I got sent a coupon for this Italian specialty sandwich shop, which I had bookmarked for a long time. I thought it was going to be something special. It was anything but. First of all, the restaurant is located inside a poke shop, so you can easily miss it. I know I did for about 15 minutes, walking here and there and going up to the second floor since I couldn't find it. They have a logo in the window, but all the signage is for the poke shop, which shares the small place with the sandwich shop. One guy mans each restaurant from behind a counter, like a Subway sandwich shop. Well I got two sandwiches - the Americano and the Va Bene with spicy salami. Both came with a large mess of fresh mozzarella, which I know plenty of people probably love. First time I've had a huge half ball of moz on a sandwich, and I did not like it at all. It actually ruined both sandwiches as far as flavor. The better of the two was the Va Bene, though even this sandwich left little impression. It's just salami and mozzarella on a small unimpressive tiny section of bread. The size of both sandwiches is actually disappointingly small. The lesser sandwich was the Americano. It wanted to be a standard Italian deli meat grinder, but the sandwich was too small, the meats were nothing special, and the moz once again ruined everything. They offer a cheap, basic cold cut sandwich for $5.95, and if you must try this place I suggest trying this before you spend more money. Bottom line is this was a total disappointment, I didn't like my sandwiches at all, and I will not be back. Sorry, but I cannot recommend this place. The food is just sad. read more

I've been on a hunt for good local sandwich place for my lunch breaks, so I'm very glad I stumbled upon Si Roma. I got the Si Roma Deluxe, which was honestly hard not to love (prosciutto, stracciatella, and grilled peaches) with confusingly low prices for how fresh their ingredients are. Their Sicilian sodas are also super unique and refreshing. Service was fast, but also homey and friendly. It caught me by surprise to be asked if I wanted my sandwich remade fresh (even though I had only ordered it online no more than half an hour ago). Their level of care for your experience was above and beyond, and really made this place shine. It's a little tricky to find, but you can park in the free 90-min parking structure on Artsakh, and walk thru the shopping alley until you see the signs of Pokitomik. They are located in Pokitomik! Parking was easy in the garage behind with the first 90 mins free. We were greeted with a friendly face. I didn't catch his name but he was really nice and even gave us a sample without us asking. Had a homey feel to the place with pictures around the restaurant. I got the si Roma deluxe. I really liked the sweet and salty taste that the peaches bring to the sandwich. I just wish there was more stracciatella spread evenly to offset the saltiness of the prosciutto. For combos you can get chips from the baskets and drinks are in the refrigerators. We also got the cannoli and it was the first time I tired a cannoli. It was really good. Loved this sandwich spot from the very beginning, we used to go when they were food truck. What initially stood out most was the bread and the peaches in their sandwich. This was their twist on savory and sweet. We were excited that they finally opened a brick and mortar location. I ordered my usual sandwich from years past, but sadly something was definetly noticibly different. What differed first off all was the bread, it was not soft and chewy, rather it was a little burnt and slightly hard. I couldn't believe that the bread alone made the sandwich, but it did. They have a simple menu and friendly service. During my visit, the ambiance was pretty chill. I came a little later in the afternoon so it wasn't busy at all. I was able to sit down at the table and enjoy my sandwich in a relaxed atmosphere. I ended up ordering the Hungry Terrone combo. This sandwich had pistachio mortadella in it and it sounded delicious. I'm happy to say that the sandwich was indeed really delicious and it had a nice crunch and texture. Great ratio on all the ingredients as well. Made to order sandwiches with the freshest bread, meats, cheeses, vegetables, and spreads, piled sky high! One sandwich could easily be shared between two people! We tried four sandwiches here, the americano, si roma, hungry something and the turkey one. They were all good but the whole family agreed the americano was the winner! We came home craving the sandwich that's how delicious it was. The place is kinda hard to find because they have no sign. The poke place is si roma. Two in one shop but don't let that scare you away the sandwiches were good. I think the place is still in the works cause the smell of burnt bread was strong and they do not have proper ventilation. Their website says that it consists of "Prosciutto Di Parma on A Toasted Italian Baguette With Homemade Pesto, Sicilian Pecorino Cheese, Signature Tomato Mix, And Sweet Peaches." The sweet peaches really tied the flavors all together. I love that the baguette was toasted as it added a crunch dimension to the sandwich.
