I had the absolute best experience I've ever had getting my hair done with Christopher. I initially went in for a root touch up after searching on Yelp for a highly recommended hair stylist. The job ended up to be a color correction/root touch up and haircut. Christopher took the time to consider what I needed and was intentional about discussing those options with me. He stayed late into the evening to make sure to give me exactly what I needed (a few weeks ago I went elsewhere for a root touch up and hair cut that was poorly done). I've had long, dark hair most of my life and always dreamed of playing with lighter shades. He listened to what I wanted, and made me look beautiful without the makeup looking or feeling too heavy. I'm one of those typical 9-to-5 guys who works in an office and has been going to the same barber year after year. It was a good routine, as my barber always did a phenomenal job; I got compliments from strangers whenever I left the shop. Over the last 6 months, I decided to add some length to my hair (shorter on the sides, with 3 to 5 inches on top). While my barber continued to do a good job, he struggled to help me find a look that would make me stand out from all the bearded hipsters with Pomade side-parts. Longer hair just wasn't his expertise. At the behest of my girlfriend, she told me to ditch the barbershop and try out a stylist. After spending a million hours scanning San Diego yelp reviews, I finally decided on Christopher. It was the best decision ever. From the moment I walked in, I felt at complete ease with Christopher. He's an extremely charismatic guy who is really great at listening; I showed him a few pictures of what I was going for and he absolutely nailed it. He took his time, made sure I was comfortable as we progressed through the cut, and even educated me on how to maintain a healthy head of hair. I had no idea! After an hour (including a shampoo and facial, all for $35!), I left the salon feeling like Brad Pitt. Christopher is EXTREMELY talented and an absolute master of his craft.
