I brought my poodle to chrissy's when I first moved to Franklin,NH and she didn't groom my dog the way I wanted him clipped. She clipped him the way she wanted him clipped ! Not acceptable! I could've done a better job with my eyes closed and she cut him with the clippers as well. That was the first and last time my poodle went into her salon. Dogs were running all over the place while she is clipping my dog( He's terrified of large dogs!) Never again! I now have to return to Plymouth ( NH) every month so my dog can get a decent hair cut. read more

I usually bring my dog to Petco in Concord to get groomed because they do an amazing job! They were booked for 2+ weeks so I looked for other options around me, figured I would support a local business. I went to Chrissy's Paw Spa in Franklin and I am SO mad that I wasted 50$ there. The owner had 0 customer service skills. She had been completely dull and monotone when talking to her on the phone and in person. I had a negative vibe from the beginning, but I thought I would give her a chance because I didn't want to be judgmental. It was 8 am maybe she isn't a morning person? I walked in to pick my dog up and another dog was barking upon my arrival, she screamed at the other dog in the kennel, "Shut up!! We all know she is here!" I gave her a tip, and she did not even say thank you. I get home and notice that My dog has a cut on his leg !!! He is bleeding and has a slight limp. I have brought My dog to the groomers at least 10 times and he has not ONCE come home with a scratch?! Even if it was an accident (I understand accidents happen) she should have told me. To say the least, I am fuming!!! Do not waste your time or money on that place! I am usually not one to complain but this is NOT acceptable! read more

We love Chrissy! She is always kind and professional when dealing with us. I have two fur babies, a Pyr/Golden mix and a Gordon Setter/Collie mix. The Gordon hates to get her nails done, even nips the Vet, but allows Chrissy do it with ease! In fact, the vet was preparing us for having to put her under anesthesia to cut her nails back. Thank god for Chrissy and her way with my dog; we avoided unnecessary surgery. Our girls always come home looking and smelling AMAZING! We have always had excellent service from Chrissy and her staff. Are they overwhelmed at drop off at 8am, of course, who wouldn't be, especially when a handful of dogs, who have never met eachother, get barking all at once. The staff treats my babies like their own. We had previously used K-9 Klippin and suddenly my dogs would become distressed when we would arrive there. They had to be dragged in, and we're obviously terrified. I don't know what they did to my girls over there (but I suspect it had something to do with their nails and why no one but Chrissy can cut them anymore)...but when we pull in to Chrissy's, my girls drag ME in! I should also mention, that I often drop my girls off in bad shape; matted from lots of lake swimming and sometimes flea ridden (thanks to our kitties and the 'friends' they bring home) etc. Yet Chrissy takes it all in stride. My Gordon is a very mouthy/yapper and can drive anyone to drink with her high pitched barking. Chrissy may have to correct my dogs from time to time, and that's understandable, in fact, it's imperative! When dogs are introduced to a new environment, they need to know that Chrissy is the pack leader and how to behave in her 'den'. My sister-in-law is an amazing dog trainer and has always taught us this. Top notch doggy salon, caring and honest staff...I would give ten stars if I could! read more

Horrible customer service to both my daughter and her dog. The owner was rough and rude in how she handled the dog while cutting her nails. She even ended by swatting the dog on the behind and telling her to go home and learn to like getting her nails done. My daughter is a teen and was unsure of how to respond to this treatment. She did attempt to leave (offering to still pay for the full amount), but the owner said they would be done shortly and kept going. I understand dogs can become agitated while having their nails trimmed. I would assume the owner of a dog salon would have ways to cope with these situations. Yelling at the dog and making comments to my daughter that she isn't being helpful is not professional. read more
