    strawberry matcha, iced coffee matcha

I recently tried the matcha here and was really impressed. The flavor was smooth, rich, and not overly sweet, which let the natural taste of the matcha stand out. It had a nice creamy texture and tasted fresh, without any bitterness. The drink was well-balanced and refreshing, making it perfect for a quick pick-me-up. If you're a matcha fan or looking to try it for the first time, I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Christina's Donuts shop is in a mini shopping center. Parking is a little tight. The lady at the counter is so sweet. I picked up a box of donuts and donut holes. I couldn't wait to get home to eat them. Figured I'll have 1-2 donut holes, but ended eating more than 1-2. So good. The donuts are fresh -- soft and fluffy. Can't wait to have more.

Christina's is open 24/7 so why when I arrive on a weekday around 7:30AM do you have a poor selection of donuts? They did though have my go to Apple Fritter so all is well, sort of! Apple Fritter ($1.75) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/christinas-donuts-glendale?select=f6LqfB4KC4vMuAIqTRZ7KA Looks pretty good unfortunately taste wise it was just ok at best.... It needed a bit more cinnamon and vanilla https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/christinas-donuts-glendale?select=9Ouz-hW5I-Q2m-wG8z25-A and I found ZERO Apples in an Apple Fritter! It was a decent donut but an apple-less fritter fail! 2-Stars

I had gone nearby to Big Jim's first because they had a better Yelp rating but they literally had no donuts. I came here because I REALLY WANTED A DONUT! These were not the best nor were they the worst, but at least they had donuts. I ate a chocolate twist, a glazed filled with cherry filling (I squeezed out the filling) and I had a couple of bites of an apple fritter. All of the donuts were small and thin so pretty easy to chomp down a few. I did like that the chocolate glazed wasn't too sweet or heavy with chocolate flavor so if you really, really love chocolate you probably won't love this.

DON'T BUY THESE DONUTS!!! After discovering that the inside of my donut was completely raw, I called the establishment and the owner took zero responsibility for the raw donut. She accused me of lying and refused to toss out the other donuts she had on display. After reviewing their yelp page I noticed that they have numerous health code violations! I regret ever buying donuts from this place... BE AWARE!

Came here cuz I didn't know what I wanted to eat for the night. This place is just one of those local & typical sketchy donut places so don't expect much. I'm just giving a review right now cuz I felt like the milk tea smoothie I got deserves it. It tasted good; not too bad, not too good. I got it without boba too so don't apply my compliment to their boba here Lol.

(Snacked 01/13/16 W @ 1:00am): This late-night adventure with old Christina shouldn't have happened! An evening of catching up, drinking, and grubbing with a life-long friend was capped off at Christina's Donuts among the juxtposition of erected skeletons of new apartment complexes and the overpriced Americana at the intersection of Colorado St. and Brand Blvd. Truth be told, this was the second stop in my passive search for the best apple fritter (the first place we went to was sold out). Was it worth the extra effort!?: Apple Fritter ($1.50) - Not that I was an apple fritter snob - fuck it...yes I was! - but there was a certain way I liked mine. First, the price was on-par with other comparable ones I've eaten. Second, it didn't have much girth and although not the size of my face (an ode to the great Goldstar Donuts) it was the size of my hand. Third, there was a minimal amount of apple bits in each bite. Fourth, the overall deep dark brown color was appealing like a tanned beauty at the beach! It had many crunchy odd crannies, corners, and nooks which I liked to break off into small little morsels. Fifth, it had been out for awhile and not warm, and there were no hints of tiny oil pockets that leaked into your mouth and dripped down your throat; and, it had a doughy texture. All in all, I knew better than to expect a fresh fritter past midnight, but the price, size, lack of apple, and doughiness left a bad taste in my mouth. http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=a-y3NqaFIY-eAh6OPAom5w&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Glazed Twist Bar ($0.80) - I grabbed a pinch of my friend's donut just to try. It wasn't warm and truly nothing to write home about. Heck...I've wasted enough time on this already! Minute Maid Orange Juice Medium Size ($1.75) - I took a small swig of my friend's OJ. Other than pricey, what else needed to be said!? Service - There was a sole older Asian gentleman who came out from the kitchen and greeted us once we entered. He patiently waited for us to make our decisions, we chit-chatted through his broken English, paid, and sat at a table while he disappeared into the back. A pretty straightforward effort. Parking (Free) - They shared a narrow barely 16-spot private lot with about five other businesses - Yoshinoya being the largest business. Otherwise, there was metered parking on all surrounding streets (valid daily from 8:00am-8:00pm) or free at the nearby Glendale Galleria and just walk it. Atmosphere, décor, ambience - Your typical donut/drinks/sandwich stand with the main feature the counter display of fried tasty pastries as you entered http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=TZzM8bZOXjsBH-CIX_3Mkw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw, a refrigerator with cold drinks and an ATM on your right http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=9QbTdAZF-oFulVnIoH7bOA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw, a colorful and somewhat easy-to-read visual menu board above and behind the counter http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=sbWwMpnwaSmdM6nbC-HXLg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw, yet surprisingly no packaged snacks. A handful of formica tables with egg yolk-colored benches were placed about in the front and back. Soul-sucking fluorescent ceiling lighting covered this place although the large front glass walls allowed for natural lighting during the daytime. There were no TVs, but there seemed to be a radio that played from the kitchen. http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=R7_CAXD-0GMS_esbgzKWVw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Attire - Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. Overall, I wouldn't make a another date with Christina's Donuts anytime soon; I wasn't that desperate. As with most donut shops these days, they were diversified and also served bagels, croissants, muffins, sandwiches, various drinks, and I should at least try their boba in hopes for some redeeming quality. They were 24 Hours which was always a plus, but for what I wanted I didn't care for. I found decent value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $4.00; no tip required). And, CASH ONLY http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=sdY47Es_oRzBMhZYBj6LMQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw so no credit cards accepted especially mine of choice...AMEX! 2.5 STARS

Well matched to its…read moreupscale shops and the Italian restaurant next door, Delucas offers pricey, tasty sandwiches and paninis in a relaxed atmosphere. I came on a sunny Saturday afternoon; the interior is upscale, open, with products in the shelf and a menu written on the wall. I made my way to the front to placed my order, with the staff friendly, but not effusive, who made a couple suggestions at my request. I ended up getting the Fig and Pig Panini ($16), which was absolutely excellent, featuring slow-roasted pork, white cheddar cheese, and sweet pieces of fig and fig jam on thin, perfectly crispy piece of thin, toasted ciabatta bread. A perfect combination of sweet and savory, this was as good as previous Yelp reviews suggest, but was tragically quite small (see attached photo). With it I ordered an iced cappuccino ($5.25), which was good, especially with a cinnamon sprinkle on top, but quite small for the price. Unfortunately, over half of it was foam--more than expected even for a cappuccino-style drink. The interior was clean but quite busy. I had to wait about 15 minutes for my food, and the restaurant appeared somewhat understaffed, with many tables needing to be bussed and cleaned. Although I was warned of the wait and the tables were cleaned about 10 minutes in, for an upscale establishment like this, I would hope for more consistent upkeep and slightly more staff. Prices, above, are a bit elevated and somewhat disproportionate to the quantity of food provided. However, given the ritzy, popular setting, they are not entirely unreasonable. If you're looking an upscale, delicious Italian sandwich in the heart of the Glendale Galleria, you'd be hard-pressed to do better than Deluca's. For the discerning customer willing to pay a few extra dollars, you'll be very pleased with your experience here. Delizioso! Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 3.5/5

Was not expecting her to go above and beyond in providing customer service, but a smile would go a long way. For drinks, I ordered Affogato as you can see in the picture. It looks like anything but the drink I ordered. It was a Luke warm regular coffee with maybe 2% or fat free milk. Cappuccino and iced latte were good no complaints about them. For ambiance, this location is located in Americana with a nice indoor and outdoor sitting area. There is plenty of seating inside. Since it was hot, I preferred to sit outside. I am not sure maybe the day I visited this location's staff was having a bad day or something. Since everything went wrong. lol I will give them another try and will update my review . For parking, Americana parking is an option and the other option is Glendale Galleria which is a short walk.

First of all, the restaurant is located inside a poke shop, so you can easily miss it. I know I did for about 15 minutes, walking here and there and going up to the second floor since I couldn't find it. They have a logo in the window, but all the signage is for the poke shop, which shares the small place with the sandwich shop. One guy mans each restaurant from behind a counter, like a Subway sandwich shop. Well I got two sandwiches - the Americano and the Va Bene with spicy salami. Both came with a large mess of fresh mozzarella, which I know plenty of people probably love. First time I've had a huge half ball of moz on a sandwich, and I did not like it at all. It actually ruined both sandwiches as far as flavor. The better of the two was the Va Bene, though even this sandwich left little impression. It's just salami and mozzarella on a small unimpressive tiny section of bread. The size of both sandwiches is actually disappointingly small. The lesser sandwich was the Americano. It wanted to be a standard Italian deli meat grinder, but the sandwich was too small, the meats were nothing special, and the moz once again ruined everything. They offer a cheap, basic cold cut sandwich for $5.95, and if you must try this place I suggest trying this before you spend more money. Bottom line is this was a total disappointment, I didn't like my sandwiches at all, and I will not be back. Sorry, but I cannot recommend this place. The food is just sad.

It was getting late, so while I waited for the kid in the car at their activity, I went on The Heights website found an order form and placed an order for some sammies all in 5 minutes. I didn't even ask the hubs or the vegetarian kid what they wanted. I went with what I thought they'd like. 15-minutes later, I was picking the sandwiches up at the walk-in only shop. There was no line and better yet, they were wrapped up and ready to go when I walked in. The smiling lady asked if I wanted napkins or utensils. They have case after case of cold drinks so we picked out a couple of drinks, paid for those and left. It was easy and fast. Enjoyed the yumminess at home. I normally would save a half for another meal but my "Pasadena" hit the spot that I finished it up all at once. Quality bread, meats, cheese, fillings aka all the ingredients...to boot! PS the kid loved theirs and so did the hub. Thanks for making dinner: easy and delicious! There are no pictures because it was too delicious to take the time out and take any. Just order.
