Food - we had the abdondanza pizza. It is still the best. Lots of meat and great tomato sauce. This pizza is a real treat. We ordered an extra one to take home. Ambiance- still clean neat tastefully decorated. Plenty of space between the tables and chairs. Great for mom since she walks with a cane. Service - I didn't catch the waitress's name but she was fast. Within 10 minutes our pizza was out. She checked on us within 5 minutes of getting the pizza and she kept my tea glass full. read more

The food was excellent. Really good pizza that's hot and fresh. The service was out of this world. I don't know our waitress' name but she was easily one of the best waitresses I've ever had. The ambiance of the place is really nice nothing too fancy or complicated. Nice seating area plus outdoor seating too! I always bring my friends and family here when I come to town. Our last visit was 13 people. Today, I Brought my elderly parents and brother in for an early dinner. My mom and dad are both 86 yo, unsteady and feeble. I requested a large table due my father's size and his abilities. I was told "no" by the hostess and the waitress. Those tables are for large parties and if I wanted a larger table we would need to sit outside in the heat! Granted none of the large tables were occupied. One table became occupied about 10 minutes before we left, the other was still empty when we left. I wanted to walk out, however, my parents were hungry. Due to the staff's uncaring attitude towards my elderly parents, we will no longer be patrons of the Tuscan Oven. read more

First off, this is a delivery review so I can't comment on the restaurant itself. A colleague of mine really likes the pizza from this restaurant so he suggested I order from here. I was craving spaghetti one night, so I did. I have mixed feelings. I ordered the meatball pasta, artichoke soup, and the dough balls for dessert. Yeah. To begin, I judge a place by their sauce, and the sauce on the pasta was very good. It's full of tomatoes, slight seasoning, thick and blends well with the pasta. The pasta was like tagliatelle. Very flavorful. But, then there was the meatball which unfortunately was tasteless. No seasoning in the meat, and a large dollop of ricotta on top. I removed it and enjoyed the pasta. The artichoke soup was nice. A bit salty, but otherwise good. And then there were the dough balls... which were just that, dough balls. There was a sweet sauce of sorts, but it really did nothing for the dough. Would not order those again. Not sure I would order from here again. The parking lot is small and can be difficult to get in and out of. The interior is nice and they have outdoor seating. Service is a bit slow but it is a small restaurant so it is to be expected. A very lovely place! We had just flew in to Pensacola after a horrendous connecting flight. My children were in the worst mood and I knew they were hungry. We called the restaurant and they had a table waiting for us and our children. They gave the kids pizza dough play with while we waited for the food. The pizza was absolutely delicious. Service was incredibly friendly, and the owner came to check on us personally. We loved hearing about the history of the restaurant, including the beautiful paintings of the pizza ingredients on the walls. Our favorite was the margarita pizza. It was a very popular place and the hostess made a point to check in with me to let me know that she hasn't forgotten about us and will be right with us. what a great experience we were in town for a special event with our grandson and his girlfriend. The meatball appetizer was wonderful was gone in two seconds. We are two different large pizzas for five of us. We had the meat lovers. It's called something different and then one again I forget the name of it, but it was a pepperoni pizza kind of. They were both wonderful everybody in our party. Agreed how great the food the atmosphere in a service was. Parking is a little tight on a Friday night but there is a lot across the street you might be able to use too. The service was expeditious and friendly. I ordered the mozzarella appetizer and half and half Pietro (pepperoni) and San Florentino (spinach ricotta) personal pizza. It was very nice to be able to do that. The mozzarella 'sticks' which are more like small slabs of mozzarella were delicious. With a nice crunchy crust. The accompanying marinara sauce was fresh and tasty. Been here 3x in the 2 months that we've lived in the area and it truly never disappoints!! The service is quick but never rushed, and the food is always piping hot. It's evident that they use top shelf ingredients. We've only dined inside and while it's not a massive restaurant, the noise levels aren't overwhelming, and I love how there's no tv screens to distract patrons or take away from the experience of dining here with your loved ones. For little ones, they provide booster seats, high chairs and a little plate of real dough so they can practice shaping pizza while they wait! 10/10 recommend. Excellent service and the Best Pizza around and believe me we have been to many pizzerias including the birthplace, Naples Italy, The ingredients they use are "top of the line" and the crust cooked in a wood fired oven which if you like it a bit crispy they will accommodate your request!
