Unlike PCPs, Optum U.C. is open 24-7; usually not crowded; and equipped to do x-rays, CAT scans, etc., during the same visit. Optum U.C. stitched up my bleeding eyebrow from when I fell off my bicycle landing on my head, they examined a 4-year-old lesion in my upper-left earlobe later diagnosed by an ANTI Reservoir Dogs dermatologist as cancer, and they now have me well on my way to recovery from a 3-week lingering dry cough. Besides being impressed with the professional/friendly service from front desk to doctors, I constantly refer to Optum's easy-to-read, 5-page report of everything that transpired -- invaluable toward ensuring consistent successful outcomes for me. When you're sick, that first interaction matters more than people realize -- and they set the tone perfectly. The medical assistant was attentive, pleasant, and genuinely caring. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood the plan moving forward. I really appreciated how straightforward and thoughtful she was. Overall, the entire staff made my visit a smooth and reassuring one. I'm very grateful for the care I received and would absolutely recommend Dr. Lin and the CareNow team.

My sister is a stroke recovery patient who saw her PCP, Dr. Pervaiz, at American Urgent Care (AUC)…read moreon May 18 following her discharge from inpatient rehabilitation. During that visit, she needed: 1. An outpatient rehabilitation referral 2. A neurologist referral 3. A CT scan referral 4. Prescription refills 5. Completion of a disability form Although Dr. Pervaiz spent only a few minutes with my sister before leaving for another facility, we came prepared with a clear list of required items. During the visit, I reviewed these items with both the physician and office staff and confirmed the information needed to complete each request. Despite these discussions, none of the requested items were completed correctly or in a timely manner, resulting in significant delays in my sister's care. 1. Outpatient Rehabilitation Referral I provided an NCEP outpatient rehabilitation brochure containing NCEP's fax number and location information. Approximately one week after the visit, we received a referral to a children's therapy provider despite my sister being over 45 years old. This error required multiple follow-up communications and delayed the start of her rehabilitation services. 2. Neurologist Referral After multiple follow-ups with the clinic, we received a referral more than a week later. However, the phone number listed on the referral did not correspond to the provider address and NPI listed on the referral. As of June 3, AUC still had not provided a valid neurologist referral. 3. CT Scan Referral My sister had to return to the clinic the following week to request the CT scan referral again because it had not been processed. The referral was not faxed to the imaging provider as requested. After obtaining an emailed copy and forwarding it myself, I learned that the referred imaging provider did not accept my sister's insurance. This required additional follow-up with AUC and several more days of delay before a corrected referral could be obtained. 4. Prescription Refills At the May 18 visit, we provided a concise medication list from my sister's hospital discharge paperwork, including anti-seizure medication, blood pressure medication, and cardiac medication. I repeatedly emphasized that her medications would run out by the end of the month and that no refills remained. Office staff confirmed the pharmacy information during the visit. By May 28, no prescriptions had been sent to the pharmacy. We were forced to make multiple calls to the clinic before the prescriptions were processed. We later learned that one of these follow-up calls had been documented as a telehealth visit. Given the importance of these medications to a recent stroke patient, the delays and handling of this matter were highly concerning. 5. Disability Form We provided a one-page disability form to be completed by the physician during the May 18 visit. Despite multiple follow-up requests, the completed form was not returned until the first week of June. These issues are documented through communications with the clinic. The repeated errors, delays, and lack of follow-through significantly impacted my sister's post-stroke care during a critical recovery period. Based on these documented events, I am filing this complaint with the Better Business Bureau for review.

Our experience here was awful. I'm a single mom with a new born at home, my 12 year old is sick and her throat was hurting so we rushed to the after hours urgent care because the one we normally go to was already closed. We checked in and let the front desk lady know that we would wait in the car after we registered because the lobby was full of sick patients and I have a newborn at home and I cannot risk getting the baby sick. She was very rude with us and said because we were a walk in appointment we were not to leave the lobby bc if we did we would lose our place in line. I said it usually lets us know what number we are in line in the txt message link they send to our phones and she said well I can't force you to stay here but if you leave and they call you then you will lose your place in line. I didn't want to risk getting sick so we waited in the car and kept refreshing the link until it was time for us to go back inside the lobby. It said there was 4 people ahead of us in line so we walked to the door and rang the door bell several times and she wouldn't open the door. It was freezing outside so I told my daughter we could go wait in the car and try again when there was one patient ahead of us. Once it alerted it us that we were next we walked up to the door again and rang the door bell over and over and she still did not answer the door for 6 min. Finally she buzzed us in and we took our seats waiting to be called. it said there was one person ahead of us in my txt message link. We sat in the waiting room for another 45 minutes watching everyone go back to be seen until I finally stood up to go ask why they haven't called us back yet? She replied the nurse called your name and you were not here. I told her that we were in the lobby and nobody called our name. Their front desk girl who was working at 9pm on May 18, 2026 was rude and had a bad attitude. She said we had to start our wait all the way over because we weren't there when they called our names and that there was an error on our registration paperwork. Mind you it is now 11pm and the lobby was still full. She didn't care my child was sick and didn't feel good, and that we had been waiting this whole time. It honestly could've been possible that the nurse called us back when we were stuck outside the front doors when she was taking forever to buzz us in the lobby. the owner should check the cameras and the time stamp. I paid a sitter to stay with my newborn so I could even bring my other daughter in. The whole thing was honestly a waste of time. She could've been nice about it and said I will get you back there immediately since you've been waiting but because she said we had to start the whole process over I was furious and left. We will not be coming back Get a new receptionist

He gave me instructions by phone late at night, and asked me to contact him in am. In the am I was worse yet, got ahold of him, and he had me meet him at a local pharmacy where he could evaluate me. He diagnosed me with tracheal bronchitis and put the proper meds in for me by phone to another local pharmacy (since the one we were at was closed on weekends). The pharmacy staff knew him well and I was able to sleep that day up until the concert and did not miss it. I basically slept the whole trip and was miserable but thank him very much for his services. I didn't have to go to a local ER or urgent care and wait for hours, and could stay in bed at my hotel instead. I did read reviews before contacting him and so I want to address a few things: 1.
