The ladies are doing it right ! I am staying at the KOA . It's cold and heavy rain and I found very close to the campground like 20 feet from me. they have a lunch special of one Large slice of pizza ,a salad ,and a drink for $6.99. and if you're hungry, you can do the giant pizzas which are more than you could possibly eat very nice ladies working and doing it right very friendly and quick service for this Price. The place is not closed. It is under new ownership called Chubs and very nice people. Everything made fresh a large variety menu and it's very close to the KOA. The garlic chubs are very delicious. The fried tortellini's are good the loaded fries you can't beat you can make your own salad. There's a huge wing selection a huge specialty pizza selection. Under new management! Cauliflower crust pizza is amazing! Had it twice now! The owner did state that they cannot guarantee gluten-free due to the possibility of cross contamination in their small kitchen, but I had zero issues with celiacs symptoms! I highly recommend the cheeseburger pizza! It has a very unique smoky taste that I have never experienced anywhere else! Also had the wings and they are fabulous! This place is really GREAT! The Parmesan wings and loaded fries are so good! My Dad had a calzone and said it was the best he's had in quite a while, my kids loved the hand scooped ice cream and root beer floats with their pizza! Staying with my mom before Christmas, and my brother and I decided pizza would make a good dinner. We decided the closest place was Chubby's. They are less than two miles from her house. I will be honest and say I was surprised at the 45 minute wait for the basic large pepperoni pizza, but they are the only pizza joint close so we did the wait. The pizza arrived and it was a good size and had plenty of pepperoni. It was not piping hot, and was what I'd call, medium warm. The sauce is a sweeter sauce than I like but it was not bad. Just know that your going to get sweet in your red sauce. For the area, it fits the pizza bill but they could do a bit more for their speed and the hotness of delivery. read more

Staying in the campground next to chubby and a local friend highly recommended. So my grandson and myself walked there to get a quick pizza, to go. Walked in at 8:21 (closing time is 9:00) The lady said, "I hope you don't want pizza. We are out of them" I stepped out and called my family to see what they wanted to do and not having any food at the camp yet, we thought we would settle on anything they could make for us. So I went back in and asked if they could make us sandwiches at which point she told me they were closing and wouldn't serve us. Tried so hard to support this local business. But the food was just horrible and seriously over priced. The employees are rude and took forever to even acknowledge your presence. When I left a review on their FB page, the owner started harassing and threatening me. Her name is Michelle Lumpkin. And she has since blocked me from Chubby's FB page..... Food is cold, tastes nasty and if it is not their pizza it is bought from the frozen food section at Walmart.... the nasty "hamburger" that is mainly soy protein.. yeah that kind of food!
