Fire everyone in service! They have become a total garbage dealer to go to for service. Scheduled maintenance that was on prepaid protection and 2 handle a repair that was warranty 2-1/2 weeks ago. Service loaner was required for all day visit AND reminded them Friday when they called to confirm for this morning. Was enroute 30 minutes before my appointment and advisor called to say that loaner was not available at which point I blew a gasket because of the time I put into setting my schedule to work with it. They have NO respect for the customers time and have bent me over or at least tried to the last 3 visits. Never buy a car from these liars!!!! Rating would be zero if I could do it!!! read more

Very deceptive sales tactics on all levels. Found a used Infinity QX60 low miles and color I wanted. Took a test drive, liked it enough to talk price. Salesman George had a couple questionable items on the initial price sheet. $299 for having VIN # etched on the door and $1,299 for guard protection. I asked what guard protection was and he said it's door guards and wheel locks? WTF? I said no to that but I'm sure he's suckered people into that in the past. Also, the finance guy put a ton of pressure on us to buy an extend warranty. I said no to all 10 offers he made. I had to correct him on some warranty things also. He was pretty upset when we left and so was the salesman George. They thought they were dealing with suckers. Nope. I would never go back to buy a vehicle there. read more

Updated Review I originally left a positive review for Shane at M'Lady Nissan based on my January 2026 purchase, but I later learned I'd been misled about the Costco Auto Program discount. Shane told me several times he "couldn't find the paperwork," even though no paperwork exists -- the dealership accesses the discount through a portal. He's been there eight years and is the designated Costco contact, so he should have known this. Even his sales manager admitted the Costco deal is their simplest transaction and couldn't explain how this happened. I also learned that many others received the Costco discount here without any issue, which makes the disparate treatment even more troubling -- especially since I'm a returning customer who traveled a long distance. After I filed a complaint, Costco investigated and confirmed I should have received the discount. Only then did the dealership refund me over $1,800. This should never have required an external investigation. I'm updating my review so future customers know to double‑check everything and advocate for themselves. read more

We were looking at a 2014 RAV4 at M'Lady and another dealership nearby. both were the same year, color and trim level. The deciding factor to go with the RAV4 from the other dealer was that it had 48,000 miles less. I would not hesitate to recommend Luis to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. So, Peter in Service take me and says ok your here for Oil Change and tire rotation and I thought that was right he is the service guy, right? Well than I was waiting in the new waiting area (if you call it that) anyways I was waiting about an hour because I was a little early anyways so no big deal. So a Young Girl comes to the waiting area and says my car and my 1st name and I stood up and she took me into this room with 3 other employee at this time I was confused because it's a brand new car I thought something was wrong and then she says she will take your payment for the Tire Rotation and I SAID WHAT NO WAY ITS INCLUDED IN MY LEASE AND PETER said when I brought my car in this. Anyways she Called Peter didn't answer so she had to run to the service area, and she came back with a rude attitude and said to the other employee (NO CHARGE) and I said I thought so. As a single mother with REALLY BAD credit, lower than 500, I was not expecting to walk out with a car, let alone a brand new car after my car broke down on me...especially with a reasonable monthly payment. I bought my 2015 Nissan Altima from M'Lady Nissan in Crystal Lake, as part of the deal I get free oil changes. I routinely get feedback from them about what should be fixed and I always say no because I want to get another opinion. Nine times over 10 what they recommended does not need to be fixed. Then there are the times that I got better quotes for my brakes and my tires. That was one year ago when I replaced both of those. Part of the deal with my tires was that I get free rotation and free balancing. I went today to M'Lady for my oil change only to be told that since I didn't get the brakes or the tires done there, it was as if I never got the work done, even though I told them before they checked the car in about both of those items. So they gave me a list of things that needed to be done and included all the tire balancing and rotation, that I needed a new brakes and the grand total of everything came up to almost $2200. Now I know that I don't need bouncing a rotation because I had that done last month. I also know that I don't need new tires because my tires are only a year old and I asked the tire shop how they were and they said that they were excellent condition. When I had my brakes redone, I also had them change out the brake fluid which M'Lady told me I needed it entirely redone. Oh, and by the way, they have started reporting all work done there at M'Lady to Carfax without asking permission of the car owners. I feel like they were trying to take an advantage of an elderly woman which is a shame because I bought my car from them. I have been a loyal customer since 2015. I was actually considering looking for a newer model in the future there at M'Lady, I don't think that that's going to happen. I hope that they change their practices. read more

Unreasonable New Car Pricing, Zero Negotiation We knew the car we wanted right down to the color and interior and were 100% ready to buy. M'Lady is our local dealership so we tried to give them our business first. After contacting them, 3 different sales people passed me around like a hot potato. I had no idea who would be waiting for my in-person appointment. They had 2 perfect matches although they were last years model (2020). The pricing for these cars was just barely below the 2020 MSRP although it is nearly July 2021. This is soon to be a 2 year old car when the 2022s come out in a couple months and should be priced accordingly. Another dealer had the exact same 2020 car priced $2,455 less than M'Lady and so I asked them if they would price match or at least come back with a reasonable counter offer but they refused to offer anything other than the listed price. I guess that's why they still have NINE 2020's of this model in stock during an apparent car shortage. Result: In the end, the competitor sold their only 2020 before we could get there and so we purchased the 2021 version of the exact car we wanted for $450 LESS than M'Lady's old 2020. Of course dealerships can do whatever they want - it's their business and we are all free to shop around but I hope this helps you decide where to start your new car buying process. I'm adding an update to my previous review. As stated below I purchased a vehicle for $48,000 and three days later after getting it home my check engine light came on. Took it back to the dealership to have them fix it apparently to what they said. I drove down the road after picking it up after they had it for a week and my check engine light came back on. Since then, approximately for two months, I've been putting money into this vehicle to keep fixing it and unfortunately, nothing is working. I am now stuck with the vehicle that does not run correctly, constantly dies, leaks, upon other issues. I reached out to the dealership, thinking they would handle it appropriately and help me out. They told me the only thing they can do is offer a trade-in which I would be out approximately $15,000. I told him that they sold me a car that does not work and I was shocked that they would not help me out other than try to do a trade-in and Essentially use me to get additional money from them. Very disappointing. I would highly avoid this dealership, unless you want to be in the same situation as I. It is pretty clear that they do not have any conscience and are not truly there to help out their customers and will, choose money over the right thing to do at the end of day. I now have no choice, but to move forward with an attorney, which is frustrating to say the least. I plan to get media involved and spread my story to prevent anyone else from falling victim to this dealership. read more

We purchased a new vehicle here and have had service work done through them and it was always nickeled and dimed every time we brought your Nissan in. Even if your local don't get taken by these losers. Customer service is horrible on the service side of life and they do not value customers . When we purchased the truck we were told Sirius radio and a few other things to find out the next day the sales person misinformed us. They would not do anything's no to make it up and said that if we wanted they extras that we were told we originally told the truck included we would have to pay for those things.
