We visited family who lives in the area some time ago and decided to give the kids some time to play and have fun! This was the first Chuck E. Cheese we visited and they had a blast! There were so many fun games for a 3,4 and 6 year old! My daughter loved the indoor playground play area! What I did not love though, was that it was $19.99! (Come on! That's a bit much!! In addition to the cost of playing the video games etc). My son wanted in too, but he did not even stay long in the indoor playground to make it worth it at all! Bummed. I was pleasantly surprised that we all enjoyed the thin crust, stuffed crust pizza! It was delicious. Even though our points didn't get us much prizes, the kids had an awesome time! After driving past this for over 10 years finally got a chance to visit it. It's a nice arcade like setup. Lots of games inside. Relatively clean and most games are functional. Huge space for dining as well. Menu has items like pizza, wings, fries and dips. Food prices are little bit expensive but games are cheaper. There's option to buy game points based on time or number of points. We went for a birthday. Each group gets their own bench and table. It's nicely organized with plates and cups. After playtime of an hour, the assistant gets all kids in for food and drinks. Then there's the birthday song ritual and visit from Chuck E. The associates are help throughout the party with setup, organizing, time management and eventually clean up and wrapping. The food is decent, not the best. The plain pizza I ate, had thin crust with good cheese flavor. One of the soda machines had low gas, drinks were watery. Luckily there was a second machine that had better tasting sodas. This is one of the best Chuck E Cheese locations in my area that I've been to. The size and selection of games are GREAT! They just recently renovated the jump area and added a "playground" that's attached for an additional $15 per child (socks included). My son wanted to come here. I've never been to Chuck E Cheese before. This place is definitely catered to the younger kids, not sure if adults actually enjoy this place. We had the extra large pizza with vegetables and it was actually quiet decent. Their salad bar was decent as well. The kids had a blast playing the games here as well as jumping on the trampoline. Beware of this membership scam. I was told it would be more cost effective to purchase a two month membership last week and it can be used by anyone in my family as long as they provide the phone number on the account. Today my mother provided my phone number and was told "there is no account." The woman charged my mother and when I called this location, the manager said he does see my account on file and is not sure why the woman said that. He then proceeded to tell me they cannot refund my mothers card or issue a gift card. He was not willing to help or provide a name at all. Terrible customer service from this location. This review is based on the food, games, and cleanliness of the facility. The facility overall seemed clean. The bathroom was pretty clean. We ordered a large cheese pizza, a "regular" size order of buffalo chicken wings, a salad bar salad, and French fries. When I placed the order, I asked them to make the wings well done. It took about 25 min to come out ready. The wings were shockingly small. The girl at the counter told us there would be 8-10 wings. Our order was 7 tinyyyy wings that were like barely warm and barely had any buffalo sauce on it. They were definitely not crispy whatsoever and instead were most likely barely cooked from frozen and fatty. Yuck. The pizza was alright I guess, it would have been good to have more sauce maybe. The fries were not crispy and literally a pale white color, the color they are when they're not done cooking lol This order total was $70! Insanity for crappy food. We went with a 3.5 year old and a 5.5 year old. They had a ton of games that weren't appropriate for this age range. Probably better for kids about 8-12 in age. They had a small section for small children/toddlers which was great for our kids. It was just so crowded and so many other small kids were also waiting for these to be available. I came here for a birthday party. This was the first time I went to Chuck E. Cheese in several years. I was pleasantly surprised. The facility was very spacious, clean and full of awesome arcade games for all ages. My child is three years old and there were so many games appropriate for her age, as well as older children. The pizza and chicken were also very good, much better then I had anticipated. Unlimited fountain drinks!!! There was lots of seating for dining. This location was probably one of best Chuck E. For a variety of reasons I came here pre and post COVID. Pre-covid, it was still the era of using paper tickets (thank god that's over) and there was still plenty of folks here not only playing on the machines but also dining. The pizza here wasn't nearly as horrible as some places make it out to be, but let's face it you don't come here to eat the food. You want your kids to grab something in between their fun. Anyway, foodwise, it is what it is. Think of it as eating mediocre stadium food, but it's not inedible by any stretch. I had a few slices of the cheese pizza and it was fine. As for the current pandemic era, as you'd expect there are far less people here than I remember from the past. That's not a bad thing actually if you're skeevish about being around too many people right now ... especially if you come first thing in the morning which is m preferred time. My little one craves activities so we try to come in short bursts when it's less crowded. The machines here are mostly fine. I rarely encounter any broken ones. In terms of covid precautions, there is the obligatory temperature check and hand sanitizer process along with the selfie requirement for child safety/check purposes. There are a fair amount of machines here with a decent amount of variety. For the most part the machines are clean tho I tend to come earlier in the day when they do their cleaning rounds so I can't speak for how the afternoons/evenings go with more foot traffic. However, generally speaking I've run into few issues here. Whenever we had trouble with any machines the staff was responsive and gave us credit/tickets as reimbursement. At times it does seem like the staffing is a bit on the thin side but beyond that I've had no issues with this place. They also do keep tabs on masks on folks as well. read more

I decided that I took my kids to Chuck E. Cheese too eat and play.half of the games weren't working and just took point off of the card. While the kids were playing we ordered food. We got to x-large pizzas and medium bbq wings boneless and bone in and 8 drinks that came to a total of 106 we got it through the mobile order. It was 6:29 when we placed the order and when it was 6:57 we asked if our food was almost ready the lady said yes it was ready but we didn't get it yet and they kept rolling their eyes and being disrespectful and they were being rude about everything at about 7:20 we got our food they didn't give it to us as told we got it and when we saw how it looked it was bad the pizza looked flat and it was cold it was old and hard and the wings I said I got bone-in and boneless and it was only boneless and it wasn't medium it was small their was like 5 pieces for 24 dollars? That's crazy.I was mad so I went to talk to her and she was giving me a bad attitude and being rude. When back in Jersey about 2 weeks ago my mom and I took my son to this place and it wasn't great! There were way too many people in there not enough with mask. It wasn't clean and smelled horrible! The bathrooms were disgusting!! I was sanitizing every myself with alcohol wipes before my kid touched it. And after he finished playing or using it. The staff wasn't great! I haven't been to Chuck E. Cheese in forever ago. It always had this loud and too busy feel. Not a place I'd like to frequent. But boy did this arcade change my mind! I came here for a 3 year olds birthday party. And from the moment you walk in, you are greeted and told to take a pic of you and your child together and show that when you leave, for safety reasons, huge plus! Gigantic place, solid cleanliness, especially in the restroom. We walked to the back for the birthday area. There were about 6 tables lined up and 4 parties going at the same time. Organized fun! They had a Chuck E Cheese robot type on a stage dancing. TVs displaying birthday music videos and colorful helium balloons on each table. The hostess brought out pizza with cheese in the crust and chicken tenders, like 5 sauces, all yummy! And refillable soda cups. All the kids received a souvenir cup and a goody bag. Chuck E Cheese himself came out to greet the children and take pictures! This location was not super busy, but all kids had a chance to try out the games and the rides. Went with grandsons ages 3, 6, 8. Not for a party. We went as soon as it opened but it got crowded within the first half hour. The machines, games and rides were fine, although several rides for the 3yr old didn't work. Because the card is for the time you pay for (for ex, we paid for an hour per card) and there is sometimes a wait for a particular game, conceding this isn't a bad system, it can be frustrating. We did a pizza lunch and it was fine for the type of place this is. The staff was ok; when going to collect the "prizes" at the end of the play hour, there was only one staffer who said she could only help one at a time. The line was quite long. What a disappointment this place is. I grew up going to the one in Brooklyn next to Caesar's Bay and it was amazing. Always had a great time and never wanted to leave. Until they tossed us out and turned it into a Kmart. The one is Paramus is disgusting. The coin system and ticketing system is not favorable or easy to understand. The games are so close together and more then half of the games are five seconds or less. The tickets are pathetic. We spent $60 on the card and chased in a few thousand tickets. We walked out with a few plastic fake bugs and a bouncy ball. Complete garbage. The place was also overrun with undesirables. Lots of undershirts, tattoos and obnoxious parents screaming at the kids to get over here. Did see Eli Manning and his daughter playing basketball for most of the time. That was the highlight. Seriously. Why are people being so negative about this place? Chuck E. Cheese is a child's heaven on earth. This was my second time (my son's third) and he and I love it. OK, yes some of the games were broken (maybe 2-3, staff was working on fixing them) and the location looks slightly old and run down. But SO WHAT!! Two hours went by so quickly and although my five year old was sad his time was up, disappointment switched back to joy very quickly as he claimed his tickets and chose his prizes. OK, yes the prizes are incredibly small and very cheap (we spent over 800 tickets in a tiny wind up rat) but again, this is KIDS HEAVEN. Not sure why the reviews are so bad for this establishment but my experience was GREAT! I helped my best friend plan his son's 7th birthday party here this past Saturday and both of the hostess were extremely helpful. He ended up getting the Mega Star package which pretty much included everything making my life so much easier! With this package each kid had 2 slices of pizza along with juice and 2 hours of unlimited play on their cards which only activated after playing the first game. This was awesome by the way because most of the parents arrived late lol Each kid also received a souvenir cup for future visits and they even had a piñata. What I didn't expect was the moms to go after some of the items in the piñata in particular the tickets for their kids!! Quite a sight but super fun!! The birthday kid also gets 1000 tickets and the chance to go into a ticket blaster machine to get even more. My advice is to make sure your party arrives on time since they do run on a schedule. All the tables for the kids parties are in one section so they are running on a schedule. This means that Chuck E Cheese himself comes out at a designated time to greet and take picture with the kids, the ticket blaster happens at a certain time and the singing of happy birthday is all coordinated. Overall, they have a smooth operation as far as birthdays are concerned. They even helped me decorate the table with the stuff I brought and I was able to put more goodies into the already packed goodie bags they provided. They also packed up any leftover food for us to take home. Only negative is that you do have to feed the tickets into a machine before redeeming any of the prizes which was tedious but all the kids had a great time and the food was pretty good too! We also ordered extra pizza and wing platters for the adults...all were yummy! Wings came boneless and with the bone in different flavors. We got regular, buffalo and bbq and everyone enjoyed them. This is one of those rare places that makes me want to commit suicide. My chick was absolutely starving and on the verge of passing out when we got to the Paramus Macy's. She had skipped lunch and by the time we arrived, she said she couldn't go on, not one more inch, to search for food. Unfortunately, the only food option within an inch of Macy's was this Chuck E. Cheese's. So, despite my stiff resistance, we wound up going in. This place is so bad, it actually gives me a headache to think about it. When you walk in, you are hit with a noxious combination of screaming children, uber loud video games, and crappy food stank. I was immediately woozy and wanted to run far, far away, but my girl soldiered on and headed for the salad bar, while I found a booth to collapse into. The food, as you may imagine, was unremarkable. There were some fresh veggies, but also a lot of gross mayo based salads, and some canned stuff like beets and beans all snug in tiny buckets under very fancy sneeze guard. I just want to say the staff here is great I encountered today. I went this afternoon for just a fun after school treat for my daughter, and it was mostly young women working the front, and these ladies were on top of it. They knew there stuff, offered helpful advice, and were very pleasant. This is my second time at this location, and the food was much better than expected, it's clean, and my daughter who is five had a blast! We even were waiting on line for a prize, and a young woman noticed we were waiting for a little (which was perfectly fine a little boy had some tough decisions to make on prizes), and she swiped her card and immediately helped us. An employee REFUSED to let me leave because he suspected me of kidnapping my own son, even though our UV stamps MATCHED, meaning we came in together. No explanation. No apology. I was infuriated, embarrassed, inconvenienced... My son is autistic and during this whole ordeal, I had to hold his arm to keep him from wandering away. My wife, just having knee surgery, was waiting in the car for me, in pain, just wanting to get home and I had to deal with this garbage. The employee would not let me leave (actually put up a barrier!!) unless he saw a photo of my son on my cell phone from "a different day." They messed up my kids wrist bands and I came back up to the counter literally 30 seconds later and they acted like they didn't know who I was. Went during the week. It wasn't crowded, however for some reason the food took almost two hours and when it arrived half the items weren't there. We were ready to leave so I went to ask for a refund and they were nice about it. Management did remedy the situation and the staff was really nice however they need better quality control and communication with customers. Also note, a side order of fries which was about $5 was barely enough for one person. When we questioned the amount we were told it was "weighed". We were told the same thing as we ordered the family wings and only received enough or 2 people. Literally 10-12 wings. Its tough because in the past the portions were larger and less money.
