TLDR: If you're in the market for a GR car--stop looking. Just go to Pauly Toyota. We came in with a very specific request: a 2025 GR Corolla with a precise spec. At the time, the dealership didn't have one in stock, but we wanted to ask about future allocations. That's when we began working with Ben Salomon, whose initial response email blew us away. He went above and beyond to break down the allocation process, explained how orders work, and most importantly, assured us that Pauly Toyota honors MSRP with no surprise markups or forced accessory packages--something we deeply appreciated in today's market. After placing our deposit, Ben got back to us the very next business day to let us know that they'd secured an incoming allocation that matched our request exactly--from the paint color to the trim level, right down to the smallest accessory packages. It was already en route to the U.S. from Japan, and from that moment forward, Ben kept us in the loop through every stage of its voyage. He was communicative, transparent, and always quick to reply--often within a few hours. He didn't make promises he couldn't keep, either; when discussing timelines, he was upfront about how unpredictable transit schedules can be. That honesty was very much appreciated. Once the car arrived (well ahead of schedule!), Ben had already helped us prepare much of the documentation in advance, which made the delivery day incredibly smooth. From arrival at the dealership to driving off in our brand-new GR Corolla, the entire process took about 45 minutes. The attention to detail blew us away, too. We had asked that the front license plate bracket not be installed, and Ben went out of his way to personally ensure that wouldn't happen--removing the kit from the car, storing it at his desk, and placing clear instructions on the windshield to avoid drilling. That level of care and respect for the customer's wishes was incredibly refreshing. This was a fantastic car-buying experience. We left with not just the exact car we had hoped for, but with an appreciation for how Pauly Toyota conducts business.

I have always called at least one other parts store when making a purchase over $200.00 to insure that AutoZone is giving me the best deal. I was then transferred to a women that couldn't give me any idea of what type of discount I would receive if I invested the time to open a Commercial Account. What's the incentive I asked? This guy is so nasty and so non-customer oriented, he must have worked at Radio Shack previously. That's the only business I can think of where the employees went out of their way to talk down to the customer. I arrived at 8:55AM. It was a very simple transaction that needed to be completed, purchase of two items with "free installation" as advertised in their windows and advertising. Not talking about anything like an alternator or fuel filter, this was a five-minute thing, relatively easy for someone who has done it in the past. Now 9:15. Took 20 minutes to complete the purchase part of the transaction, has Logan had to make sure he had exercised his superior knowledge of car parts over me, as if that would somehow make me submit to ..... what? No idea. Installation? "Well, I had a guy due at 9AM, so if you want to wait, he should be around anytime in the next half hour." Sure. Returned to the car. Surprise! Guy came out a few minutes later and fiddled a bit before telling me he wasn't really an install guy, but he'd go get the right guy. Tick-tock, tick-tock. Now 35 minutes past the time I walked in the store. Damn, it's not like it's a doctor's office where you expect to wait or even a take-out meal. It's an auto parts store. They deal with the same crap every single day. But that was enough for me. Went inside with the parts and asked for a refund. Logan Logan Logan wanted to argue. ARGUE. Never again. Never. Oh, postscript. You know how you've read about customers' receipts at different businesses that had ethnic or other slurs on the receipts? At the bottom of mine? "General Lee" "Confused." Not written, printed by the POS right on the receipt. I hope you have a long and ever-spiraling downward career Logan. Yelp needs to add a ZERO rating. This is the first "one" I have given in fifteen years.
