    Chicken Pesto Caprese

Hmmm. A few years ago I used to think of Mendocino Farms as a premium sandwich shop with premium prices but something has changed. Quality is still there. Their prices stayed somewhat the same throughout the years while every other sandwich joint hiked their prices up. To a point that in my opinion it's actually on a slightly cheaper end now. I mean it's kind of the same price as Subway, which is crazy. Everything I have tried tastes pretty good and was enjoyable. Also on the healthier side. Next time you want a sandwich give it a try, I really don't think you'll regret it.

MY NEW OBSESSION... let me move in here & pack my bags immediately because HELLO?!? THE FOOD, SERVICE, ENERGY WAS EXTREMELY IMMACULATE. * absolutely loved loved loved the quinoa avacado salad & i had to get the vegan chorizo! * in addition, i got the pesto pasta on the side which healed a part of me that i was missing. * also, i took a bite from my bf & tried the steak sandwich and it was very delicious as well! luckily, we got a table because there's a lot of people that sit down & eat here depending on the day.

We visited Mendocino Farms in the Americana on a weekend during lunchtime. It was really busy and there were almost no indoor seating or outdoor seating available. There was also a line to order. We waited around 10 minutes to find a seat once somebody left inside and another 10 minutes or so to get our food. The service was good, but our food came out pretty slow. The worker said that there was supposed to be a QR code on every table that you scan and they will bring the food to you, but our table was missing a QR code so we went up to the counter to get our food. I ordered a chicken pesto caprese with a side of pasta salad. The bread is crunchy and toasted, and all the ingredients are very fresh and taste high-quality. The pasta salad was pretty good as well. I liked the sandwich, but the environment of the restaurant was very crowded and cramped and the wait times were also rather inconvenient. I personally don't think I'll be visiting this location again (or at least not during meal time) because of the crowded nature of the store, but the food was pretty memorable!

Sandwiches are pretty big and very fresh. I got the Turkey Avo Salsa Verde sandwich. The veggies taste great and ingredients are a flavor explosion. I would like to try the salad next time. Service is friendly and very quick. It's busy, but they still clean tables after each guest leaves to ensure tables are clean for the next guest. Really good ambiance and setting! I can't wait to come back for lunch another time.

This was such a yummy treat! It is in the Americana at Brand. First time there- so good! It's very quaint. Sandwich, soup, salad, and kids menu! There was something for everyone!

I love Mendocino farms so it's cool to see it in the Americana. Simple menu and healthy food, I ended up getting the 1/2 Sandwich (chicken pesto caprese) and a bowl of corn chowder. Food was good and overall was just solid. A classic delicious sandwich. This location is a bit smaller than other Mendocino Farms that I've been to with only about maybe 10 seats inside. When I came on Sunday at 12 there were still plenty of seats but the crowd started to come in around 12:30. Overall, good healthy food for reasonable prices.

A year in the life of Mendocino Farms at the Americana at Brand has arrived and I finally was able to stop in this location and try the full M.F. Glendale version experience. Bright cafe styled casual convenient dine in or take out cino fun begins when you pass their small quaint outdoor patio into modern kitchen comfort farm style decor - signature whites, blues and warm wood wrapping about and making up the ultimate "Eat Happy" meal you never knew you needed. SERVICE: The person who rang us up was really warm, but mellow at the same time. She let us know about the QR code order delivery system where you scan your phone on your table of choice and input your order number so they know which table to deliver to. Refills, napkins, utensils and additional items require the walking up experience as well as the obvious use of their facilities (aka restrooms) EATS & SIPS: I had a plant-based classic - The Impossible Taco Salad - having it in a large ceramic bowl w/ a refreshing lemonade (mendocino is known for original brews such us teas, juices and nades). My dining companion also known as bae aka my boyfriend gave one of the Chef's Creations (limited time offer items) a chance (which I'm not sure if this is location specific - I'd imagine it might be). He had the Street Corn Chicken Sandwich which he loved but was loaded with sauce that made for a messy savory meal for him. A nice passion fruit black tea to go with it all was just the right pairing on a warm summer day. We definitely "ate happy" and had those big post lunch smiles from good meals. Sides were considered, but with their vegan version of the potato salad no longer being available and the Spicy Curried Couscous being just okay I was plenty good. The kale & rainbow salad would go great with my guy's sandwich, but you often forget about sides due to them not being included with meals at more fast style eateries like M. Farms. Will be back for a second time to Mendocino Farms on Brand, my bf has been more than once (definitely a fan).

I drove for a few seconds around the corner and parked on the street and walked over to the Verdugo Dairy lot which is where the Nickos Sandwich Truck is located. The truck is so cute and small and fits perfectly in the lot without taking up too much space. I looked at the menu and honestly all the sandwiches looked so good that it was hard to just choose one, but I wanted breakfast so I went with the Plain Breakfast Sandwich. I was asked how I want my egg cooked and I chose sunny side up. Options for cheese were swiss or provolone and I couldn't decide and I was able to get a slice of both on my sandwich! I also ordered a bread pudding on the side. After ordering I was given a little buzzer that would go off when my food is ready. I hung out and didn't wait too long until my buzzer went off and it was a nice loud beeping that would be easy to hear if I had left it in my pocket. After the food is ready then you pay. When I went back to my car and I couldn't help myself I ripped open the bag and I was in awe of my sandwich. Look at my photos, do you see that melty stretch of cheese that is so perfect??????????? The brioche bun is soft and fluffy, the egg seasoned with salt and pepper perfectly and cooked to perfection, and the cheese is stretchy and gooey and so delicious. Was I licking the wrapper when I was done? Maybe! If I could give more than 5 stars for my sandwich I would! I love me a banana pudding and I thought I was going to wait to eat it at home, however I could not control myself I popped it open and I gobbled it down. So creamy and delicious with just the right amount of crumbled nilla wafers. I am not in Glendale too often, but you can bet that when I am, I'll be stopping by again! Well matched to its…read moreupscale shops and the Italian restaurant next door, Delucas offers pricey, tasty sandwiches and paninis in a relaxed atmosphere. I came on a sunny Saturday afternoon; the interior is upscale, open, with products in the shelf and a menu written on the wall. I made my way to the front to placed my order, with the staff friendly, but not effusive, who made a couple suggestions at my request. I ended up getting the Fig and Pig Panini ($16), which was absolutely excellent, featuring slow-roasted pork, white cheddar cheese, and sweet pieces of fig and fig jam on thin, perfectly crispy piece of thin, toasted ciabatta bread. A perfect combination of sweet and savory, this was as good as previous Yelp reviews suggest, but was tragically quite small (see attached photo). With it I ordered an iced cappuccino ($5.25), which was good, especially with a cinnamon sprinkle on top, but quite small for the price. Unfortunately, over half of it was foam--more than expected even for a cappuccino-style drink. The interior was clean but quite busy. I had to wait about 15 minutes for my food, and the restaurant appeared somewhat understaffed, with many tables needing to be bussed and cleaned. Although I was warned of the wait and the tables were cleaned about 10 minutes in, for an upscale establishment like this, I would hope for more consistent upkeep and slightly more staff. Prices, above, are a bit elevated and somewhat disproportionate to the quantity of food provided. However, given the ritzy, popular setting, they are not entirely unreasonable. If you're looking an upscale, delicious Italian sandwich in the heart of the Glendale Galleria, you'd be hard-pressed to do better than Deluca's. For the discerning customer willing to pay a few extra dollars, you'll be very pleased with your experience here. Delizioso! Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 3.5/5

The service is quick and amicable as well. Not too expensive either. I really enjoy their salads especially! I ordered the Julia's Tuna salad, which was super tasty. I recommend ordering the dressing on the side, since the tuna is already pretty salty. The eggs are jammy and the greens are the perfect pairing. Their tomatoes are also especially sweet. I have also tried the Lorri sandwich, which uses an eggplant cutlet to imitate meat. The balsamic flavor is pretty heavy on that one, since the tomatoes really soak up the sweetness. Definitely tasty! Pretty messy sandwich to eat though, especially with the broccolini. Overall, highly recommend trying Ggiata's out. I didn't even ask the hubs or the vegetarian kid what they wanted. I went with what I thought they'd like. 15-minutes later, I was picking the sandwiches up at the walk-in only shop. There was no line and better yet, they were wrapped up and ready to go when I walked in. The smiling lady asked if I wanted napkins or utensils. The packaging was cute, but that's about where the positives ended. The bread-to-filling ratio was way off, leaving the sandwich feeling mostly bread despite how thin they advertised it. The tuna tasted like low-quality bumble bee canned chunk light tuna, and the pesto felt like an odd addition that didn't really work for me (though I know everyone's taste is different). Overall, between the atmosphere, food quality, portion size, and price, I just don't think it's worth it. Even though I really enjoyed the smoothie, I can't justify spending $30 for this experience.
