I'm here to rave about this Italian sandwich spot. I've been to the Americana countless times, and the fact that this was my first time trying it is honestly upsetting. The sandwiches are delicious absolutely delicious. We ordered the Panini Deluca and the Bird & Brie. The Deluca had just the right amount of spice, while the Bird & Brie with green apples and fig spread was one of the most amazing flavor combinations I've had in a sandwich. They were sold out of the pistachio spread, but that just gives me a reason to come back next time. Service was fairly okay; we waited about 15-20 minutes for our order to arrive. Overall, definitely a spot I'll be returning to for more sandwiches.

The ambiance was great both inside and outside. The baked goods looked amazing too! I studied their menu that was written on the wall and narrowed it down to 2 choices : pulled pork sandwich and the fig and pig. I asked the lady working the cash register and she said the pulled pork sandwich is spicy and fig and pig is sweet and savory. I like spicy food so I went with the pulled pork sandwich. The sandwich turned out to be like a meat ball sub flavor wise. It was not spicy at all. In fact, it lacked spice and overall flavor. It tasted one note: tomato sauce. I later talked to a server and he said the pulled pork sandwich is not spicy at all and next time I can ask them to add a spicy aioli. I also found the meat to be really fatty. Overall, it didn't taste like a gourmet sandwich and lacked layers. I also got an oat milk iced latte . It was average. Despite the artisan vibes and good-looking pastries and descriptions, the sandwich and coffee were both a let down.

It was one of the weekends, the grove was so busy, this deli was also busy.. We had hot chocolate, and a Polio Alla Griglia- chicken. The chicken was so so dry.. and was very bland. It was very disappointing. Hot chocolate was just okay, the chocolate quality was very poor. I don't know how this place still exists.

A Symphony Between Two Slices of Bread If heaven had a deli, it would taste exactly like this. These Italian sandwiches aren't just meals--they're masterpieces. The balance is impeccable--nothing too salty, too oily, or overpowering. Just real ingredients, thoughtfully layered and bursting with bold, authentic flavor. The tomatoes? Sun-kissed. The meat? Thinly sliced with reverence. Even the pickled peppers were perfectly tangy, adding that zing you didn't know you needed. It's the kind of sandwich that ruins all other sandwiches. One bite in, and you're already planning your return trip.

A perfect sandwich spot for a warm day at the Americana. It was my first visit, and I appreciated how the salumieres are slicing fresh meats and cheeses right as you walk in... everything looked (and tasted) super fresh. I had the Prosciutto Stracciatella sandwich with imported Parma, tomatoes, arugula, stracciatella cheese, balsamic glaze, and house-made pesto on a toasted baguette. The prosciutto and stracciatella pairing was next-level... so flavorful. Not a huge sandwich, but shareable. My date agreed the bread was toasted perfectly and the ingredients were top-notch. Service was friendly, and the setup is casual... order at the counter and eat at your own pace. The vibe was relaxed, and everyone around us seemed just as into their food. Definitely coming back for another fresh sandwich next time I'm at the Americana. I recommend it. Cheers!

Sándwich takes me back to memory lane, during springtime trips to NYC! I had the Figs and Pigs, roasted pork, cheddar cheese, homemade fig butter and mixed greens in ciabatta bread. Warm, soft and melt in your mouth pork. I don't need anything else! Service is fast and polite staff. It's community table so feel free to strike a conversation with your table mates!

Local fancy deli at the Americana. They have tons of sandwiches and Italian foods from pasta, soups, appetizers, and desserts. The place reminds me of a small market of specialty foods. The service is ok and they are helpful. The sandwiches are good and definitely worth it. I love their pastries selection and the little things that I can get in Europe from chocolates and etc. this is a definitely worth a try

It was pretty warm outside last night at the Americana, and I wanted something that wasn't hot. So, I stopped at Deluca's to give a them a try. This is my first time ever going to this deli. I ordered the Panino Prosciutto e mozzarella sandwich. Which was delicious and refreshing. On my sandwich was fresh mozzarella, imported prosciutto with sun dried tomatoes on a toasted baguette. The bread was light and crispy with every bite I was able to taste everything on my sandwich. I must say it was pretty good. I also, had a side order of the Insalata quinoa salad with , red onions, white quinoa, edamame, toasted almonds, chopped kale and a lemon dressing. I really liked the ideas of the salad. However, there wasn't enough t dressing for the amount I was served and had no flavor to the salad. I was a little disappointed because it did look pretty good be good the glass. Last but not least, I had a Pellegrino with my meal. The ambiance was pretty good, felt a lot like Italy inside the store. I also noticed they have baked good as well for this who have a sweet tooth. When you order you will need to know what you want. I felt like i was a bit rushed for my first time. I wanted some suggestions , but I totally understand they are busy. I will give this place another chance and maybe before I go to the cashier, I will ask who maybe at the counter to help with suggestions.

I drove for a few seconds around the corner and parked on the street and walked over to the Verdugo Dairy lot which is where the Nickos Sandwich Truck is located. The truck is so cute and small and fits perfectly in the lot without taking up too much space. I looked at the menu and honestly all the sandwiches looked so good that it was hard to just choose one, but I wanted breakfast so I went with the Plain Breakfast Sandwich. I was asked how I want my egg cooked and I chose sunny side up. Options for cheese were swiss or provolone and I couldn't decide and I was able to get a slice of both on my sandwich! I also ordered a bread pudding on the side. After ordering I was given a little buzzer that would go off when my food is ready. I hung out and didn't wait too long until my buzzer went off and it was a nice loud beeping that would be easy to hear if I had left it in my pocket. After the food is ready then you pay. When I went back to my car and I couldn't help myself I ripped open the bag and I was in awe of my sandwich. Look at my photos, do you see that melty stretch of cheese that is so perfect??????????? The brioche bun is soft and fluffy, the egg seasoned with salt and pepper perfectly and cooked to perfection, and the cheese is stretchy and gooey and so delicious. Was I licking the wrapper when I was done? Maybe! If I could give more than 5 stars for my sandwich I would! I love me a banana pudding and I thought I was going to wait to eat it at home, however I could not control myself I popped it open and I gobbled it down. So creamy and delicious with just the right amount of crumbled nilla wafers. I am not in Glendale too often, but you can bet that when I am, I'll be stopping by again! Thank you Nickos for an amazing and satisfying breakfast!

Just found this place through Instagram ads and decided to give it a try. Just for information,…read moretheir working hours are 9 AM-9 PM, 7 days a week. I mentioned this because we missed it on one of our attempts. Finally, on Sunday evening, my husband and I had a chance to visit Butcher and Booze. Very interesting store, with a delicious smell. There is a huge section of drinks where you can find very unique wines and alcoholic beverages. They also have a section of Japanese drinks, and in another corner, different kinds of unique seasonings, BBQ charcoal, and other BBQ supplies. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Next to the drinks section, there are several tables available indoors and two tables on the sidewalk for outdoor dining to enjoy your meals. Their food menu is very interesting, and we tried the Philly cheesesteak and pastrami sandwiches (which they prepare completely in-house from A to Z). The sandwiches were super delicious, juicy, and full of flavor. One thing that surprised me was the amount of salt they used -- it was exactly the right amount, and we didn't get thirsty after eating them. These sandwiches are some of the best we've tried so far, and I highly recommend giving them a try. I noticed a huge samovar (large kettle) and another kettle in the corner of the open kitchen, and I asked about them. Argisht, who noticed my interest and who I believe is behind the kitchen and the delicious food success there, started a very warm and helpful conversation with us and surprised us by serving cups of tea. The tea tasted super soft and delicious. If you have ever tried Middle Eastern tea, you will love this tea. Luckily, they are selling it in the store, if I am not wrong it was Sri Lanka tea, which I have never seen in any store around Glendale or Burbank. Thank you for the great food, awesome store, and very positive and friendly service. With just one visit, Butcher and Booze will become one of your usual spots, so don't miss it!

We came here on Christmas Eve hoping to try their sandwiches but to also buy some meat as a white elephant gift. First off we were greeted warmly by the staff - not just the cashier but every staff member working behind the counter. On top of that, they gave us a shot of cognac for my husband and I to try. We decided to try buy some wagyu burger patties for the white elephant (we ended up winning these back during our white elephant - they were excellent!). The patties were juicy, rich, and so tasty! Can't wait to try other cuts! When we checked out, they offered us two small complimentary bottles of champagne and some produce from their refrigerated area. this was so kind of them to do so. This place is like your one stop shop - hot food, butcher, alcoholic drinks, liquor, and other cooking goods like seasonings, caviar, butter etc. Unfortunately they were not serving sandwhiches that day so we didn't get to try but we will definitely be coming back to try! Thanks so much to the staff and Butcher and Booze for treating us like fam.
