This is the online ad. Once I got in store they said "Well, if you went to OUR website you would see the price markup."

They are charlatans, plain and simple. I went to see a used Volvo XC90 posted online by them in multiple venues (cars.com, eBay motors, etc). I called ahead to confirm the car was there and advised that I would be coming from Naperville, more than an hour away. We set an appt for 7:30pm, I head out early just to make sure we're not there too late; I respect their time. I arrive at the dealership, test drive the car, and spend nearly an hour looking it over. I'm pretty sure, at this point, I'll be buying the car. So we head inside and the BS begins. Kevin, the sales guy, starts espousing some alleged virtue of "full transparency". Apparently, that only happens once you've spent 2-3 hours of your time, because all of a sudden the price I saw online became $2500 higher. Where was that "transparency" before I wasted 3 hours coming to the middle of nowhere to look at a car?! The big lie is that they have "dealer installed accessories" that amount to, wait for it, a bogus "warranty" that covers "rips and tears" in the seats and a "ceramic coating" on the exterior. For those who aren't car people, a bottle of ceramic coating costs about $90. Full paint correction, detailing, AND ceramic coating (none of which was done to this vehicle) costs about $1500 from even the most pricey shops. It's a lie and they know it. I refused the "warranty", they refused to sell me the car. Instead of just saying, the car costs what it costs, they waste your time and unrepentantly try to shake you down for more money once you're in the door. It's disgusting and ridiculous. I wouldn't send someone here to buy a lollipop, much less a $35k vehicle. Go elsewhere!

The actual listing that is still up

I would highly suggest many to avoid this dealership. I came today to buy a Porsche and we were very disappointed. We noticed that it sounded a bit odd when it pulled up, the window control was missing a switch, the trunk didn't work, after we drove it we could smell coolant from the outside of the car, and the a/c did not blow cold air at all. This was a huge disappointment and it wasn't in their listing online. When I spoke to the salesperson there wasn't any mentions of issues with the car and not until I started to pointing them out he acknowledged there were a few issues with it. I had to talk to the "used car manager" and make him "aware" of the problems with the vehicle. This dealership not only wasted my time but they also tried to sell me an expensive problem. I don't intend on coming back nor do I think anyone should trust this dealer with used cars! It's still up for sale even after they told me they would reach out to me in a week to tell me if it's fixed or not. I also called as a "different" person and I asked Crystal (I'm assuming a receptionist) to ask a manger to make sure the vehicle was in good condition and that nothing was wrong, after that they told me that they made sure that the vehicle was perfect bumper to bumper. This just goes to show they are looking for a less knowledgeable person that they can get to buy this car!

Best place in town if you want to get your Jeep or any other car fixed. Trucks too of course. And actually get something done and in a timely manner. Service: when I pull my Jeep Grand Cherokee or my Toyota into the service bay. You get greeted by there many available services writers. They take your car and you explain what you need done. My favorite part is they want to take care of you, they will help you any way they can. When I HHS's to get a new radiator for my Jeep. They helped me out with a car for two days. They also helped me out with other maintenance that I needed to get done, so I got to kill two birds with one stone. I highly recommend saying hi or meeting there service manager Sal. He is a great guy and as he will tell you. No one will put work him! So he sets the bar high but his customer service is not like others. He will actually remember you. Will find something he has in common with you. and will go out of his way for you. He remembers the details. Express service. Great place to get an oil change. Tire rotation, anything that is express. They are fast. I am a fan or royal purple oil. I bring in my own oil and they give me a great price on a fast change. Also I change my tires from summer to winter and they do a fast job and I just show up. Don't need an appointment. This place I am extremely loyal and they have taken care of me again and again.

I only have this car serviced by Brilliance and have had nothing but excellent experiences with their service department. I have maintained this vehicle for the past 12 years with Brilliance and would not hesitate to purchase my next car from them.

They ripped my Dad off, they sold him a Van that he bought for my mom, it had multiple problems that they definitely knew about, I flew home and had to fix it (I was living out of state at the time) 2. Years later, after the Van had hit about 150k, it started to misfire, the dealer charged her $4k! To do a "tune up", my parents brought it back as the misfire came back the next day, they charged them another $500 and told them there was nothing wrong! I flew home again and found all that they had done with change the spark plugs, coils, (they used the wrong spark plugs and coils btw) an oil change and topped off all the fluids. None of the bolts for the plenum, the or the value cover had been touched. They said they went through the car and "opened the engine up"... this was a LIE. The issue the car was having was that it had carbon build up, i attached some pictures of before I cleaned it, an idiot would spot this issue. I cleaned out the intake and went through the whole head of the car and presto... the engine is like brand new. It only took me 6-8 hours to diagnose and fix the issue. 3. I have an older Honda Civic hatchback that I love, I've owned it for 15 years now. I went in to pickup some parts for the car, they told me they where all discontinued, (breaks even) and to "get another car, why would you want to fix it", they have the same generation Civic sitting in front of the parts department with some slogan on it... These people are liars, the sales people, the service people and the parts department will insult you right to your face, they are also incredibly lazy, the parts guy wouldn't take down the model and year, instead he insisted on having the VIN.

The background: I'm a veteran of buying vehicles from out of…read morestate, as I've done so my entire life, covering about a dozen cars. I know the tricks and I know the pitfalls. I found the car I was looking for and so reached out to Castle Kia to discuss. The beginning: I had an excellent time with communications between the numerous (and I mean numerous) customer service reps and sales people during the first couple of days when working out a deal. They were very responsive and we managed to find a workable number for all parties. I'm not easily impressed, but in this case I truly was. The middle: Here's where things went down the path of "oh yeah, used car dealership. Where have we heard this one before?" Right before it was time to seal the deal, the GM, Jordan Suchowski, started playing games with the final price, working every angle to try and squeeze a few hundred more dollars out of me, eventually insinuating a "take it or leave it" demeanor. Given the car was the exact one I wanted, I chose to eat the three hundred and move on with my life. Things went really badly when I flew in to O'Hare and found myself stranded at the airport: Jordan didn't bother to tell my final salesperson to pick me up. After a few phone calls to the dealership, each escalating in tone to get someone to pick me up, they found my final salesman (I'd gone through no less than 4 people during the transaction) and ordered him to get in a vehicle and come get me. Nice. Customer. Service. My sales guy was apologetic, but he got thrown under the bus by his bosses, and did anyone from the corner offices reach out to me to apologize for leaving me at the airport for two hours? You can guess the answer to that. The end: Having never received my plates from my county, I finally called them only to learn they'd reached out to Castle more than once to let them know they hadn't provided enough money to my county for the plates. Only after I called and chewed on a couple of people at Castle did they send in the rest of the funds, resulting in me getting my plates two months after my temp tags had expired. The summary: You'll often have headaches dealing with the low-level sales people. That wasn't the case here; they were great. The folks above them dropped the ball in a bad way more than once. Clearly, I won't be going back, and the 4000+ members of the country club I run have all been told this story. Jordan and team: A quick 60-second apology call goes a long way when you leave a customer hanging at an airport, and when financial mistakes were made which left the customer driving dirty without proper tags, an apology is absolutely in order. You could have avoided this review by taking a few extra moments out of your day. Best of luck in the future.
