I am so grateful to have found this little salon via Yelp. The reviews convinced me that Vivian was…read morethe woman I wanted to help with my two daughters bi-racial hair. Vivian is honest and thorough. She did a fantastic job with both kids, but the way my oldest finally relaxed and enjoyed getting her hair done was the best feeling. She was truly proud of her hair style and enjoyed the process. Thank you Vivian!!!

Wow..... I have…read morevisited Vivian before and was really happy with my service. I proceeded to try and book again and was met with a very head scratching experience. I made an appointment which I thought was agreed upon on both sides, when I arrived I saw someone else already in the chair. I was told that I didn't confirm the appointment so it was given to someone else. I was given the option to come back but I declined and left. Vivian called me back later to apologize and offer another appointment the next day to which I agreed to. The next day, two minutes before my appointment was to start, I receive a text stating that she's 30 minutes late. I told her to text me when she's there because I'm close. 45 minutes later I receive a text of, "I'm here....." No apology or explanation. I reply that she's 45 minutes late and that I decline to come and to take care. She responds...."sweet....take care as well". I am really shocked at the whole situation because I have visited her before with no issues. The fact that you can shrug your shoulders and be dismissive of a client lets me know that I'm not a valued customer and my business is not needed or wanted.

I was diagnosed with Atopic Psoriasis after one year of pain, misery, and desperation, trying every…read morecure possible, from mainstream medicine (steroids) to every quack remedy under the sun. My psoriasis was spreading. I was desperate to find help. I found Dermatology of Seattle and Burien. I made an appointment with Alison Stinnett, PA-C, who took one quick look at my legs and pronounced, "You have eczema." I replied, "No. I have atopic psoriasis," three dermatologists had given me this diagnosis. No, she said, you have eczema. I will prescribe Halobetasol. Come back in two weeks, and you will be cured. I didn't believe Alison, but I dutifully went to the pharmacy and started treatment. I WAS CURED. Alison immediately recognized my sores as easily cured eczema, prescribed the correct medicine, and instructed me on how to apply the medicine and the cream. I am so grateful to have found a competent provider. Hallelujah! What an excellent start to 2025! Thank you, Alison!!! PS... very easy parking and no WAITING!

I usually don't write bad reviews, as I tend to give people grace, but unfortunately, my experience…read morehere has been nothing short of terrible. Don't get me wrong--everyone I interacted with was nice. But the execution of my procedure and the follow-up care were, frankly, a disaster. I came in for what should have been a relatively straightforward lipoma excision. The procedure itself was quick, but nearly everything afterward went wrong. 1. I developed a hematoma after the procedure. After the surgery, the nurse did not place a proper pressure bandage over the excision area. By the next day, I had developed a significant hematoma and had to spend much of the day at urgent care having the blood drained. What should have been a healing process of a few weeks turned into more than four months. I also had to seek additional treatment, including steroid injections for swelling that would not go away, at my own expense. At my follow-up, the nurse simply gave me a "sorry." Thanks...I guess? 2. They lost my biopsy sample. At my one-week follow-up, the dermatology center manager sat me down and informed me that they had lost the biopsy sample that was supposed to be sent to the lab. Because of this, I had to spend even more of my own time and money getting an ultrasound to further evaluate the area. 3. The lipoma was not completely removed. After everything I went through, the excision apparently did not remove the entire lipoma. Within four months, I was left with a lump that was actually larger than it was before the original procedure, and I ultimately needed to pursue another surgery. I understand that complications can happen with any medical procedure. What I find unacceptable is having a complication, a lost biopsy sample, and an incomplete excision all occur during the same experience. I have genuinely never experienced so many things going wrong with one relatively straightforward procedure. Being friendly is appreciated, but it does not make up for failures in execution and follow-up care. Based on my experience, I believe this practice seriously needs to review its procedures and staff training. I ultimately decided to go to Dr. Samson Lee in Issaquah for my second surgery. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated that what should have been a simple procedure turned into months of additional appointments, expenses, and another surgery.
