The last thing we wanted to do was take a cab to a local Urgent Care. We found Dr. Lissau on Yelp. He spoke with my husband for about 15-20 minutes and agreed that he needed an antibiotic along with some over-the-counter medications to alleviate his symptoms. We were staying at the Bellagio, and Dr. Lissau knew the contact number for the Walgreens across the street, so he called in a prescription for us. We were charged $210, which was money well spent. He accepts credit cards or Zelle. We are grateful for Dr. Lissau and have shared his phone number with our friends who visit Vegas frequently. Optum U.C. stitched up my bleeding eyebrow from when I fell off my bicycle landing on my head, they examined a 4-year-old lesion in my upper-left earlobe later diagnosed by an ANTI Reservoir Dogs dermatologist as cancer, and they now have me well on my way to recovery from a 3-week lingering dry cough. Besides being impressed with the professional/friendly service from front desk to doctors, I constantly refer to Optum's easy-to-read, 5-page report of everything that transpired -- invaluable toward ensuring consistent successful outcomes for me. If this is truly about "safety," it should apply to everyone equally. The guest care was disappointing: it took her a few minutes to even greet me, there was no warmth or welcome, and no attempt to problem-solve or accommodate. The only solution offered was "someone will call you later." Why would I come back after being treated like that? This experience reflects poor customer service, lack of compassion, and weak front-desk management--especially for new guests. If the waiver is signed and you're confirmed, the rest shouldn't feel this messy or unfair. NOTE: I checked my email and a copy of the waiver I signed was there. Not sure how or why they didn't have it. FACT IS I still wasted the gas/electric and more importantly, my time! It's too bad because I was looking forward to trying something new.
