You have to pay extra to jump on the trampoline. Order six slices of pizza and my two year old could've ate it to himself for fifteen dollars. The oven broke down and waited over an HOUR for our pizza service was garbage. I could've got a large pizza at little Caesars for the same price. HUGE RIP OFF!!!! Time for another review of this particular location, we went last week with my three year old daughter, we purchased two hours of gameplay pizza and salad, that being said with the game play points whatever... You don't get access to the trampoline area, which is extra, I noticed a girl that couldn't have been much younger than 18 if that walking up onto the trampoline area where my daughter ran over to every time my child would get on the trampoline area. She would walk up to her and usher her off at first I had no idea that she was an employee as she had a jacket zipped all the way up over her shirt and no name tag I honestly thought she was a teenager bullying my daughter with that being said my child came up to me and pointed at her. I asked my daughter what she said, and she could not really tell me just that she made her get off the trampoline the girl very soft spoken. walked up to me and said that we have to pay for that.. I asked her if she worked there and she said she did but she forgot her name tag that day. Throughout the night, my daughter kept wandering over to the trampoline area as she is only three and doesn't really understand that you have to pay for that jump .. my issue is the fact that she never did this to any other children the entire night except for my child. How do they know that we did not pay for the trampoline area? Why was I not told when I paid for my game card? .. it felt a bit like harassment and made me uncomfortable and my child. I did a survey with Chuck E. Cheese and never got a response back so I'm on here now. I just want to say if you're going to try and keep kids out of the trampoline area you either need to have somebody working there in that area or keep the gate shut and have an employee stand there to make sure the person paid.. I won't be happy if this happens again.. the end of the night my husband came to help me get my daughter out of there bc she was having a lot of fun and like most three year olds she didn't want to leave.. well here comes the employee yet again trying to get me child off the trampoline.. and like I said she wasn't doing this to anyone else.. when she seen my husband and I were actively trying to get my daughter out of the area she had backed off.. that was the first time the entire night she finally let it go.. also, wear a name tag so parents don't think you are just a teenage child on the trampoline trying to harass they're toddler. read more

Uh this is not your 1990's childhood Chuck E. Cheese. It's totally different. 1. No big tunnels/ball crawl/slides. What used to be a big playground is replaced by single user games such as knock off whack-a-mole, small rides, etc. 2. No more tokens. Instead you pay for a play card and you tap the card on the keypad if you want to play. Most games/rides are 1 credit, a couple are worth 2. 3. The rides are like 30 seconds long for one token. Not cool. 4. You still receive tickets if you play games which can be redeemed for prizes. This hasn't changed at all. 5. Still the same Old expensive food but it did smell good. We opted for McDs before to save some $$$. Three stars because the big playground is gone and just isn't as fun for a younger toddler. Better for older kids. Some of the coolest attractions were out of order and the kid working the counter was obviously flustered, he could've used some help with the line but no managers in sight. Post birthday party review Pros; The pizza is good, staff is nice Cons; 2/3 of their ticket machines were broke, only 1 ski ball game was working, pretty much half the games in the place were broke or out of order. I think they really should fix their machines or invest in some new ones. Because sooner or later people will stop going. We came here from my nephew's birthday party. The place was packed and they had gotten rid of some of the things they used to have here. They used to have a playground that the kids could climb in and play on but I assume it has been gone for a while now. The pizza was surprisingly good which was nice. They have a decent amount of games but the prices for the games seems a little higher than the last time I visited here. Pro's: -pizza was good -kids seemed to like it -service was friendly Con's: -very hard to get around the place was so busy -once your party is over they move you out of your spot super fast. -bigger locations available. read more

General manager and staff are a JOKE. Very unprofessional to myself and my spouse. After publicly humiliating us both at the salad bar, asking if we'd paid $10.99 for it, said we thought it was included, which was our bad; but he was loud and obnoxious towards us so we handed our plate back over. Cue the laughing employees behind the front desk. I told the kids that next year for their birthday parties we would take them to Dave and Busters and Scene 75. Chuck E. Cheese is a waste of money, considering half the games did not work the time we were there, and a waste of a day. We could've had more fun somewhere else. You know how you periodically look back at your childhood and remember certain things in a certain way? Then as an adult you go and revisit that certain moment of your childhood fully expecting to experience that certain thing in that same exact certain way? And instead you come to realize that nostalgia can and often will play cruel tricks on your memory? As a matter of fact as an adult you come to realize that certain thing really kind of sucks. I give you Chuck E Cheese. As a kid I remember walking into Chuck E Cheese and feeling as if I had walked right into my very own heaven. The sights, the music, the sounds, the pizza, the prizes and of course Chuck E and his friends. I remember gobbling down the greatest pizza I've ever tasted. I remember singing along to Chuck E and the rest of the band (even as a kid I knew they were animatronics....but I didn't care). I remember playing the most wonderful games (Skee-Ball, pinball, the original Star Wars arcade game, Pac-Man, Tron). I remember winning tickets and trading them in for prizes. It was such a wonderful memory, I was sure it would be just as great for my kids. And to be honest, maybe it was. But as an adult, it sucked for me. When you walk in you're met by an obnoxiously bored teenager who's disdain for kids is so painfully on display. As a matter of fact, every employee you come across seems to clearly hate their job. Before actually being allowed in however, you and your kids get stamped with one of those hand stamps that only show up underneath a black light. Then before you leave they check to make sure the kids you're leaving with have the same stamp as you. How sad is that? A place that's supposed to be safe for kids has to put in such security measures. The place itself is just dirty and messy, with floors that do not appear to have seen a mop in quite a while and carpets that look worn, old, and in desperate need of a vacuum. Almost all of the animatronics have been replaced with screens with Chuck E Cheese videos. The video games are just...crap. The pizza and pretty much everything else that's served are barely choke downable (yeah, I'm pretty sure that's not a word). The amount of tickets that it takes to purchase anything from their little store makes it all but impossible for kids to get anything. And the overall prices for food and tokens is borderline insane. And of course when you're there you're spending the entire time chasing after your kids. And if you lose sight of them for just a second you start to freak out. After leaving you get a sore stomach from the awful food, you get a painful reminder of how much money you're willing to flush down the toilet to make your kids happy, you get a headache from all the stressing out you've done, and more than likely you'll also get an ulcer. No matter how great your childhood memories of Chuck E Cheese might be...the truth is so much more painfully blech. Mahalo, and avoid. read more

I don't understand why the reviews are so negative. Sure, it isnt as fun for adults but its memories for our children. I have nothing but great memories of my childhood visits. I am sure my parents hated spening $50 a trip on something that isnt for them but they did it anyway to make us happy. Just as I do for my kids. 98% of the games are in great working order, the pizza isnt bad. Sure, it isnt gourmet but the target audience is kids. So the pizza will be slightly bland for their little tummies. It can be quite busy so we like to take our kids around 3. After 4 it can become crowded very fast. I do find it a shame that a lot of parents dont monitor this kids but the front door security is supposed to do their job for them, I guess. Speaking of which, I like the hand stamp. A lot of people seem to complain about it but I know if I lose sight of one of my kids for a second they wont be headed out the front door - its good peace of mind in the chaos. I had my daughters party there this morning. I've had several parties at Chuck E. Cheese usually the Florence location. Our party was set to start at 11. A host for another party came over to my group and asked me if I'd open up my survey email and mark that everything was set up so I did... (big mistake) she said our host was not there yet but she would be shortly. Once our host got there she came over and explained how the timing and party would go. Which is all what I expected. But our kids didn't even get their play cards until 11:30 which to my understanding should have been ready if the party was to start at 11. I marked we would have 17 people 9 being kids. So they had a table set up in the front for the kids then a booth in the back for adults... so if the adults are sitting in a booth in the back how is it they tend to their kid exactly when the tables aren't even close to each other? Anyways my daughter who turned 3 had a good time but I doubt I will pay for a party there again. My husband and I have brought our kids here 3 or 4 times in a month. The last trip was perfect because our kids had the place to themselves since it was between lunch and dinner on a Monday. The other times it was quite crowded. The cheesy bread wasn't very good but as always the pizza was great. My husband and I have liked Chuck E. Pizza since we were kids. All of the games were in working order and the place was generally clean. An older man was cleaning up from a birthday party that disbanded as we was walking in. A few tables were still piled with trash but nothing unusual. My problem with Chuck E. Chesse is with what happened after we left. Pur 2 year old started to complain of stomach pain. The next day he was sick. This was passed to our 4 year old then to myself. I am certain the stomach flu we had the utter displeasure of contracting came from this location. As the timeframe adds up and our kids were on the playground whereas othertimes it was too busy for them to play on it. For the life of me, I cannot understand why some parents expose other children to the illness their kids have. It just spreads like wildfire. Hand sanitizer when we left wasn't enough to repel the beast we ended up fighting. read more

I called to make a reservation, and the man told me my card was declined because of my billing zip code. I called my bank, and they told me that they had authorized a deposit for 50 dollars for the party. So I called chuck e cheese back to ask about it.. Not only was the woman so incredibly rude to me, made me feel like I was lying, she told me to three way call my bank so she could "hear it for herself." After my bank told her that the payment was authorized, and she said that my bank wasn't telling the truth .. So my bank took back the pending charge. That is the most unprofessional thing that has ever happened to me. If it weren't for my 6 year old looking forward to her party, I would never come back there again.. Not only do I work a full time job and am working the next 48 hours, the Eastgate location is 25 minutes from my house, and totally inconvenient. Your customer service is the WORST I have ever experienced. After this party, I will never be back. On top of me writing the review above, they sent me an email just apologizing about the card problem, which I clearly stated wasn't my issue. My issue was their customer service representative. It's Chuck E Cheese. Its geared towards children, who in my experience have a great time. Mean while, they provide a pretty good salad bar and pizza to munch on while your kids run to their heart's content. Your kids will love it and this particular Chuck E Cheese has great staff, a play zone, and working games. David was our host and could not have done a better job. He was on top of everything and made the party super easy for me.
