub . He said I won't be able to get anything for it and a week later I get a phone call. Oh guess what? I can'give you $700 for your tub as they able to get it back from Home Depot for you.. I want rest of my moneys. Kyle from Fort Myers of goat, plumbing Company. The night. He left here. I had to write a check for $2000. I've had $ 2000 before but I wasn't sure if I gave them the extra 210 if i did not . I said I will go you $2000 because they know I'm very prompt about paying my bills . I want that Money back, they still have my money and I've had to pay another 1500 to the other company that did the job and fixing the disaster and I'm very upset about and he told me that night. When I said I will just send in the 210 into the company. He said if you don't write that check for $2210 tonight. I am going to tear out your bathroom. Everything I did. I should've let them do it. Anthony agreed to come out and fix it. We were surprised it was leaking so quickly after replacement. he said he would not charge us but that it would be the last time. After that we would have to pay all over again. On October 27, 2025, and Sprinklers came out to do normal maintenance on our sprinkler system and the backflow valve was leaking just as it had when Anthony replaced it and then fixed it eight months later. The backflow valve appeared to be very old according to the technician. When Anthony said he replaced it in August 2023, I did not retain the part. This time I will retain it. This repair is quite expensive. My bill today including some other adjustments was $895. I'm writing this to advise you that if you use Curtis Plumbing, retain the parts that they replace. I'm still not convinced that Anthony ever replaced the backflow valve in the first place.

That company was quite high, though, in pricing for anything and so I naively believed BBB and Angie's list and went with APEX. Anyway, long story short, the plumber from APEX, misled us into believing the sink drain was cleared. He couldn't find anything wrong with the toilet, he said. He did more investigating around the premises. I kept asking how much this was going to cost and he replied, "Don't worry about it." (Have footage on live camera).Then, when he was done, he told us it would be $325.00. He produced a tablet, stating that is where I needed to sign giving APEX permission to take my credit card.He said we'd receive an e-receipt along with other quotes and he was headed to his truck and would send it while parked there. After not receiving anything, I called his office and had to wait the next day. To our astonishment, the plumber had written very inaccurate assessment of things and even stated I agreed to a camera to check the pipe out. I made it clear we didn't need that.It turns out that he made my signature appear as if I agreed with his false quote which I never saw until a day later. Yesterday, a plumber representing APEX PLUMBING, surprised us by showing up. I was at work and saw on my live camera the guy preparing to do some work.Unannounced and without permission. Mother tried to tell him NO but he seemed to ignore her until he heard my voice on the camera and made him LEAVE. I was unsuccessful in fully communicating with his general manager, Frank. Had a hard time getting a working email from his office...I hear crickets ..I sent them an ULTIMATUM. And we want our $325 back as the sink is still clogged as is the toilet. We called out an AC / "Vent Cleaning" service who's tech "cleaned" the vent but spent the majority of the time trying to sell more services. Turns out the light came back on about 6 months later (for a service that should be annual). This time, we called VentSmart. Dryer vents are ALL they do. One price for a vent on the side of the house, another if the dryer vents to the roof. Wayne was super friendly and pleasant. He dispatched Chris in short order. Chris was even friendlier and worked hard to get the job done right. That first "Vent Cleaning" service never checked the roof, just "cleaned" from our air-conditioned laundry room. Chris got up there and removed a HUGE chunk of lint (attached pic), then high-speed brushed from top AND bottom. There was no BS, no trying to sell other services, no surprises with the cost. Just thoroughly cleaned the house vent, the vent in the dryer, and all around the dryer seals. Then cleaned up everything behind him. Professional, super nice, and a very reasonable price. I saw positive Google reviews - my mistake was to not check Yelp where the honest reviews would have saved my carpet that I absolutely love. When the first person came out I explained this was a Custom Made Carpet, meaning the colors in the bold patterns were picked by me to coordinate with our furniture and walls. He told me how beautiful it was. We discussed that we do not wear shoes in the house, and have no pets and I showed him the corner of the rug that was soiled. They called it "high traffic pattern". The rep said they may not be able to get the dirt out 100%. I was grateful for the honestly and based on the 5 star reviews on Google, I thought surely they will do a great job and if it isn't 100% at least it would look better. My carpet except for a 1 x 5 area in the corner of the 9 x 12 carpet looked brand new. As you can see in the video the background color was snow white with bold yellow, red and blue designs woven in. When the carpet came back it looked exactly like it did when they took it. I said I can't see where they cleaned at all? They took it back and in a few days brought it back again. Again, I didn't see a noticeable change in the dirty area. The delivery guy said he would take it back if I wanted for a "more aggressive" treatment. And he said it in a way that I wasn't sure if it was a threat or was he trying to tell me something. I replied that I don't know what "more aggressive" means and he did not explain. Still trusting the brand name and google reviews, I thought maybe he was just tired of hauling the carpet in and out of my house. A few days later the carpet comes back. I am in SHOCK! The White background looks like it was washed in dirty water and instead of snow white it is now a dingy color with grey tones in some areas. The red and blue areas are noticeable faded. The yellow areas no longer match each other. One looks faded like the red and blue areas. The Yellow in the soiled area is now STRAW COLORED. It is so close to the dingy background that used to be white, that there is ALMOST NO CONTRAST. To make it worse, the dirt is still there - it has just spread to a larger area!!! I took a close look at it and now it also has PET HAIR on it???? We do not have pets. I told them this was not acceptable and that my carpet has been ruined. I asked them to process my complaint and said I would like a refund and compensation for the carpet. It was by now not a new carpet but I certainly expected some compensation, not a full new rug. Christ Gingell said they would review the situation and get back to me to see how this could be resolved. I was told I needed to send in the receipt for when I purchase the carpet. I think they were hoping I didn't have it. I sent it in the same day. I got a call from Mark who said he was the Regional Manager. This is a 100% polyester carpet and they are the easiest carpets to clean and also the least likely to be damaged. When I told him this, he couldn't argue. He blamed everything under the sun and said it was impossible that they ruined the carpet. He said the carpet "was defective" and it is not their fault that "the colors bled". The colors were washed out in the specific area they focused on. The colors did not bleed. I told him that I was relying on them, the carpet cleaning professionals to advise me. If they had simply told me that they could not clean my carpet without damaging it, I would have had that section cut off and saved the rest. I loved it that much. I can no longer do that because the WHOLE carpet is now dingy and washed out and there is nothing to save because the TWO Yellow areas do not match at all, one is faded yellow and the other straw! We had several back and forth calls where I had hoped we were making progress. He then directed me to read the fine print in the form I signed. Down in paragraph 6 it says: Customer understands that Stanley Steamer AGREES TO PERFORM THE SERVICED INDICATED IN A WORKMANLIKE MANNER. HOWEVER SS CAN NOT GUARANTEE THAT ALL ODORS, STAINS AND MARKS WILL BE REMOVED OR AREAS COMPLETELY FREE OF DISCOLORATION. IT IS SPECIFICALLY UNDERSTOOD THAT SS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY ACT OR DAMAGE TO CUSTOMER'S PROPERTY WHATSOEVER..... I completely understand not removing 100% of the stain, but ruining the whole carpet I do not. WHY didn't they simply test a tiny little area??? Why did they ruin the whole carpet and not once advise me there was going to be a risk it might be damaged. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? As far as "Workman Like Manner" there were so many times, from the first signing of the contract all through this process that I could have been advised there would be potential damage. Anio and his crew came, did the work and then at the end after taking payment made the comment: 'we started cleaning then saw it was down feathers, we shouldn't clean those. But we finished anyway. There may be browning because of the feathers.' We aren't experts - this was news to her. She called me and I googled it and the first thing is says about down feathers is DO NOT USE WATER. Three hours and two polite phone calls later to document the situation and no one from management has called me back, the cushions stink and have brown ribs all over them. I had to leave work and get fans to try and dry them on the patio myself. They STINK. We're incredibly disappointed, why would you keep cleaning something that you know shouldn't get wet??? We would have been happy to pay a wasted trip fee and have them leave. AND they did nothing to try to help dry them after. Brutal. This $3,000 sofa may be ruined. We'll see.

Although service was not provided by Chris's plumbing to me, this will be the co. I call in the future for any plumbing needs. I called this morning with an issue in my shower. I was not getting any cold water. The polite lady at the office gave me a fair estimate but told me I should try to adjust the cartridge on my own before I schedule an appointment. I am not handy at all but she took the time to explain the process. Well in about 10 minutes I fixed the issue on my own. It is truly refreshing that there are still companies out there that truly care about there potential clients. I called 2 other outfits before calling Chris's plumbing and not only where the estimates to do the work higher in cost but not one of the people I spoke to offered any advice. Couldn't be more pleased with their customer service! I stopped by with few expectations, was looking for a special polished brass flanged aerator for a discontinued bathroom faucet. I was truly impressed with the effort they put forth to try and locate one for me. They didn't have much luck finding one while I waited, but they said they'd get back with me. I didn't hold my breath. But lo and behold, a few days later they called me and let me know they found not just one, but two and would let me know when they arrived. I went to pick them up and they didn't even charge me for them! I was stunned. It's hard to get service like that these days. Shout out to Sean at Chris's Plumbing Service for relieving my sink at my house today! He was super professional, helpful and honest. My sink was making weird noises and occasionally getting clogged and so I called around to a few local plumbing businesses and everyone was giving me different opinions. Sean came out same day and checked out my sink and knew exactly what the problem was. I felt 100% comfortable with his decision and he even talked me through with what the problem was! He didn't try to sell or upcharge me for unnecessary parts or services. The best part of this experience was that he let my dogs help him! Read the 1 star reviews!! Don't use this company. I used Chris's Plumbing to install a new disposal and hook up a dishwasher to that same disposal. They charged $700 dollars for 3 hours of labor and parts. The tech was obviously milking time due to their hourly rate policy. They also charge you for driving to your house. $160/hour. Too easy for techs to abuse the hourly policy to the detriment of customers. Office staff gets defensive and is powerless to offer any solutions to save a repeat customer. Even tried to gaslight me that I was the one being argumentative. I've installed plenty of disposals and dishwashers myself. Doesn't take three hours to do it. I paid their bill, but, will NEVER use them again. read more

LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE. Scheduled 2 portable toilets for my event to be delivered on friday (per the city's rules), they called me on Thursday stating they are on their way. I told them we scheduled for friday and the driver said ok no problem. I get a call from their office with stating "sorry no one can deliver tomorrow". They stated, "well that wasn't me but someone else in the company so sorry". As a business owner, you must work with companies that are reliable otherwise it will directly impact your business. So because of this company my event may not happen. I am urgently looking now for replacement but don't make the same mistake I did and rely on this company. read more

I want to give a five-star rating for Chris's Plumbing and its associate, Greg, who visited my 92-yr-old friend's condo June 4th to address an issue. Greg was very thorough and patient in explaining the issue, as well as showing us video/photos (with damage sustained) from condo below where toilet leaked. Absolutely the best!! Every drain in our house clogged up early Saturday evening. If we plunged the toilet, water would flow back up the tub and shower. Nasty!! Called multiple plumbers, including Chris's. Chris's plumber arrived and went straight to work. We don't have a clean-out on the side of the house so the plumber had to go on the roof to get to a plumbing vent. He had to make multiple trips from the roof to check for success. He was here a LOOOOONG time ... but he got it cleared!! I think that other plumbers would've given up ... Not Chris's! And the fee was under $300!!! :) read more

I called to schedule an appt. and thought best case scenario might be next day, But much to my surprise they were able to schedule within a few hours. I received a call approx. 30 minutes earlier than my scheduled appt. and was told someone was working in the area and could be there in a few minutes. I had to call Chris' plumbing due to a back-up after running my dishwasher & washing machine at the same time (pipe was clogged) - made a huge mess in my laundry room. Sean came out to snake the pipe & was incredibly understanding & efficient. I found that out of much later they came over and apologize and sent a gentleman from Fort Myers. Read the first name of Kyle who I hope I haven't left put in a new stone with the walls to go with it's not level. The walls are all crooked. They he's for the plastic resident trim off the frosted window that looked into the tub and told me oh by the way, you need a second code of mud on the throw. All I put up and he didn't put the drywall all the way around and left me a mess. Left the window undone. Left the tub and done. Left the sub floors exposed. I called. Company and their manager. Chad told me on the side. I said I did not. He was a goat employee. He came to give me a quote as a goat he was here. I asked if you get replaced my busted up bathroom I was asking him as a goat employee. My common issue is the kitchen sink, which typically needs attention once per year. Otherwise, odd jobs like fixing a toilet and replacing the PVC pipe to the outside water line. Both of which were completed timely and with perfection. I've heard plumbing can be super expensive and so far I can't complain about the bills. Emergencies are always pricier, so if you can wait for an appointment I would recommend it. Nothing but pleasant experiences overall.

I called on a Tuesday, was told someone would call next day to confirm date and time they could come out. By Friday, I still had not heard from anyone. I called and they said someone could be out that day at 3pm. I called at 430pm because no one showed up. They said they had to reschedule for Monday at 10am. They arrived around 11 and sat inside the vehicle outside of my front door for nearly an hour. I called the office to find out what was going on and was told they were having lunch. Finally after 12, they knocked on the door. The problem was inspected for 5 mins and they said they had to go to Home Depot for a new filter cartridge. So I could have some idea what that part would cost, I looked on Home Depot website and it cost between fifty and eighty. They came back and it took them 5 minutes to install and 5 minutes to turn the knob and take pictures of water coming out of all 3 locations. I received the bill, if the part cost the highest at eighty, they charged me three times that costing me two fifty. I asked for a breakdown so I could understand exactly what I was paying for but the lady refused. 10 minutes of work and a part that costs eighty is NOT WORTH two fifty! As a frame of reference. We had a bad circuit breaker that went bad. The Electrician had to go to Home Depot for the part. Took 20 minutes to fix, they charged one sixty. No way the plumber should have cost one hundred more for LESS WORK. AND IF, they charge by time, I am pissed because that means they are charging me for them sitting in the truck for over an hour having lunch. UNACCEPTABLE! I will never ever use or recommend these people again.

After arriving nearly two hours after she expected them, they told her they couldn't do it without removing the toilet and it gave her a quote for over $900. She called me and I told her to send them on their way. They charged her a $200 service charge and made her feel ashamed for not going through with the job. I called another plumber I've used before and they quoted $250, so I scheduled them. When I called and spoke with Tim, he tried to explain to me how difficult of a job it would be to remove the toilet and clear the line. After questioning him, he admitted it would likely take under an hour. He then told me that he didn't quote $970 that he actually quoted $790 or something of that nature. I don't believe him over my mother and if you are willing to change your prices that quickly you know you're being unethical anyways. TIM, I'm a man of my word and I promised you a 1 star review. Stop ripping off senior citizens with your outlandish quotes.
