I learned what time Chuck E. Cheese gets very busy. We usually come in the morning so I never felt like Chuck E. Cheese was crazy busy. This time we came after my son's nap which was about 4 PM and I learned exactly when Chuck E. Cheese is crazy busy. There were a ton of birthday parties, every single birthday party table was full. Luckily, during the time we were there a lot of birthday parties seem to be ending, so by the time we needed to get our prizes, there wasn't a line. So I think the moral of the story is if you come on a Saturday, make sure it's not between 1 PM and 3 PM, or else you are coming at the most jampacked time. The people who work here tried to keep up with the crazy demands. At one point I didn't see anyone staffing the prize area even though there was a line waiting. And there was only one person who was at the cashier, checking people in. So definitely keep your eye on when there's people at the counters, because it isn't always a guarantee. I also learned this time that it takes about 10 minutes for your pizza to be ready. I ordered the pizza when we had 15 minutes of playtime left, and my buzzer went off with five minutes to go. So instead of pausing the game card, we let the kids finish their time and then they came to the table to meet me for pizza. It was kind of weird, but they make you take your cups and plates, even if you decide to order your pizza later. So we had to carry the plates and cups the entire time we played. Even though it seemed pretty busy, like there was no parking in the front parking lot so we had to go to the back, there are still enough games that my kids were never waiting for one. In the end after an hour, they each had about 400 points which was enough to get some cute prizes. We got a half cheese, half pepperoni pizza and it was pretty good. This isn't the best pizza in the world, but it is far from the worst. In the end, my kids always enjoy coming here, so I'm sure we'll be back. read more

Decided to have my daughter's birthday at Chuck E. Cheese. When we arrived, we noticed the temperature inside was warmer than expected. We checked in at the front and got all our cards and supplies for our birthday party. We asked if there was a problem with the AC and the cashier said that they were having some issues because of how hot the heat index was in FL.... After I got all the partygoers set up, I went to check in on the food. It took a while for the food to come out, but when we got the cheese and pepperoni pizza it was cut into very tiny pieces but I figured it was for the kids. The slices were uneven especially the amount of cheese and sauce some slices had cheese and some didn't. When we sat down to eat the temperature was getting hotter it was so warm inside it was uncomfortable. We were literally sweating 40 minutes in. We pushed through to sing happy birthday and see Chuck E. Cheese but after cake we were so ready to go. It was humid and being a closed area with a bunch of people on that heat is not how I wanted to spend my daughter's birthday especially because we booked it inside to beat the heat. The very next day, we called back to cancel due to a change in plans--but we were surprised and disappointed to learn that our deposit was non-refundable and couldn't even be applied toward a future visit (not even for pizza or games). I understand policies are in place for a reason, but it's frustrating that there's no flexibility, especially when we canceled so far in advance. I wanted to share this so other families are aware before booking--make sure your plans are 100% firm, because the deposit is final, even if you cancel within 24 hours. You must wear a face mask and social distancing is a MUST! For your safety, you must take a pic of you and your guests before entering. You also have to get your temperature checked and there is hand sanitizer for you to use. My family and I came here to take my grandkids here for a few hours. They had a blast. They ate pizza, wings and drank lemonade. They won a few prizes, but they were really excited to have played the games and rode on the small rides they have here. Very sad no tip option using credit cards! Who Carry's cash these days! These poor hostesses dealing with kids for hours and providing all the needs of parties can't get a tip by using a credit card. You go to any normal restaurant and if you have a party six or more tips are automatically included. But a party of 12 plus kids in a restaurant that doesn't have the ability to have a tip option on a credit card is pathetic! started out fine until we placed food order. we had advised our 3 little ones that after eating they could use their tokens to play games and play. after waiting for food for nearly one hour, we inquired about food order of 3 french fries and 3 cheese stick orders. we were told another 7-10 minutes. after 30 minues, we again inquired at order desk what was taking so long and were advised the birthday parties came first and there was nothing could be done about the delay. after another 15 minutes the 3 cheese stick orders came out but were not in sticks and partly burned. then the 3 french fry orders came not individually but fries on a platter which did not amount to 3 individual orders, also partly burned. we had also ordered 6 lemonade drinks that tasted like water so we switched to other drinks. no plates provided until we asked for them. your personnel was not apologetic at all. a return to your establishment will not be anytime soon if ever. read more

The earlier the better. We came for a birthday party scheduled at 10 am and had the best experience we've had at a Chuck E Cheese. As of December, 2015, every machine was operating, tickets came out of every slot, and the restaurant was in great shape. I don't know how old this place is, but it was the cleanest and best looking Chuck E Cheese I've ever been to. I can't speak to what happens later in the day, but the place was spotless for the party we attended in the morning. The staff was bright and cheery, not hung over and aloof. The parents were clean and respectable, not hung over and aloof. The children were all behaving well. It was surreal. The topper was the pizza. I expected cardboard, and it was slightly hard like cardboard, but it had a great taste of butter and/or garlic on the crust. That was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. Don't bother. A medium cheese pizza took 20+ minutes on a slow night, at least three of the rides my daughter tried to go on were broken and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The layout is also a bit boxy/compartmentalized so it's hard to navigate around groups of people at times. I definitely recommend going to the Brandon location instead. I have to say that I was a bit apprehensive about taking my grandkids out to celebrate the 1 year old's birthday , but i also want them to be able to enjoy being kids and have fond memories. So THANK YOU to Wynn (sp) and the team at the N. Dale Mabry Chuck E. Cheese for allowing us to do a last minute "makeshift" birthday party for 4. (Complete with table cloth, balloons, souvenir cups, pizza and a appearance from Chuck E.) Well- the kiddos had fun. So can I really complain? Yep, here goes! Cons: The hallway leading to the bathroom REAKS of mold. Undeniable. Its disgusting. The whole place as soon as you walk in, smelled like feet. This place doesn't have a play area or require kids to take off shoes, so there's no reason for the bad smell. The bathrooms (while they smelled nice) had flies in them and were very untidy. Several of the neater machines were broken. Bummer. Pros- The pizza was really pretty good for what it is. As a parent you tend to have a love hate relationship with Chuck! I definitely have one of those. I was actually happy when my child became old enough to not want to come here. I hated the above ground plastic maze where your child would climb up and explore...you'd hope they didn't get lost and would find their way back down without you having to make the climb or sending a staff member into the beyond to help. You didn't even know if it were clean up there, just hoped so. Well I was surprised to see during this visit that they removed that and now have a bumper car area. It looks somewhat cleaner at the surface and more spaced out. Right now they have unlimited play cards where you pay for the allotment of time and your child can play unlimited times any games during that time. Let me tell you, my child has been addicted to coming here because of that. She gets to rack up the tickets and get bigger prizes. Just in 1 45 minute slot she earned almost 2,000 tickets. She got a Razzles pillow. Love that Chuck lets you pay for the difference if you're short tickets. Only $0.1 per ticket. The staff here is very friendly-- management walks the floor and is great with the kids. If a game isn't giving tickets just find the Manager and he will take care of you. Great inexpensive fun for an afternoon. Oh and did I mention that deal is all week but on Wednesday you get 1 hour for $15!! read more
