    Pho garnish

We stopped by over the weekend for lunch as we were in the area. Right away, tea was served for myself and my husband. Cold water was served to our toddler. A high chair was offered. I was impressed at the acknowledge of younger children as customers too. After looking over the menu, we ordered a number of items. We ordered deep fried spring rolls, chicken wings, house special pho, lemon grass beef and fried egg on rice, and lastly, an iced Vietnamese coffee. Food arrived fairly quickly. The spring rolls were amazing and made with the rice paper wrapper that I prefer. I like the airy and crispy crunch of the rice wrapper. The filling was seasoned well. The chicken wings were also good. I would have liked a lemon and black pepper dip for the chicken wings and it would have been the perfect combination. I ordered the lemongrass beef and fried egg on rice as my main. The beef was a tad chewy. I would order chicken or pork next time. I took a sip of the pho and it was a light broth. There could have been more toppings, but I understand food costs are high. There was only one beef ball slice in the pho. I also took a sip of the Vietnamese iced coffee and it was a bit on the weaker side. I have had better elsewhere. Restaurant was clean, tidy and child friendly. We were offered a separate bowl and cutlery for our toddler. Service was efficient. Restroom was spacious. I recommend stopping by this restaurant if you are in the area and craving for some good Vietnamese food.

I was in the area to pickup something and have about 45minutes before meeting up with my customer and saw this restaurant. A quick pho should be okay. This pace is located on the corner of the plaza and across from Starbucks. There were plenty of parking in the plaza so that was good. Walked in and sat down, the place was pretty small with about 8 to 10 tables, very clean and simple with a very casual ambience. The menu was of decent size with pho, appetizers, and rice dishes. Here were the food I ordered; 1. Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk. Came with all the slow dripping gears but it dripped and ready to drink within about a minute, oh oh! Yes, it was pretty watery. 2. House special pho. The soup was hot but the broth was a little on the weaker side, the amount of meat was quite lacking. Almost like ordering a small size at your typical pho place. There was only one price and one size, $14.75, definitely not enough meat cause most of the time I complaint too much meat and when I say lacking, I can imagine most people will not be too happy with it. I can safely say there are not many pho restaurants down by the Columbia street area of New West survived over the years; therefore, trying to stop that trend, it has to be pretty spot on to stand a chance. With that being said, some adjustments are definitely needed for this place to stand a chance. My simple meal; $24 for a small bowl of pho that was lacking ingredients with a watery coffee plus tip, it's going to be a hard sell in this area of town from my business experience. I wish this place much luck and success!! If I were to be nice and generous, 2.5 stars?

Great tasty food! Will come back. The place is low key but behind that humble front they make some seriously tasty food.

We were the only customers in the restaurant so it was pretty quiet and empty. My friend got the Seafood Fried Rice. He thought it was OK. I got the beef chow ho fun which which is flat stir fried rice noodles with beef. It was also just OK. Both dishes were served with chili oil. I felt they could have added more seasoning to really make the flavors pop out. It's just not as tasty as I hoped it would be. It's a tad better than your random chinese food stalls at the food court. The food overall was not bad, i wasn't super disappointed with anything. It was cooked well at least. Our server was talkative and we felt taken care of. Shout out to Jeralyn for being a great server. 3 out of 5 stars based on this visit for the alright food.

The rice complimented it well with some sauce. They just melted inside my mouth. I would come again. There were many slot machines but I couldn't find BC Gold, why? Anyway, it was a fun experience. Try their coffee bars located at various corners of the casino floors. Decent coffee and free to help yourself anytime! Also came with creamers and splendid sugar for diabetes. It was easy access by taking the bus 420 alongside the Cambie St. beside the Aberdeen Sky Train Station. It's about 20 minutes ride and then 5 minutes walk from the Broadway bus stop.

After that, we ordered from them again many, many times through the Fantuan app. The menu is simple. Basically rice and noodles, just as the name of the shop implies. They cook their food soooo well though! There's a deep "wok hei" flavor to their rice and noodles. They do also have a few other side dishes like gyoza and spring rolls which you can order, but basically we go to this place for the rice and noodles. This was the first time we actually dined in the restaurant instead of getting takeout. Highly recommend dining in! So good to eat the food fresh and hot. It's a great place to stop for a quicky, filling and tasty meal. You choose your base, then your protein, and then your level of spice. Pay at the counter, then sit down and they will bring the food out to you when it's ready. In our group we ordered some gyoza, chow mein, pad thai noodles and pad see ew noodles. I must have been hungrier than I realized, or else the food just tasted soooo good that I ended up eating my entire plate of noodles, when I really only needed about half the plate. This place is a "must try"!.

This is the second business I encountered doing that in a span of two days. Other than this, the service was ok. Food was great. Delicious! The live band is always good for dancing. This is the place to go if you want to take a turn on the dance floor. Very popular place. Reservation recommended if you want food and a table. The poke bowl had a lot of ingredients, while the chicken wings, ribs, and calamari were just okay, decent. The sliders were very popular and pretty good. They were casual bar dishes, perfect with beer and cocktails. The live stage started around 9:00 PM, with breaks at certain intervals. The show was pretty good, and a lot of people were dancing on the floor. We could also visit the casino occasionally during the meal. It was a lot of fun! Overall, we had a lot of fun with the bar food, drinks, dancing, music, and casino! It was the perfect place for a gathering, and we will definitely visit again for the live music!
