The pain is absolutely mind blowing to the point where I have considered ending it all. My doctor has tried everything to treat my condition and has referred me to many specialists. Although some progress has been made I'm not anywhere near healed. As we all know and have experienced as patients in the health care system after a visit with a provider more often than not we leave feeling like another name and number on a chart hoping that the next prescription or specialist will help. I went from being a middle aged man able to work to now being in a wheelchair. Recently I was referred to Professional Home Healthcare Services. I was assigned a RN named Jasmine who is a wound care specialist. I have had several such nurses in the past but they don't even compare to Jasmine. She is a utterly fantastic nurse. By this I mean that she is truly professional, compassionate, genuinely concerned and caring too. She takes the time to talk to you, educate and offer advice and discuss treatment options. She has done everything possible to protect me from any kind of exposure and cross contamination during her visits with me as she treats my wounds and dresses them. She really loves what she does and it shows. She is the only health care provider that has been able to make significant progress with treating my condition and my wounds are slowly beginning to heal and close to the point now where I am able to stand up and walk short distances with a walker. No body has been able to do that for me! Jasmine has been a God send to me. She takes the time to call me during her time off just to check up on me. When is the last time a provider called you on their on time off just to see if you are ok?? Professional Home Healthcare Services is so lucky to have such a incredible RN and wonderful woman working for them. It's not often that you find a RN provider like Jasmine. Her professionalism, compassion, concern, ability to truly connect with her patients and instill hope in their healing process is remarkable. Her positive attitude and understanding of what I've been through has given me a new outlook and seeing the remarkable improvements in my health and wounds is directly because of her. I was scared out of my mind, and she did nothing but make me feel worse after each appointment. I decided to seek out an alternative, which led me to CSV Cancer Center. I was lucky enough to get Dr. Ali as my new medical oncologist. He is absolutely amazing. Brilliant, kind, warm, he treats you like a fellow human being, not like just another name to check off on the chart. He listens and answers all of my questions with patience, knowledge, and even some humor. All of this is so appreciated when you're facing such a scary diagnosis. His nurse Deena is a gem!!!! My surgeon was Dr. Jambhekar, I also found her to be amazing. (CSV fired her for some reason, and was very lax about informing her patients. I am unimpressed with that!!) All of the nurses I have encountered have been amazing, from the chemo suite, to radiation, to surgery and medical oncology. The women who work at the front checking us all in are also wonderful. Despite having a two hour round trip every time I go to the Cancer center, I find it well worth it. I'm coming up on my two year diagnosis anniversary, I wouldn't want to have care anywhere else. I have had nothing but great experiences at the CSV cancer center. I was given a partial diagnosis…read moreof cancer while in a hospital far from my home in northern NM. That hospital told me on day 5 of 11 that they would take care of scheduling everything once I told them where I wanted my cancer treatment to be done. By day eleven that had done absolutely nothing, including giving me my records or forwarding them to CSV. CHRISTUS really went out of their way to get my diagnosis from the hospital, and the other hospital was incredibly stubborn in their ability to ignore repeated requests but the ladies at CSV proved more effective. That was just the start of their above and beyond treatment. Doctors and Nurse practitioners regularly walk patients back out to the scheduler to make sure the next few appointments get made, they walk new patients over to their next destination in the center, they take time to ask questions, answer questions and reassure. The nurses are always hustling, always concerned and accommodating. Each patient receives a main nurse during chemo infusions, but they work together for the comfort of the patient. Their CNA's are awesome (looking at you Angelica). Their reception group is terrific and really has been pushing extra hard recently. Support staff are kind and efficient. Volunteers are epic! With the arrival of so many Nexus patients it's been a little busy, but they are pushing extra hard to make each patient a priority during their appointment, and hiring more staff as well. I'm not thrilled to have cancer, but I have found a lot of people to be thankful for during the last few months with CSV.

I had an appointment on April 11 with Ryan Brison to review labs. An abnormality was detected in the urinalysis for which Ryan wrote a script for an antibiotic to be picked up at my local pharmacy in Taos. He also had me provide another sample, which I did. Not receiving any results or a call , I called and was told by the receptionist that the "manager" would review the results and have Ryan call me. No call . I called once again , and spoke to Trucco, who was quite unhelpful and in fact was "rude" himself. He denied that there was a second sample taken. His listening skills are far from a professional standard needed in a medical practice. I received a letter from him today, claiming that I was "again" rude and threaten to terminate me from the practice. There was no previous interaction. Rather then offering an apology, i was presented with denial and offered to return to Sante Fe for another sample. He never even considered suggesting that a referral could be made to Holy Cross hospital and easily obtained by your practice. I highly resent his unprofessional conduct, while also noticing no CC. to the DR. Kingston. I would recommend a disciplinary action. I wish to make it clear that this is not directed to Ryan, just Mr. Trucco's conduct

I see nurse practitioners and don't get to see the same one twice, but I like coming here because they have much shorter wait times to get an appointment than any other practice I have sought care at. All of my other doctors are usually booked for two to three months in advance.

She takes the time to listen to you and does not rush through your assessment. She puts herself in your shoes and has empathy for your situation. She even goes the extra mile and responds to your portal messages on her days off and opens the office to give you samples on her day off. The overall experience I have had has left me truly grateful that I landed with this amazing provider. The office is descent in size and they do infusion treatments on one side of the office and on the other they take patients with appointment. Overall if you in search of a Rhemautoid doctor look no further and book yourself with Susan and her wonderful staff.
