This location has recently upgraded it's token system to cards that you load like credit cards. This is much more easier and they have also added a few more games that make the selection a little bit more diverse. As an adult I definitely get stuck on the basketball games while the kids play and have some fun. They have very decent food packages as well along with a plethora of coupons in the paper's coupon books etc. The traditional birthday show is always great as well and They do have a ticket blaster at this location. The selection of prizes are subpar as you pay like $50 just to get a few pieces of candy and a hairband. It's all about the kids at the end of the day so it does not matter, just a personal thought on kids return on investment. The employees here definitely follow the strict rule of stamping the left hand in making sure it matches before every kid leaves with every family member. I really like this as I have seen in the past some people slack and even though you know that is their kid, it could happen to anyone. Safety is definitely a big deal here and this is the only Chucky cheese in town so they definitely make it worth the time! Have fun and God speed Trying not to hit the kids as this location is very hectic.

No longer serves beer and the food is sub par. Still a decent place for kids to play.

As we walked up to the fluff pumper, with our capybara bears, the woman(?) snatched them. My friend and I talked amongst ourselves while she pumped the bears with the fluff. When the foot got lifted from the pedal so she could stitch the back of the bear up, one of us looked at the other and whispered a joke about "imagine if someone just stepped on the pedal and the fluff flew around the store." Notice how I mention, neither of us actually said we do it. It was COMPLETELY HYPOTHETICAL. Somehow, her ecolocation ears picked up on this silly remark and immeditally got beligerant and put an end to our convo and our silly mood. She said "Ohhhh so you think youre funny?" With a sarcastic and conniving voice. and we side eyed each other out of confusion because we didnt understand what was so wrong about a little joke that had no intention behind it. then she adds on to it when we dont respond and says " You also think you're five years old??" Implying that we, as 15 years olds, were too old to be shopping at Build a Bear. What happened to the loving environment that appeals to minors,--which we still were? I was utterly shocked, me and my friend sat there in silence, still not responding to that edgy comment. Ever since, I ( and my friend) have vowed never to return. I do not believe her reaction was needed and we very obviously were not going to do that thing, we joked about wondering what would the outcome be if someone were to do it. Anyways, the capybaras were cute and I have had other good experiences here, prior to the one mentioned, and I could not exclude that from this passionate review.

When got there the girls quickly found what they wanted but the voice recorder was broke. I was heart broken. Then one of the employees said we have the old system recorders what if we did that. She literally saved the day. The girls were able to get the stuffed animals they wanted. They had a blast filling them!

I am strong. (muscles up) I am brave. (hands on hips)…read moreI can do this. (thumbs up) IYKYK Currently on a subscription and at least 10 visits under our belt (a green shirt to prove it). We're at a strong 4/5 here and would recommend to any families that need to challenger their kid to be more OK with social settings and activities before they get into school and overwhelmed with the social pressure. I'd say my rating is more about the experience with certain staff over others more than anything. So, let's get into it. Generally the place looks tremendously clean (bathrooms too), with plenty of seating for observers - a little tight though as kids are coming in and out between sessions. The staff to greet you in is usually on point for friendliness and directing to the right spots - most of the time I perceive it's a manager or someone in supervision. Our son is Level3 ASD and has his own series of challenges. For the most part the instructors he had at the start were super understanding of him - even trying at times to help and other times to leave him be (and understood why he needed space). Our current ones? Maybe not so much...you can always tell when people are annoyed and if you think the children don't see it then you are dead wrong. That aside, I am tremendously grateful that at times they let 2 of us be with our son, especially when he's having issues. At the "little gym" down the road for example we were scolded openly about rules and "only 1 inside" before we could explain anything. Needless to say we cancelled it there. Room for improvement? At times I think the curriculum is too challenging for walking to 2 years old - examples are trying to do burpees and tug of war...if I didn't compromise other kids privacy I'd record it to show how uneventful it is due to them just simply being too little. My feedback is, try to adjust the curriculum to make more sense for the littles. For bigger kids I'm sure it's a blast.
