a cup of churros

So I went to Chuck E. Cheese with my sister and nephew (who has some developmental delays). I haven't been to one in years, so I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. It was very nice and clean. The food was pretty good(a far cry from back when I went years ago) Pizza was enjoyable and unicorn churros were definitely interesting. We hadn't hit peak time, honestly we were the only ones there but the sweet lady(Dionna) out front was so kind and wonderful. My nephew was exploring and took off behind the counter. She went and walked with him and showed him the length of the counter and eased his curiosity. She even gave him a little treat which he thought was so cool. I can't say how grateful we were for being so kind and understanding. She definitely made our experience even better. Highly recommend this place for fun and games. Their staff is amazing as well! Thank you!

We went while this kids were out this week and we were VERY IMPRESSED with the remodel including all new games, super clean and what an AMAZING staff! We were treated wonderfully and had such a great time. The General Manager is truly awesome and is an example of someone who loves their job and it shows. We got the special pumpkin pizza and the goggle eye cookie - all the food was delicious and we will be back!

Well, this is our grandbabies 3rd birthday here. Everything was fine until it was time to go in the ticket Blaster. Normally one adult would go in with the child but this year we were not allowed to go in the booth with our grandbaby. We spoke to the GM Mr. McEachern Daniel who was not sympathetic to the needs of small children. A 3 yr old doesn't understand the premise of picking up tickets as we explained that to Mr. McEachern he stated that, that is the rule and if we want to complain he will get us a card and he did. This was the worst customer service at a children center that I have ever experienced. Why do we pay for a fun experience that turned out not to be fun at all. We left with crying 3 yr old that could not share the ticket Blaster with her grandpa. I guess some traditions have to end or find a better more child friendly establishment.

Beware of the strong mold smell that seeps out of the vents when it first starts to rain. The scent went away when the rain subsided. My overall experience was good though, a lot of entertainment for my 5 year old, pizza is actually decent. Changing tables are a little tall for my wife who is 5'3. Would recommend this.

I must say...this is the cleanest Ch Ch I have ever set foot in. The employees were very friendly and acted like they liked their job. The salad bar is my favorite. The items were fresh and the bar area itself was clean. For the first time, I wouldn't mind going back to Ch Ch. Ha! Ha!

Okay, so Ray Ray was just incredible from start to finish. He made sure everyone felt welcome and…read moreknew where to go, especially with all your family and friends. He was super attentive, always checking in to see if anyone needed anything, and he really went above and beyond to make sure the whole event ran smoothly. Main Event itself was also fantastic. The whole setup was perfect for your going-away party, and they really made sure you and your wife had a stress-free and fun time. It sounds like they hit all the right notes for a memorable send-off! -Termon Moore

Because it is unique and has entertainment at the mall--it is very busy. That's expected. Where I…read morewould say it falls short is in terms of staffing. They either don't have enough people on staff, too many new people who aren't trained, or staff that just doesn't seem to care. Management looks overwhelmed with the demand of business and it's hard to imagine they've even gotten adequate training. The vibe screams emergency promotions and necessity hires. Now I can admit that my view is biased. We had bad service and bad food. We set a VIP reservation and had to wait 1 hour after the reservation to be able to bowl. We were told we would get our own server (nice!). But that didn't happen. The 2-3 servers were so enmeshed with the birthday party in the other half of the VIP room that they basically forgot we existed. They got our drinks--delivered 45 minutes later. Got our food order--came out right before our timer ended. The experience was not enjoyed. But looking around--I think everyone felt that way. From the customers to servers, and management...just everyone having a negative experience. If you wish to go just for the arcade games or laser tag I think you'll be ok. But I'd pass on the bowling and food.

Before arriving, I checked the website which states in bright red that those under 17 are not permitted without an adult after 4 p.m. Since she is 17 and her father was on-site seeing another movie, we believed they were compliant. After buying tickets, they were stopped for IDs, so her father left his movie to advocate for them and let staff know they were with him. A staff member explicitly told him they were "good to go" and let them in, only for another employee to approach them minutes later and kick them out. My daughter said they were made to feel like criminals on her birthday. When I called to address the disconnect, the manager was dismissive, citing "additional policies" buried on the site and told me if I didn't like it, I could "take my business elsewhere." It is a massive procedural flaw to allow minors to purchase tickets at a kiosk only to harass and turn them away moments later. We will be taking the manager's advice and spending our money elsewhere. I hope the owner, Dean Melvin, sees this and considers rewriting the policy to be clearly visible, while also speaking to staff about clear communication and how to respectfully approach paying customers. Additionally, after I posted my review on Google, I received a response from the theater stating that the issue was their age and the fact that they were attending an R-rated movie without an accompanying adult. The responder claimed this is a federal law enforced by the MPA. However, I looked this up and found that it is not actually a federal law, but rather a set of guidelines for theaters. While the MPA website and the official Omni site both state that those under 17 must be accompanied by an adult, it is a policy rather than a legal requirement. Furthermore, it was a two-step process to enter the theater, purchasing the tickets and then having those tickets checked. During the ticket check, the staff specifically asked for IDs. After checking, they told one individual he was allowed to go in because he was identified as being 17, the others did not have ID's on them. The staff allowed them all through both points of contact, only to later change their minds and kick them out. So, the age of them viewing the movie didn't seem to be the issue. I believe it was staff miscommunication with thier quest as well as withother staff members.

At $2 per person on movies before 6pm, got them popcorn and drinks too. Something to do on a hot day.
