Lots of parking, yummy pizza, cheap games, a play structure and a big mouse!! It's a kid's heaven! This location is a lot cleaner (it's new) than the other CEC's and not as dark and dingy. I'm also glad that I don't have to drive to PC or Aina Hina any more! We got the #1 combo: Med 2 topping pizza with 2 drinks (2 medium and 2 kiddie cups - refillable) plus 25 tokens (games are one each) for $29.99. I thought it was reasonable, since movies and some other activities are waaay more expensive for a family of 3 and at least the kids get to be active here. I thought we might need more food (the salad bar looked really fresh) but I was actually really satisfied after a few slices of pizza. The pepperoni and mushroom was delish! Only minor downer, is that some of the games are broken and you lose a token, but it's not a regular thing and you can easily get someone to help you get it back if you're that desperate. Lots of easy and hard games and a bunch of "ridey" toys (merry go round, clifford, big safari truck, etc.). Sunday at 2pm was really busy, but we didn't wait in any lines to order or play games. The prizes are still pretty lame (plastic stuff that break when you get to the car), but I guess you can't complain since the games were cheap and they give you lots of tickets. Oh Chuck E Cheese how you used to scare me as a child with your creepy dancing animals with their eyes going in the back of their head. You used to give me nightmares even though I loved playing your games. Fast forward to today, yes I still love playing your games but you still give me nightmares! Oh and the kids that run around there give me nightmares when they try to shove my son out of the way to get to the games. Came here for a five year old kid's birthday and unless you're willing to push kids back when they shove your kid, it's not worth the headache. I am a mama bear and I willingly admit it. I don't like when people push my 17 month old kid around because he is trying to get to the same game as you. The food here is expensive but there are coupons to make it only a little less expensive. Maybe if it was a little cheaper, my friend wouldn't have made all the adults pay for their food even though she invited us (the parents as well as the kids) and it was a birthday party. Yes that was very strange on her part and I've asked around if it was normal (everyone told me no)... but if you could lower your price Chuck E Cheese, maybe i wouldn't despise you so much. Yes everything is overpriced except for their quarter games... but when you get tickets, good luck getting anything of value. We got eight tickets (my son doesn't really know what he's doing but he has fun) and got a piece of paper... woo freaking hoo. Whatever. But honestly, I could see us getting a plastic ring or something but that's more like 20 tickets... seriously?! I have to say this is the cleanest Chuck E Cheese's I've EVER been to. It was beautiful, and even the bathrooms were clean. I would have given this place a 5 star review, but the inflation on ticket prizes is CRAZY. (But I think that's everywhere) I haven't been to a Chuck E Cheese's since I was a little kid, but my nephew had his birthday party there. I love seeing that kid happy, his smile was from ear to ear. Pulling me around to play one game after another. Of course he lost all interest in me and everyone else once Chuck E himself came out and gave him his birthday crown. This is a GREAT family fun center, and the food is actually pretty good. Not at all healthy, but the pizza beats most Pizza Huts on the island. Came in for my daughters 8th birthday party, quite surprised it wasn't crowded as it normally was. It was perfect. We Had our host Aleesa and she was really good, very nice, and went through everything in ordering our food.! This place in Dillingham is bigger than the one in Pearl City. Love how the employees work together to make this place fun and safe for the kids and to make them feel special on their special day. I think I liked the unique stamping of your families hands so before you leave, they check to see the stamp matches your childs one. NICE SAFETY method =) The games were cheap (one coin per play) EVERY GAME. But the games didnt give much tickets as to "some other places". The prize selection is kind of poor. Then they had only one boy working to help fix the games on top of that it looked like he was bussing tables... It was our friend's birthday party that we came to this place. Simply put, for adults it's not that exciting but for kids it's an awesome place!! Parking: There's a lot of parking in the shopping center. I recommend to park as close to the place if you plan to stay late, because it gets really dark. Ambience: It's a pretty spacious place to eat pizza, play games or even have a party! The staff are really nice and friendly. The kids really enjoy playing at the kids section because they have like a huge slide area where they run around the tubes up and down. Also they have small kiddie rides that just goes up and down... I thought it looked boring. My husband played at the arcade area but he said all the games were outdated and some screens were discolored. My daughter wanted to ride the jeep car but it was broken! The prize area wasn't that great at all!! When we tried to redeem the tickets it took us a long time to decide because there was nothing that we really wanted. So I just came back from my bf's cousins son's birthday party and I have to say that it's your normal chuck e cheese place. Loud, Crazy, plenty kids, and etc. But if you are trying to get the regular tables you might want to go as early as possible, thank god that his family let us share there tables. But we were about to sing happy birthday at 7:30, his cousin did let them know that because they give a free piece of cake and they sing happy birthday with chucky. It took them more than 30 mins just to actually get that all started, we told them more than once and they still haven't come yet. But after we reminded them about 3x we finally sang happy birthday. There food has gotten very expensive and I also heard that to even have a party here is very expensive as well. But if your planning on coming just to come, make sure to always look on the catalogs or your newspaper ads because you can find some good coupons. Very loud, chaotic, but all the kids had a blast We reserved for 10 seats for around $130. That includes decorations, 2 single topping medium pizzas, drinks, and 130 tokens. They also included 10 additional chairs for the adults. You basically have a whole table for your party. You get the table for 2hrs then your ushered to the booths. Pizzas no round tables but it's pretty good. Id actually order out from here if it was cheaper. But as a package its not a bad deal. Ordered the boneless buffalo wings which was just average, and the sandwich platter which was pretty good. Fresh lettuce tomato, turkey. For a party of 15-20 we spent around $300 not including tip. The extra food we ordered came with 120 additional token so we were rich! All the games are a token with a good selection of basketball, racing, bowling, and the moving car rides. At 5:30pm, I called the Pearl City location but there was no answer. I called several times with over 10 rings with no success. As a final effort (before resorting to Pizza Hut), I called the Dillingham location to find out if the Pearl City location was open and for an alternate phone number. There's a playground?! Anyways, bought 89 coins with a bonus of 10 coins for 20 bucks. For 2 kids that's a winner. Our children love Chuck E Cheese....we bring them almost twice a month because they feel very comfortable. Great staff that acknowledge us everytime we come in, we feel comfortable with our children playing trusting that the staff are around. Staffs check on us to make sure we are ok while we are there. Staffs are easy to talk to and they also play with our children. Especially at the Dillingham location. There was an older gentleman there who sat right next to us when the entire restaurant was available. He was nice, but it was a little uncomfortable to have this man by himself engage us in conversation about raising kids, religion, prejudices, etc. I'm guessing he is a regular because the staff talked to him like they were good friends. Most importantly, customer service was AWESOME!! In this day & age, good service is hard to come by. I was extremely surprised by the service of the workers. Maybe cause it's still new, or maybe cause I never used the restrooms the two times I was there...but I'd go back (for a kid's birthday party of course!)!! The pizza is consistently good (some of my friends say it's the best pizza) and their other sides (chicken wings, fries, cheese stars, etc.) are pretty tasty! The employees could use a bit more help in the enthusiasm department when it came to the "entertainment", but I don't blame them. A lot. There's lots of parking and it's not as far as their Pearl City location (for me) and their old Aina Haina one too! Been here numerous times for birthday parties and also just for some family times since my 2 year old son loves this place. It's best go when they open-- not overly crowded and my thinking is that there is less germs. On my recent visit I was quite impressed with how clean the facilities were--- when I went to the salad bar a worker was there making sure that the salad bar was clean, always stocked with fresh veggies and fruit, and even wiped down each serving spoon for the dressing. Also, each time I went to the bathroom, there was a worker there who was wiping down the sinks and checking the stalls. As a mother, this was great to see as I always appreciate a place that they do their best to keep things as clean as possible. It can get pricey--- but my hubby and I agreed that seeing the happiness in my son is definitely worth it! read more

We have come here for a number of birthday parties including having my son's party here. It's really a fun place for kids, while I personally think they could improve their game selections, my kids have always enjoyed themselves so much here and they never want to leave. The pizza and other food is not bad, it's like comfort food or treat yourself food... not too healthy... although there is a salad bar, which I have yet to try. For $20 you can get 80 tokens which is the best value for money and this should last at least an hour or so of game time! It can get crowded here on the weekends but it's a fun environment. My kids love the Chuck E Cheese birthday dance/song. There's plenty of free parking in front of the store and I like stopping at Shaka Shaka on the way out too for smoothies. I called to place a birthday party for tomorrow and who ever answered the phone put me on hold twice and can not speak English for the life of me. ‍ I had to repeat my phone number over and over to her. Chuck E. Cheese is one of our reward stops for the kid. The rule in our house states that if the kid does well in school, he gets a trip to Chuck E. Cheese once a month. So far we've had to keep to our promise. I'm glad that we finally have a CEC closer to our house. Though Pearl City's not too far away, we'd usually drive all the way to Aina Haina for obvious reasons. City Square's just a short drive down Nimitz Highway. Parking at City Square can be tough, especially on a week day when the DMV is open. The weekends are still busy but parking's usually found after circling the lot at least once. This CEC is clean and still brand new. I hope it stays that way for a while. The menu is still obscenely overpriced, so I make sure we eat before or after our CEC visit. For the prices they charge for a pizza, it had better be created and cooked by the guys at JJ Dolan's or V Lounge! Though we've attended parties here for our friends and family, it's very unlikely that we'll hold a party here for our son. Games are still 1 Token each, hardly a ripoff compared to Fun Factory and Dave and Buster's. Coupons can usually be found in Hawaii Parent Magazines -- and for $10, the kid can go to town on tokens and be entertained for hours. At a loss for where to have a party for our boys first birthday, we chose Chuck E Cheese even though we would have preferred a nice outdoor party (but the weather this time of year is no good) Does $12.95 per person seem like too much for a pizza party? You get 12 tokens, drinks, and 2 slices of pizza per person. Being on a budget, we thought this would be sufficient but it turns out 2 slices of pizza can be really, really small. For a party of 40, we got 8 medium pizzas. Each pizza was cut into 10 slivers, so contractually, they met their promise. In reality, we had to order 4 more pizza's so that everyone at least got something to eat. And dont get me started on the size of a medium. I know everything has been hit with the shrink ray, but back when I was younger, this was a small, not a medium! We got charged $19 per additional 'medium' one topping pizza. You can say we've been spoiled by cheap slices from Costco but the value just isnt there at $12.95 per person. They could have given us a heck of alot more pizza and we would have spent that money on more tokens The taste of the pizza is better then youd expect, since the main thing here is for kids to play video games and have fun. I usually associate Chuck E. Cheese with dirty and unsanitary. Every time i go it smells like feet & i see children running around with runny noses touching everything. I told myself that i will never take my daughter there. I don't want her getting sick. Unfortunately, my daughter kept begging me to go. So, i took her. I went early on a thursday, so it was nice and quiet. Not a lot of kids. Perfect! Surprisingly, it was clean and orderly. The food was good too! I only remember eating breadsticks from here. We ordered a small bbq chicken pizza. It taste just like CPK! We also ordered cheese bread. Yum! I ate it all! The only thing i didn't like was that it was pretty expensive! I was extremely happy with the service that we received that night we went. It was at 5pm so it was the perfect amount of people. The guy who greeted at the door was very personable and polite. The cashier was extremely patient (with our food allergy double checking questions), she was very pleasant and friendly. Chuck E and staff came to sing and my son was super happy!!!! The play area was as "clean" as it was in Aina Haina, so I was extremely happy about that. All games were 1 token! Awesome.. cuz 100 tokens lasted the whole night!
