The staff have always been very friendly once you are being worked on, but don't count on your appointment being on time. On one occasion I was sitting in a chair waiting for a cleaning and one dentist saw that I was there and for some reason insisted that I was their patient and removed me from the calendar of the other dentist. So I got to sit and wait for the dentist to finish with someone else rather than who I was scheduled to see. Today I was there 10 minutes early for my appointment, an appointment that they confirmed 4 times via text, so I know they knew the time. 20 minutes after the scheduled start of the cleaning, they let me know they were ready for me. I had already left 5 minutes prior. So if you want all the bells and whistles and don't care about a schedule, these folks are a great fit. Otherwise, use a dentist that actually respects your time.

When I attended my follow-up appointment and raised genuine concerns about seeing no improvement, the response was shocking -- instead of listening, the dentist immediately went on the defensive and began blaming me. When I pushed back, she told me to stop treatment if I wasn't happy. I took her up on that -- and that's when things got worse. There was zero attempt to understand my concerns, ask questions, or salvage the situation. The dentist didn't engage at all. Instead, she sent her admin to collect $2,100 for a treatment I would not be receiving, and had me sign a document stating I was "voluntarily terminating" the agreement. I paid, expressed that the experience was deeply unprofessional, and left. What happened next says everything. I received a call from their office offering me a partial refund of half my money -- but only if I agreed not to post a review. That is not how ethical healthcare practices operate. Patient concerns shouldn't come with a price tag for silence. If you're considering this practice for your dental needs know that if things go wrong, accountability here is not guaranteed. I wish I had known what I know now.

We have NEVER had an appointment scheduled 6 months in advance honored. #2 - At every single visit they try to upsell expensive dental procedures to me and my husband which we find incredibly irritating, but we always politely decline. At my last visit for my 6-month cleaning, the hygienist spent an hour telling me I have advanced periodontal disease (which was not the case 6 months prior) and that I now require a super deep cleaning involving periodontal scaling and root planing!! I was skeptical that my dental health had suddenly and so rapidly declined that I stated I'd like a 2nd opinion before I move forward to such a treatment. THE DENTIST REFUSED TO CLEAN MY TEETH saying I no longer qualified for a general cleaning because of my diagnosis! Then, she wanted me to sign a form stating I was refusing treatment. I didn't sign a damn thing and bolted out of the office telling them we would NEVER go back. I went to a new dentist today and, low and behold, she told me I have perfectly healthy teeth and gums with some minor bone loss to be mindful of, but not requiring periodontal scaling and root planing!! I am planning to file a complaint with the NC State Board of Dental Examiners.

I mentioned 2023 was when we moved out of state and yes she is still our dentist because we feel that confident in her abilities that we will travel the 500 plus miles now twice a year to see her!
