Very small an intimate salon. Carmen did a gel no chip manicure and it looks great. She did a good job of explaining the process and gave me great tips to keep the polish looking good and my nails looking healthy. It took one hour. I started going to Alison for no-chip manicures in October 2015, pretty soon after getting engaged. I was (sometimes am?) a chronic nail-chewer - gross, I know - and since I didn't want grubby mitts when wearing my new ring, I decided to put my resources towards regular manicures. Alison was great at giving me tips and advice to keep my nails in good shape, especially as the wedding approached. The wedding was in December 2016, and I still go to her, because I love how my nails look and because I enjoy catching up with her every time I am there. I highly recommend checking her out! Went in for a pedicure. Carmen was my tech. Fantastic job. Super thorough and patient with my heel calluses. Ugh. Anyway, nice little place. Tucked into a professional building on Yorkville's north end of town. I saw pictures on line of what must be an older salon in a different location. Actually I'm glad they have this little place. Very quaint. Steady flow of folks coming in for hair appointments. I have to say, I've been searching for a Pedi Place and I think I finally found it! I'll be going back in three weeks. read more

Came here for a no chip gel manicure after trying so many places in the area. I seen Allison who was very nice. I wish she had more colors to chose from but other than that she did a great job. They lasted 3 weeks and did not chip! Highly recommend this salon for anyone looking to get their nails done. Nice, clean, salon. read more

I get my eyebrows done by Carmen. She is great! 5 stars for her! Went to get a polish change and they did just that...changed my polish. I guess I'm used to the cheaper salons who at least file your nails if need be. Plus, they only allotted the girl 15 mins. It takes me 5 mins to pick out a polish color. I felt VERY rushed. I'm new to the area and if you're like me, finding a new hairstylist is akin to finding a new doctor. Although unlike the doctor, I look forward to going to Reflections and seeing Andrea each and every time. When I go to Reflections, I have a cut/color/style. I'm changing up my style now and Andrea is helping me grow out the locks to do something new. She's very good at explaining the process and the goal, as I'm impatient. Andrea is also great at discussing product and what my expectations should be with the style and the product. In addition, she does a great job at promoting new options for other types of inventions like the new mascara that I had to have (totally eliminates the craving for fake lashes). I search high and low for a good stylist to get my blonde "just right" and it's such a difficult task ... now I am ALWAYS happy with my hair color and low/highlights. I was in search of a new stylist in the area. This is something that gives me high anxiety. I made an appointment with Melissa. I was nervous about changing hair stylists. I needed my roots touched up and my highlights toned. She made me feel comfortable at once. She touched up my roots quickly well. Matched my color perfectly.
