    Ants in my pants!
    Greg R.

Look down before you sit or you might get ants in your pants. And that's not a game I'd like to play. Now if there were wasn't an army of ants invading my personal space, I'd give this place 5 stars. Hey, it's helluva fun for the kiddies. And the ants don't eat much anyway. Other than that, great place to take the kids!!

Its been several years since we have been to this location. Today we made a visit and were very happy with the service. It was our 4 year olds first time to visit and she had a great time. The restaurant was highly clean and kept up with. Thank you to all the employees for being helpful and providing a great experience. We look forward to our next visit

This is likely the best cake ever.

Most people run from Chuck E. Cheese's. I roll in head first. I worked for the Denton location in 2006 and hadn't been back since. A friend of mine had a birthday party for her son at this Lewisville location. Since you can no longer enter without a kiddo, I was excited for the opportunity to enjoy pizza and cake and play a few games. Overall, this location is great. It was clean, and even pretty "situationally clean." The games were in working order, and tge staff was visible. The pizza was as good as I recalled and the white cake was amazing. The kiddo requested that it have Chuck E. on it and they made it happen. The cake was really the only sticking point. When I worked for the company all cakes were frozen. When someone would order them (almost always as part of a large party), they would pull them out and by the time they thawed the customer was ready. In Denton we ran into this same issue. As time passed more and more individual customers were ordering cakes and waiting an exceptional amount of time. It became such an issue wheh I was employed there that we finally got the idea that we may need to keep 2 or 3 thawed on a Saturday. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I was super excited at the variety of prizes. All the characters were represented in prizes, and that used to be a complaint as well. I had to get a Mr. Munch plush! This location is exceptionally clean, the perfect size, has goof food and friendly staff. Just order your cake very early, probably an hour before you want it!

Food isn't that great, but the games are fun. The layout is nice. Place was clean and busy. Staff was very friendly. 2 hours was plenty of time to win a toy spider.

This chuckee place is one of the smaller ones in the metroplex. Got good enough range of games to play and the staffs are friendly; however, you'll be welcomed with a lovely stench smell as you walk in. I see the staffs clean all the time but I think they just need to get rid of their carpet. It's a stench that will linger around the whole entire time you're there... They've got the coolest Disney Car's driving game though so it gets 2 stars....

From the adult perspective - the customer service is lacking, the prices are steep and the main…read moreattraction - the race cars, are slow and expensive. The race cars are really the main attraction here and the entire place revolves around the racing. You cannot make a reservation. It's a first come, first serve situation. There are four racing categories (see below), so if you come with a group of mixed ages or heights you may not all be able to race together (I've witnessed this shock when birthday parties assume they can race together). The Intermediate and Junior Races are slower than you'd assume. I could jog faster, but the WORST part is the speed. They go so slow and are controlled so it's nearly impossible to pass another racer or actually RACE! The Mini Mario has some speed and speed is adjusted based on the general age of the racers in the heat. The cost is $29 down to $15, which doesn't sound horrible, but after waiting for a long time for your group to be called and then racing for 1min to 7 minutes, the cost is really high! High enough you're not likely to get in line and do it again. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Ugh. There are kiosks and a giant line with actual people at a counter. Don't be mistaken YOU MUST go to the kiosk FIRST and fill out waivers, although there are no signs anywhere telling you that. We've filled out waivers on line before arriving, only to find ourselves at the front of the line and told "we can't find it, now to to the kiosks and get back in line". It's awful. The employees don't seem to like their jobs, or likely are sick of people being upset at them for the HORRIBLE process management has set up. We've never been able to find someone on the floor to help us when a video game eats our money or doesn't work either. The guys in the race area are hit or miss. Sometimes they're patient and kind. Other times they mumble and seem pissed off to be there. GAMES: The video games are the same as other places around town, but after driving all the way out here, searching for parking and then racing for 5 minutes we've always felt like we need to play a few games to make the trip worth it. FOOD: We've never eaten here, but it's basic bar food (hamburger, hot dogs, nachos, etc) and the cost is high for such basic food. We'd rather pay the same amount for better food options in the area. All that to say, expect to spend $$$ to come race, eat and play at Andrettis. Make sure your group has checked the height & age requirements to make sure you can race together. And finally, come with a lot of patience. ----- Race Categories ----- ADULT RACE 7- Minute Heat. Adult Races are for drivers at least 54" Tall and either 18+ yrs old or 15+ yrs old with State Issued Driver's License or Permit. Max Weight: 300 lbs. INTERMEDIATE RACE: 7- Minute Heat. Intermediate Races are for drivers at least 54" tall. Recommended Minimum Age: 12 yrs old. Max Weight: 300 lbs JUNIOR RACE: 7- Minute Heat. Junior Races are for drivers at least 48" Tall. Recommended Minimum Age: 7 yrs old. MINI MARIO KART RACE: 5- Minute Heat. Minimum Height: 36″ Tall. Maximum Weight: 90lbs. Recommended Ages: 4-6 yrs old.

Had I written a review though, I would have undoubtedly given 4 or 5 stars. But, over the years the appeal has steadily diminished, along with the frequency of my visits, to the point that I now only show up to attend an occasional child's birthday party. During my last visit/party there wasn't one activity that went smoothly. First of all, some of the laser tag equipment wasn't working properly. The staff had to swap out the gear for several kids after the game had begun, cutting their already limited play time even shorter. Also, numerous arcade games were either completely out of order or malfunctioned during game play. Unfortunately, these machines still worked well enough to take money/credits from game cards. When it came time to have lunch there weren't enough meals made for all the kids, despite the fact that they were ordered well in advance. These poor children sat and watched everyone else finish their food before theirs was finally served. It's too bad that this particular birthday party didn't include bowling, because that was always fun and without issues in the past. It might have even made up for some of the setbacks that the party guests experienced. I think kids tend to be more forgiving, so I'm sure most of them would jump at the chance to go back (I know mine would!). If it were entirely up to me, however, I would not return. But thanks for the memories Main Event.
