Healthy, fresh meals & great service by Marie at The Americana Mendocino Farms location. It was my first time at any Mendocino location and I'm glad the lady convinced me to finally try it. She likes the Farmhouse Ranch Salad or the spicy curried couscous. On this day she got the Farmhouse with chicken. It comes with an herb dressing, avocado, chives, crisps, romaine lettuce, cucumbers and cherry tomatoes.... She was satisfied with that meal. I got the Farm Club which came with turkey, bacon, avocado, LTO on whole wheat. Sandwich was good, ingredients were fresh and I would get it again for sure. Customer service was great from a young lady named Marie. She was friendly and welcomed us and gave me suggestions on my first time there. Glad I listened to here with the club sandwich. Hmmm. A few years ago I used to think of Mendocino Farms as a premium sandwich shop with premium prices but something has changed. Quality is still there. Their prices stayed somewhat the same throughout the years while every other sandwich joint hiked their prices up. To a point that in my opinion it's actually on a slightly cheaper end now. My husband & I went to this Glendale location on Saturday and had the best experience. We were looking at the wall menu and couldn't decide what to order. Alma came over and asked if we needed help. We visited Mendocino Farms in the Americana on a weekend during lunchtime. It was really busy and there were almost no indoor seating or outdoor seating available. There was also a line to order. We waited around 10 minutes to find a seat once somebody left inside and another 10 minutes or so to get our food. The service was good, but our food came out pretty slow. The worker said that there was supposed to be a QR code on every table that you scan and they will bring the food to you, but our table was missing a QR code so we went up to the counter to get our food. I ordered a chicken pesto caprese with a side of pasta salad. The bread is crunchy and toasted, and all the ingredients are very fresh and taste high-quality. The pasta salad was pretty good as well. I liked the sandwich, but the environment of the restaurant was very crowded and cramped and the wait times were also rather inconvenient. I personally don't think I'll be visiting this location again (or at least not during meal time) because of the crowded nature of the store, but the food was pretty memorable! read more

Oddly I've never eaten at Mendocino Farms but today happened to be my introduction. The cashier helped me choose-I think her name was Isel (sorry if I got it wrong) but i grabbed the chicken pesto Caprese and it was very good! The balance of flavor was perfection! Best part was they used real chicken and not lunch meat and the pickled peppers, chefs kiss! I also tried the chocolate chip cookie thanks to another staff named Jessie. My daughter was insistent on having cookies and he was ever so kind in making that happen for her! I love Mendocino farms so it's cool to see it in the Americana. Simple menu and healthy food, I ended up getting the 1/2 Sandwich (chicken pesto caprese) and a bowl of corn chowder. Food was good and overall was just solid. A classic delicious sandwich. This location is a bit smaller than other Mendocino Farms that I've been to with only about maybe 10 seats inside. She let us know about the QR code order delivery system where you scan your phone on your table of choice and input your order number so they know which table to deliver to. Refills, napkins, utensils and additional items require the walking up experience as well as the obvious use of their facilities (aka restrooms) EATS & SIPS: I had a plant-based classic - The Impossible Taco Salad - having it in a large ceramic bowl w/ a refreshing lemonade (mendocino is known for original brews such us teas, juices and nades). My dining companion also known as bae aka my boyfriend gave one of the Chef's Creations (limited time offer items) a chance (which I'm not sure if this is location specific - I'd imagine it might be). He had the Street Corn Chicken Sandwich which he loved but was loaded with sauce that made for a messy savory meal for him. Dropped by for a quick lunch at the Americana place. The area is very clean and has a lot of sitting. The customer service is great and they bring the food to you. The food came out fast. I ended up getting the Avocado and Quinoa Superfood Ensalada and added chicken for $3.75 extra. The plate was big and very filling. This is also one of the few times when I paid for extra chicken and actually got a decent amount of chicken and not just a few pieces. However recently I decided to try it because it was a spot that didn't seem too busy when walking around the Americana in Glendale. I'm so glad I did give it a chance because I would've missed out on this great restaurant. Service was pretty quick and the food was very wholesome and healthy.i also loved their juice options especially the green juice. I find feel bad when I eat their food or sandwiches. I came hear in July of 2023. It was their opening weekend and it was crazy busy. A ton of impatient customers fighting over tables even before placing their orders. In all that chaos, one employee stood out. A young lady who was very kind and patient despite all the rude customers. I thought to my self that she'd most likely turn in her resignation the next day.
