Garlic dumping

They have a menu without pictures and menu with pictures. Here's the fun part - some of the pictured dishes are not on the worded menu. I can't even tell you what I ordered in English as the pictured menu is only in chinese. It was a numbing noodle that has words almost the same as the worded menu but slightly different haha... the dish was full of flavor though and with numbing chilis. Really good. Dried noodle with beef tripe - flavorless. Very little pieces of tripe. We ordered their hand made thick noodles for an extra $1 and it was not very thick. Probably as thick as shanghai noodles but I expected flat and wide noodles. Noodles weren't very chewy. Would not order this again. Garlic dumplings - not sure which part is garlic because the sauce tastes like the japanesw salad sauce (the one with the blended carrots). Tasty though. Feels like dishes are hit or miss. Maybe the key is only order the dishes that are spicy.

Craving for beef noodle soup and found this SiChun family restaurant near Coquitlam Shopping Center. I had this Beef Soup with extra spicy sauce. The chili spice really kicked in and it was addictive! The owner is very sweet and kind. The ambiance is very cozy! Highly recommend when you are craving for something special!

Hidden authentic Chinese cuisine in the middle of High Street. I ordered the Vegetable noodle and the sliced potato salad. Very tasty and great food presentation. They really care and take the time to prepare the food. The restaurant environment was very clean and like their warm decor. Service was excellent and very welcoming.

Prices are affordable, and they even have a happy hour, which makes it an even better deal. The staff were friendly and the service was pleasant. I'd definitely come back again for another treat!

The donut itself is soft and fluffy, the filling is nice and creamy, and the crackly caramelized sugar on top gives you that classic crème brûlée experience. It's good, but for me, it wasn't quite the type of donut that all the hype made it out to be. The other flavours were enjoyable; I do wish they were a little more innovative. It feels like there's room to be a bit more creative with the menu. One other thing was how quickly they "sell out." Maybe they genuinely do, but it almost feels like they simply make a very limited quantity each day to create that sense of demand. The location also doesn't do them any favours. Parking is difficult, it's right along a busy road, and it's not exactly the kind of place you casually stop at. Overall, the donuts are good quality, especially the crème brûlée, but I personally don't think they're worth going out of your way for.

She recommended: Rosemary garlic pull-apart, and that was REALLY GOOD. Definitely a 5/5. French onion pull-apart, 4/5. Fig, brie, and prosciutto croissant, 4/5 (wife's favourite). Croque monsieur, 4/5 (kids' favourite). I also ordered an oat milk latte with vanilla syrup, which was 5/5. Really good latte!!! They source their coffee beans from "Honest to Pete," located in Vancouver. A 1 lb bag costs $25, and I'm planning to pick one up on my next visit!

What I tried Hazelnut roasted banana choux - Hazelnut monte, roasted hazelnuts, candied bananas and house made praline. Mango and coconuts cake - coconut mouse mango cremeux almond dacquoise and white chocolate crunch. Choux was very delicious! Choux dough was nicely crispy exterior and filling was not overly sweet, strong hazelnut flavor, really delicious. The house made praline and hazelnut cream paired so well. I really love this item. Mango and coconuts cake was also good. Coconut mouse was light texture and not overly sweet. It paired with Mango creameux well. And I like to have them with chocolate crunch. I have always thought this place's pastries were high level. Highly recommend.

I felt like the two was basically the same with the exception one has greentea powder and the other had soybean powder. I find the shaved ice here a lot more dense and of course it makes it a lot more filling compared to bingsoo at other places. The greentea bingsoo was my favorite. It had a nice flavor. There are greentea powder in the middle of the dessert. The greentea cake on the side was not bad. It was also nothing special. I have a feeling they probably didn't make those cube cakes inhouse. The Injeolmi bingsoo is probably something that I won't order again. Don't get me wrong, it was not bad. I am just not big on rice cake. The powder on the Injeolmi bingsoo was quite interesting. It had a nice smoky flavor to it. Both bingsoo was topped with redbeans. In terms of decor, the place is nothing fancy. It has tables and chairs so you can definitely dine in. The place is also a bit hidden behind a bus stop. The place can easily be missed.

We were told that each person sitting at the table would have to spend a minimum of 5$ just to sit in the restaurant. There were 5 of us and we were wanting to share a 15$ regular sized bingsoo, but since we all didn't spend 5$ they didn't even allow us to order. We asked if then they could make it a togo order so we could eat it outside and she denied that as-well. I know it's 2025 now and prices are crazy, but I never thought i'd be denied service for wanting to purchase something to share. I used to love coming here but I don't plan on coming back with these outrageous seating prices. They are trying to up charge you so don't fall for it.

We were pleasantly surprised that they offer guests access to their full drink menu including their specials. Ube matcha was good, but had a hint of cinnamon which we could have gone without. The matcha mango was also good. The blackberry lavender matcha was too floral for our liking. However, eventually you get used to it and then it becomes more enjoyable. The pandesals were super fresh and we loved both the ube and strawberry butters that came with it. I wish that they came a bit warmer, so that the butters could have melted a touch. I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 sandwiches. I especially loved the arugula on the mozerella sandwich. The blackberry brie sandwich could have used a touch more brie, but was still delicious. The cheesecakes were good, but a bit too sweet. The strawberry was my favorite. I enjoyed tasting multiple flavors. Their red velvet cupcake was extremely moist. The pistachio malasada was cute and flavorful. The filling to pastry ratio was good. I think that the experience could have been better balanced if there were a few more savory items. One thing that we noticed was that all of the pastries including the malasada were cold. I can understand that there are some food safe requirements that need to be met in how desserts are stored. However, letting them sit out for even 20-30 minutes before consumption would have been better.
