When I attended my follow-up appointment and raised genuine concerns about seeing no improvement, the response was shocking -- instead of listening, the dentist immediately went on the defensive and began blaming me. When I pushed back, she told me to stop treatment if I wasn't happy. I took her up on that -- and that's when things got worse. There was zero attempt to understand my concerns, ask questions, or salvage the situation. The dentist didn't engage at all. Instead, she sent her admin to collect $2,100 for a treatment I would not be receiving, and had me sign a document stating I was "voluntarily terminating" the agreement. I paid, expressed that the experience was deeply unprofessional, and left. What happened next says everything. I received a call from their office offering me a partial refund of half my money -- but only if I agreed not to post a review. That is not how ethical healthcare practices operate. Patient concerns shouldn't come with a price tag for silence. If you're considering this practice for your dental needs know that if things go wrong, accountability here is not guaranteed. I wish I had known what I know now.

The team moved heaven and earth to make me multiple appointments in a short couple day period so I could come in town for a long weekend a day early and get most everything done. On all of my visits, they require the patient to pay their higher Usual and Customary Fees as opposed to their contractually obligated in-network PPO fees. Refunds are made down the line to square the account but in the interim, the patient has forked over significantly higher dollar amounts. Why should the patients serve as their bank? I pushed back on this practice and was met with arrogance, smugness and general ugliness. The billing personnel clearly did not display any interest in understanding how the in-network PPO reimbursement worked. They even threatened to withhold treatment until I acquiesced to their higher fee payment request. It's a shameful way to treat patients and a black eye for such talented dentists and hygienists.

I had a hygienist that I hadn't met before. Everything went well and I scheduled another appointment for 8/14/19, which happens to be today. (2/26/20) Today I'm having a crown installed and some cavities filled as well. I gave the receptionists my remaining stash of Lindt truffles. I guess that business is picking up as there is another patient waiting here with me. I got some laser treatments on the cavities and some admonishments about my brushing technique. I think that having 4 cavities filled and the crown fitted lasted about 2.5 hours. One more crown to go to exhaust the insurance for this year.

The staff have always been very friendly once you are being worked on, but don't count on your appointment being on time. On one occasion I was sitting in a chair waiting for a cleaning and one dentist saw that I was there and for some reason insisted that I was their patient and removed me from the calendar of the other dentist. So I got to sit and wait for the dentist to finish with someone else rather than who I was scheduled to see. Today I was there 10 minutes early for my appointment, an appointment that they confirmed 4 times via text, so I know they knew the time. 20 minutes after the scheduled start of the cleaning, they let me know they were ready for me. I had already left 5 minutes prior. So if you want all the bells and whistles and don't care about a schedule, these folks are a great fit. Otherwise, use a dentist that actually respects your time.
