For starters, the business hours at this office are not convenient, if you work a day job. Their hours: Monday - Wednesday from 8:30 til 5pm & Thursday 8:30 to 4pm. So you will most likely miss work, if you need to go here and you work a day job.
Secondly, getting work done takes way too long. After going to Dr. Ressler multiple times I decided to move on. Partly because it seems uncommon for her to do more than one filling per appointment, for some reason, (so, like me, you'll probably be making multiple appointments if you need to have multiple fillings done).
Thirdly, she doesn't do root canals, and you must be referred to a specialist for that. This is not a one-stop-shop dentist.
I started going to Dr. Ressler because I hadn't been to a dentist in a while and, though I wasn't having any tooth pain, I knew that I had cavities that needed filling. When I switched dentists 2 months later, I needed multiple root canals and had tooth pain on almost every tooth that Dr. Ressler had worked on. She ended up doing 3 fillings and a pulpal debridement on me before I realized that I needed to find a new dentist.
On one filling, she went down too far and hit the roots, then told me that I probably won't have that tooth for the rest of my life(!). Another of the teeth that she filled ended up cracking about two weeks ago and needed a root canal.
When I got to my new dentist, she looked at two of the fillings done by Dr. Ressler and said "those are big fillings", because Dr. Ressler had hollowed out so much of my tooth that there is almost nothing but filling there. One of those is the tooth that I mentioned above that cracked and the other is the one that Dr. Ressler said I'd be losing eventually. These two teeth were also filled incorrectly by Dr. Ressler, causing my bite to be off and giving me headaches until my new dentist fixed them, AND these two teeth were actually "glued" together by whatever chemicals they used to fill the second tooth. I couldn't even floss between those two teeth until my new dentist got them separated.
I didn't want to post such a negative review because Dr. Ressler was very nice, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't tell other prospective patients of hers about what happened to me. I went to her because of the 4/5 star Yelp reviews I read while searching for a dentist and I definitely didn't have a 4/5 star experience, that's all I know. read more
