Birthday Party No'No's We had a very disappointing experience hosting a birthday party here. Our party was scheduled for 11:00 a.m., but when we arrived, the game cards were not ready. We did not receive them until 11:33 a.m., which meant the children were sitting around for over half an hour with nothing to do. This was extremely frustrating, especially with excited kids who were ready to play. On top of that, the Ticket Blaster machine did not work at first. We had to wait an additional 15 minutes for it to be fixed, which further delayed the party and took away from the experience we paid for. Overall, the lack of preparation and multiple delays made the party feel unorganized and stressful. Disappointing experience due to poor customer service. I purchased a pizza play combo that included four drinks. When refilling iced tea, both the "sweetened" and "unsweetened" fountains were dispensing sweet tea. I calmly brought this to the manager's attention. Instead of checking the machine or offering any resolution, the manager dismissed the concern and refused to verify it, insisting the unsweetened tea was correct without even tasting or investigating. The issue wasn't the iced tea -- it was the unwillingness to acknowledge or address a legitimate customer concern. A simple check or courteous response would have made a difference. If you can roll with the changes, this place is a pretty solid venue to throw a party for young ones. We paid about $486.02 for a 2 hour window that included food, table, decorations, unlimited play for our son's friends. Yovani was super friendly and helpful making sure our guests had a very memorable time. It was really a zero stress experience for us and everyone left happy. Flexibility with guest size and changes. So this was going to be the place. I have to say, the turn-out was great and the excitement was immense! These kids enjoyed themselves thouroughly and the energy was contagious! So for me it was all worth it! George was very calm and organized. This helped me calm down as I get stressed. He was available for any questions I had or for anything that could pop up. He made the party run smoothly! I have so many fond memories of going there as a kid, and now that I have my own, it's just as fun as I remember--though I do miss the ball pit. That said, the addition of the trampoline is a nice touch. I've brought my son here for multiple birthday parties, as well as just to spend a fun day out. We haven't signed up yet, but they also offer a monthly program which seems like a great option. Right now, they have a special for birthday parties where you can get six kids for just $99. You really can't beat that deal. One of the things I love about this location is that they offer a sensory-friendly day once a month. They open earlier and turn off the loud noises, making it a great option for kids who get easily overstimulated. He's the only reason for two stars instead of one. They never did our birthday boys name call. I placed a deposit of $55 but then realized they charged me full price and never deducted the $55 deposit. Really, the reason this place is getting a 2-star rating is the musty smell. Almost like mold just not be nice. As soon as you walk through the doors, you get slapped with that smell. Came here last week with the kids. It was mostly what you'd expect that being loud, chaotic, but the kids had fun, which is what really matters. Some of the games weren't working right, but one of the guys up front at the check in box, had brown hair and I think his name was Ryan, helped fix a few of them and also cleaned my table when asked to, so props to him. The food was fine, nothing special, and the place could've been a little cleaner overall. They do monitor the entry and exit of children. Bathrooms are well maintained. If going often it is recommended to get a monthly Fun Pass, which comes with additional discounts. There are no coins and tickets anymore, just cards. Food is overpriced and generally not worth it unless to share. The menu could have more options like chicken nuggets. Worst Chuck E. Cheese I've been to. New to the area, and had the worst experience. The manager angel and the Asian boy need to be fired ! My family and i waited 40 min for the salad bar to be refilled because there was no lettuce. The lettuce was sitting on top and all staff said they couldn't switch it out because they could not leave their post. (they would have only taken one minute or less.) The manager finally came back from his lunch break, and we explained to him the issue that we had with the salad bar because our food had came out before the salad bar was available to us. The manager angel smiled and said "ok, what do you want me to do about it" How dare a manager speak to a paying customer like that. The prices are not cheap so we expect a little bit of better service. The pizza is standard Chuck E. Cheese pizza, nice and greasy. Don't eat too much. They got rid of the creepy robots a few years ago, and there's a huge screen in its place with cringey videos of kids dancing, but you know what? The videos are actually very cute. Soda machine is excellent. The people there are nice, of course. We dealt with a patient and sweet young woman named Andrea, who was handing out prizes to a gaggle of children. My son dropped a lollipop I just bought him and it shattered, and she just gave us another even as I was trying to hand her the two bucks for the replacement. indeed, the lollipops are quite brittle. I kind of miss the physical tickets, but I understand of course why they got sick of paying for all that paper and ink! What's nice is how you can buy a timed card so you can play as many games as you like (and resume when you die). Especially for us parents, because when the kids' cards suddenly stop working, it's time to go! One complaint (not a big deal, of course): I dropped a ball into the 1,000-point jug in the clown/circus game on the west wall three times, and it only counted one! Oh well. Might have cost me a few pennies worth of tickets. I must now say the best part of our visit today, as I've pointed out in other restaurant reviews: The bathrooms! Here, it's 100% score on the Jeffrey F. Yelp scale. It was super clean. The sinks had fast running water you could turn on and off with a handle, which was nice and hot; soap you could dispense by pushing a lever (no IR or motion sensors, or whatever it is other places use); and paper towels also with no motion sensors (you can just pull out what you need). Not only that, each sink had its own soap and paper towels right above it. You get the feeling they really care about you. If you want to wash your face and dry off, you can do it easily, which you can't with faucets that spray a tiny bit of water for a few seconds and turn off, or with a stupid air dryer. read more
