We purchased the food package #1 with two hour unlimited games for each child with 4.99 wristbands. The food was edible but several of the games were not operational but looked like they were on. Very deceiving for the price we paid. My grandkids had a great time however my wife and I felt that the location could've had more help as well as operational machines for the kids to play based on the price of entry. Janet is so rude. She's working the prize counter. She didn't smile once and when we talked to her she didn't have any customer service. Manny however was super nice and super helpful. My first time using Chuck E Cheese's for a party. I thought the price was more then fair! My daughter loved every minute of her birthday party. I couldn't have been more pleased! My host Natalia checked in on us very frequently. We were greeted by the manager Mike and he was more then friendly! Then there was Averl (or maybe Averi, my card got wet sorry) she was very friendly and helpful as well. The party went so seamless and I was able to enjoy the adults while the kids played. This Chuck E. Cheese is by far one of the best ones! We booked a party on 2/5/2020 and our experience was wonderful. The birthday boy had an ear to ear smile the whole night. Our party host Marissa was AMAZING and very energetic with the kids. The manager with the tattoos was very professional and took us to our reserved seating area right away upon arrival. Today very disappointed in the service. I came in at 7:45pm to enjoy the last hour. Ordered, didn't get a receipt, took 45 min for a large pizza, wings, I also order fries but they never received them. I couldn't confirm because I didn't get a receipt. Then young make with purple hair and nails came out said sorry. Ordered again it's 8:56pm and still no friend and no wings. Not happy with this visit. read more

Probably one of the worst Chuck E Cheese's Ive been too....Yeah well I ha vent been to a good one but that's beside the point! The last time I was there they had NOOOO drinks none! All the soda machines were down. I bought bottle water which they should have given away since we had already paid for drinks. The pizza is hideous to put it nicely. It's small and overcrowded...and they don't even have a Whack-A-Mole...What the hell?!!?!?!??!!! I was attended a birthday party there....lucky me! And when the party time was over they literally kicked us out because they had someone coming in right behind us. I understand the time limit...BUT they might wanna give you a 10 minute warning. My husband and I came here with our two little ones and they had a blast, the toys are lame though, but achievable. My kids wanted the balls so we just bought them. Lol. They had a cool horse riding ride. Good customer service, Especially the woman who put our stamps on. It was pretty packed when we went so there was a little waiting around for rides and games but not long. The pizza was ok and the salad good. The kids had fun and ate that's what matters. The fountain drinks are free refills and are right next to the seating area. Well this is a smaller chuck E cheese after all. read more

Well I have used this place to host a birthday party twice now and have nothing but good things to say about this location. Staff has always been friendly and the facility is clean. The place is not so big that you start worrying about where your kids are and you can usually find who your looking for in less than a few minutes. Bathrooms have always been clean and with internet coupons you can get like 200 tokens for 20 bucks. All the games are one token so that lasts a few hours. The pizza sucks, always has, but this place is about the kids and not really about my grown up taste. Kids love pizza from Little Caesars to Lombardis so they don't really care. If you don't have much money and need to have a b-day party where some 4-10 year olds can have fun this is the joint to go to. read more

Ordered our pizza and a party platter...waited over an hour for them to bring the pizza out. Mind you, not too many people are here tonight. When the pizza was brought out, I asked about the platter, the guy said "oh it's coming out now..." Waited another thirty minutes and went up and asked. Was told "oh, everything is in the oven." Asked for a refund...another ten mins for the manager. He shows up and ignores me until he needs my card. RUDE! He could've been more apologetic that his team of employees messed up! Was at this location yesterday, a Sunday. Haven't been for a few months and am extremely disappointed they got rid of the play area with the crawl tubes for the kids. Food was great I must say however they were very understaffed for a Sunday. Arrived around noon and the place was busy but not crazy. By 1:30 it was hectic but of course it was expected because it's a kid place. Four of the games my four year old loves were unfortunately out of order which was a real bummer. The coupon I got online made it all worth it, was a good deal with the coupon and the play passes lasted very well. Glad we went, had a great time but it was not without hiccups due to them being understaffed. read more

I've been to a few of these and by far this is the worst experience ever. There were only 3 employees working. We were told food was taking an hour. We were ok with that since the kids were playing games. We waited over an hour and a half for the pizza and wings. NEVER EVER had I waited so long for food. The machines to load the play cards were down so guest had to get in line to reload them at the main register. They only had one single cashier working. Since the food was taking too long I went up to order a plate for the salad bar. Every single container was empty. I had to wait another five minutes so the cashier could go to the back and reload the lettuce. The whole salad bar was a mess. It looked disgusting pieces of food everywhere. My brother and his wife have been there multiple times and they were shocked how long it was taking for the food. read more

I have been coming to chuck e cheese through out the years. As a care provider I bring my clients for a fun day out but the last 2 visits have been nothing but the best. The employees are super friendly but our hands go up for their manager Jane. She is super attentive to one of my clients who happens to be in a wheel chair, she remembered us from our last visit and that is super important to us. I knew she put the suit on and entertained my client and it was just about the perfect day for her!! Definitely a 10 in my book and most certainly coming back for the fun atmosphere. Hum... Just like I took a time machine into the past of my very own childhood. Sadly not much has changed which I suppose is one of the reason's I've had to dock this place a star. There is still a huge dancing clothes wearing mouse that shakes his fanny and shakes hands with the kids for their birthdays. Who Hoo!! But seriously, for a kids birthday, what more could you ask for? The venue was rather clean for a germ infested nesting pool for nastiness and bacteria (I'm talking about the millions of kids). Anyhow... the staff is cool, they seem a bit overwhelmed, as though they should probably hire one or two more people to assist with maintainability of machines and what not. But overall the time spent at our 1 year olds birthday was awesome. Operation, is by far the best game they have at this place. Any game that makes a 25 year old scream "YES", at the top of her lungs... is a winner in my book! I have never been to this location I have a three-year-old son and I took him to this location for his birthday and I had a couple relatives meet me there like I said I've never been there before and I went there right when they opened and it was completely worth every penny I didn't know what kind of rides that they are going to have or games. I have visited other chuckecheese locations that are about the same size as this location and in the past I've been left disappointed because none of the games were really catered to my sons age and it was just running wild with teenage kids and just an older crowd. So this Gilroy location was a pleasant surprise we had a blast and I only spent $80 and it fed my whole crowd of people and they serve beer there! read more

Way too many games are broken or they just don't give out tickets while playing. Having to call staff to fix games or provide tickets and each game is really poor service overall. I walked in and out 3 times while a very tall girl and several young men just standing around watched me leave with my 4 year old and while holding my two year old grandkids NEVER once checking any of our numbers. My family went here last Saturday afternoon for the 1st time. I have been to the Modesto CEC (which was a lot bigger) but this one was great. The greeter was nice and welcomed us when I said we had never been here. She told us "the in's and out's" of CEC, which was cute. I mean, it's pretty self explanatory, but I appreciated it. I had the $49.99 coupon for 1 large 1 topping pizza, cheese bread, 1 salad bar, 4 drinks and 90 tokens. I mean, honestly, it should $40 max, but the novelty is that it's CEC. I still felt it was a good value. The cheese bread arrived in about 20 minutes. Kinda small, but really good. The pizza arrived about 10 minutes later, piping hot and surprisingly very good. It is cut into 12 slices and was enough for us. (2 adults, 7 & 2 year old.) The salad bar plate was given to us right away and my husband and I took turns. The salad bar itself is small and generic - what you would expect at a salad bar. HOWEVER this salad bar was the freshest salad bar I have ever seen. The lettuce was crunchy, all the things to put on it were extremely fresh. I was kind of blown away. I would expect a fresh salad bar at let's say Fresh Choice, but at CEC? I would expect a crappy salad bar at best. Not so. The staff was constantly refilling it and cleaning up. Toppings included (because I know some people want to know because of dietary restrictions like me) Iceberg lettuce mix, romaine lettuce, spinach, carrot sticks, mushrooms, broccoli, black olives, jalapenos, pepperocini, chopped hard boiled eggs, beets, macaroni & potato salad (the same kinds you would expect from a bulk container) cottage cheese, jello parfait, and about 7 different salad dressings. On top of the salad, you could choose croutons, fried onions, tortilla strips, crunchy chow mein noodles, sunflower seeds. They also had oil & vinegar. I am sure they had a few more things, but you get the gist of it. The sodas were pepsi, cherry pepsi, diet, gatorade, fruit punch, orange, lemonade and lite lemonade, root beer and a sweetened and unsweetened ice tea. There is also a vending machine that you can buy ice cream bars from. (Different kinds) They were $1 or $1.50. Totally reasonable. The games are all spread out, but since the place is not that big, I felt the kids were pretty safe. Most of the games spit out tickets, and since there are kids running around everywhere, beware of little thieves. LOL. There is a little car a kid could sit in and out spits a picture of that kid. Not a great quality (black and white on paper) but it's still cute. There is also a booth that will take another picture of 2 people. Still black and white on paper, but was nice. I know at movie theaters, those machines would charge $3-5 a piece. Also, all the games are just one coin each, which I thought was pretty cool. That helps with the coins lasting, which my 90 did. I would say the perfect age for kids loving it here is 2-9. I am sure some 10+ year olds would still think it's fun. I happened to see a friend of mine here and she was with her 12 year old daughter, 16 year old son and his girlfriend. They looked like they were having fun, but not in the way the screaming 4 year olds were. LOL. Given that there is food, soda, ice cream and hyped up kids everywhere, the place is pretty clean. I did not go into the bathrooms, so I cannot speak for those. The staff was all hustling, and seemed like they liked their jobs for the most part. They were setting up for a party, and it looked nice. Pretty simple, but the staff did a nice job. I really liked our experience here and plan on frequenting often. read more

I visited this place with my family just last week. I was very disappointed in a few things, first on how this place is ran. Second how dirty most of the games are (I get their are plenty of kids) but being their first thing on a Sunday morning, things should of looked better. Well let's say when first entering they have to stamp you and your party, their was only one employee helping us, from stamping to taking our food order. She was pretty busy, she was trying to help us and than she had more people entering, waiting to get stamped in, meanwhile there is people waiting to get prizes. She was the only one helping everyone, so it took a while to get our order together. When I ordered beer she needed to call someone else to help, who was of age to serve us. Than they got our food order wrong, when I ordered dessert they came to tell us they did not have that to throw in the oven. So we ordered a cookie which was really gross and under cooked. I'am seating down observing and see how everyone is still waiting to get prizes order food and enter, meanwhile the manager (Art) is on scene but never helped out his staff, he just came out made sure all the games were good, I'm sure he had to have seen how busy it was getting, but never came out to help out. As a manager out on the floor if he sees guest he should make sure everything is okay, check with his staff as well. We waited like 15 minutes or more to get my kids prizes. I actually went to see how everything was their so I have my child's party here and I'm glad I went I will take my $1700 somewhere else which that's how much I was quoted for my party, which I had no mind spending, but this establishment is ran poorly, and they really need to have Art go around and check to not only make sure games work, that they are also cleaned down and that families are happy. The food is not great here, but people come to bring their kids to have a decent good time. Service is horrible, they need to get better management. read more

We just had my son's 8th birthday party at this location and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The pizza used to taste like frozen pizza, but this time many of our guests commented on how good it was. We also ordered buffalo wings for the adults and everyone liked them so much that we ordered two more trays. One tip for parents hosting a party though, would be to have them bring out all of the food you've ordered at once. We waited on one pizza and it took too long to get it once we asked for it. Lesson learned for next time. We did the Super Party option, so all drinks were included and the kids got cute Chuck E. Bobble head cups as souvenirs and a mylar balloon. My son loved the birthday show and getting to go in the Ticket Blaster. The super package also gave each kid 36 tokens, which was a good start. I ordered online and did a Sunday party which gave us an extra 100+ tokens to divide between the kids. We also did the Pinata for 19.99 which was a fun activity and it had candy and more tickets so the kids really enjoyed it. The restaurant was clean and so were the restrooms. My only complaint was that some of the games were not working properly so we had to go get an attendant to fix them, but game attendants were in short supply. Overall, we were very happy with our experience at Chuck E. Cheese and will surely do a party there again. We had about 17 adults and 13 kids and our party total was 357.00. Not bad for showing up, partying and leaving. I've hosted many parties at home and at the park that top 500.00 easily and then you're left with all of the clean up. read more

I took my grandchildren and they left crying because they never wanted to leave. They had a great time. I ordered the $44 deal because it seem like the best value for the money. We stayed for three hours. I went to the Gilroy location because it is close to my house. I arrived at 2 on Saturday and got any table I wanted. I must state the place was clean, and some of the games were broke, but they were fixing them and handing out tickets if you made them aware of the problem. Now down side. The next day My grandchildren came down with chickenpolks and I'm still dealing with that. Place was clean people were not. I think I will go to San Jose next time and hopefully my children won't get sick. read more

I took Matthew here for his 6th Birthday in Gilroy. A great selection of their games were not working including the ice cream machine which was sad. The staff seems nice, but they are kids, so don't except them to really know what they are doing when there is a problem with their machines. they need to fix the ticket counting machine because its ghetto how most of them are broken. read more

OK Horrible experience!! Had my daughters birthday party here on a week night. 1.) Our Hostess was terrible. She didn't get into it at all! She didn't clean up either! 2.) They didn't offer to have our daughter go into the Ticket booth thing until it was too late 3.) We could smell the bathrooms from accross the resturant! it was HORRIBLE! 4.) We bought a Pinata online, but they never gave it to us! 5.) MANY MANY tables throughout the resturant had unbussed tables iwht pizza that must have been hours old still sitting there, napkins all over the floor! 6.) Salad bar area looked like a tornado hit it, like as if they hadn't cleaned it for hours and hours 7.) The Chucke E Cheese Robot was broken, and held together with electrical tape!!! 8.) The staff was not manning the exit, and letting children/parents leave without checking stamps 9.) manager was supposed to come and talk to us about our experience, this didn't happen. This next one can't be changed, but needs to be addressed. This resturant is WAY WAY too small. it needs to be bigger by a factor of at least 3! If you remember Chucky Cheese from Tuly Road San Jose from the 80's.(it is the first Chucky Cheese) . yeah, Gilroy is like a 1/4 that size or smaller! Bottom line is don't have your kids party here! You will regret it!
