My niece had a birthday party at this location. Princess helped us and she did great! Thank you Princess for making it a nice experience for everyone. When we arrived we were super early but they let us in 15mins before to get set up the balloons etc. The tables were already set up for the kids with hats, plates, cups and utensils. The foods were good perfect for the kids and adults. It was a two hour party but of course we extended another two more hours outside that. It is located by the mall so there is a huge parking space. Took my grandkids here for Sunday fun day. First of all half the games didn't work. So they went over to the trampolines. They charge 15 dollars each for a pair of mandatory socks. This is a true mark up. Thankfully I have the ability to pay but what if someone was on a fixed income? I understand the Grip Socks, but the kids had grip socks. I celebrated my daughter's 6 yr birthday and someone stole her iPad. The staff at this location specifically the senior supervisor, Bertha, the name he gave me wouldn't check the cameras to verified if it was still there or who did it. He told me a detective can see the cameras. I called the cops and it came down to a district manager that doesn't work on the weekend is the only person that can see the cameras. So basically my baby's iPad is gone and chuckie cheese won't help at all. Don't come here with valuable stuff because your stuff will get stolen and there's nothing anyone will do about it. So not only are half of the games out of service, but no one is willing to fix them. I personally saw maintenance called 4 different times, but never actually saw them come out and look at anything. Now, I could have ignored that because children are running around out of control, standing on and kicking games and are bound to break things. Fine, whatever. The real issue came with their current promo. Through May 6th, if you tell an employee "I need a fun break", you are supposed to receive 50 free tickets per child with a $5 purchase. We tried this as we ordered a pizza and four drinks and the young lady had no idea what we were talking about. As we got ready to count the tickets and get prizes later on, we tried once more and again, the employee was clueless. My mother just so happened to see the manager and asked to speak with her. Upon explaining and even showing her the info (found on their website) that stated this, she replied that they knew nothing of this. After a lot of back and forth, we finally received 50 tickets per child in our group, but we shouldn't have had to argue about it. So I don't know if proper training wasn't given or this specific facility just didn't care, but either way, it should never take 20 minutes to abide by a current promo! ...the pizza was pretty good though. read more

This is probably the slowest service Ive received. However the staff is working hard and they are pretty friendly including the manager. I feel they need to hire more staff. This was my first time visiting this location. I took my 2yr old dor his very first experience of Chuck E Cheese. His birthday is next month and I wanted to try the place out to see if he would like it. Please not take your child here. The customer service is horrible all the way up to the manager. That allow people to walk in and order 20 pizza's which cause the other patrons there after to wait 2 hours for food due to this big order (That is considered catering, which should've been pre-ordered). When I questioned the manager about it he said, How was I to know that they were going to walk in order 20 pizza? (wow). Half of the games do not work and there's no out pf order sign on sight. The place is filthy and needs a pressure wash. It was time to turn in the tickets. I was the only one at the counter and a fair skin A.A female with the nastiest attitude. She would not acknowledge me but she did acknowledge the tall A.A male from work for footaction. I watched her playfully flirt with the young man, as she still ignores me and my child. She ask if he in own break and then walks over and gives him a salad to go plate. When she returns to hand him the plate, I asked if anyone is working here. She smacked her teeth and walked away like this is not my area. She was nowhere near the register to ring up the young man's order. So I know that handing him a to go plate wasn't your area as well. There are two employees Worth mentioning. A young Caucasian female with a very long ponytail greeted everyone and kneel down to the child to give them the official greet as well. I absolutely love her energy and the young lady who finally cashed in our tickets. I can tell that they cared about having a job. The girl that helped us at the ticket counter do seem intimidated by the people she works there. The two that I mentioned do not belong at this location. I hope they find better employment soon. My mom use to take me to this location as a child and I wanted to share my experience with mine's. Visit this location at ur own risk. The machines are dirty/sticky and food all over the floor. It's a breeding place for germs. I wanted to leave as soon as I heard about the two hour wait for pizza but I was with a 2yr old who I promise I would take him to chuck e cheese after seeing the commercial multiple times. Showed up 2 cashiers open both helping customers quite slowly one of them thought she was in charge ... wouldn't allow us to stand in line unless we got stamped she was too busy flashing that authority around finally she stamps all the people in line who were confused as to why we need to be stamped if we have not even ordered... after that she stops cashiering leaves the poor teenaged cashier on her own who cannot finalize the transaction if her life depended on it... after about 25 minutes in line trying to order we decide we cannot wait this long -just to order... Of course boss lady with the stamp tries to stop us and check our stamps - but wait we've been in front of you this entire time? She's an idiot... this place lacks leadership, management skills ... not sure if it's franchised, or what the deal is but it's not the first time we've had a bad experience, but it will be my last visit ever. read more

Let me start by saying I have never been so embarrassed in my life. I gave my grandson a birthday party at your Carson California location on 9/30/17. The conditions of this restaurant were awful. 1. We were there from 2:30-7pm and no one ever cleaned the restroom. 2. You had to request that the salad bar be replenished. (it's between the front counter and the ticket exchange.... It's not like they couldn't see it) 3. There was food all over the salad bar, it was too dirty to eat from. 4. They had a full trash can directly behind the salad bar to dump the plates before giving you a clean salad plate. 5. Our food came in phases, one pizza at a time 15 minutes apart and the wings followed an hour later. 6. We had to clean our own tables because there were no table bussers. I addressed my concerns with the onsite manager. I also let her know that I had taken pictures that I would be sending to the corporate office. Opposed to addressing the issue, she became offended and called mall security on me stating that she felt threated by my picture taking . At this point I'm completely baffled that she called security and not the cleaning staff. I returned to the manager to let her know that I felt harassed and perplexed that the areas still had not been cleaned. She then had mall security return to request that I leave. WHAT... Are you kidding me???? When I explained that we would leave once the kids were done playing they called the police to have me escorted out in front of my kids, family, and friends. My kids were confused and upset that this happened. In today's tine this could have had a life changing outcome. I've never had the police called on me. I was not loud or disruptive. This was all because I complained about the poor unsanitary conditions. I spent over $400 to sit in a disgusting restaurant and be put out for asking them to clean. What does this say for the Chuck E Cheese's brand? It's sad that there is no pride taken just because this is a urban location. I shouldn't have to go to Newport beach just to eat from a clean salad bar or use a clean (at least fairly decent) restroom. Games kept shutting down a young lady with and ponytail worker was very helpful with 5 games that completely wouldn't give tickets. The small game that you hit the tiny frogs that definitely wasn't working at all I told a guy was working Asian young man I told him twice about it not giving me Tickets and told him my kid has been playing another parent said yeah he's been playing Here and it just stop giving tickets he checked there was NO TICKETS in the machine he left didn't come back for 26 mins seen him again and said hey my kids are still playing but he wants his tickets he did say sorry and said he will come back but then again didn't see him . My kids get excited when they win things soo I say there and waited for him too come and nothing . So I simply got up and put in the tickets my kids already had . I came to celebrate my daughter's birthday on 9/29/2019 and having spent nearly 200 dollars me and my family got kicked out of the party section 30 mins after still waiting for our food to arrive. To top it off the employee that came to tell us to mention that the manager said we had to pay 60$ if we wanted to sit there, mind you it was about an hour and a half before closing time. I said no thanks, and asked if it was fine to sit in the next to the party section and he said he would ask to make sure but never came back to confirm with us, so we moved to the smaller table that only fits 4 people per table, so we waited over an hour to get our food it's 8:45pm now and our guest and I are almost done eating and the same employee comes to tell us that we had to move to some other table because they were closed but mind you it's 8:45 and I told him that Chuck E. Cheese didn't close until 9 and his response was that his manger told him to tell us that. At this point I was furious. I went to speak to one of the manager I don't know her name but she said that she wasn't the one who had order him to move us that it must of been the other manager name Bertha who supposedly wasn't there anymore which didn't make any sense to me. She also said that the other manager must order that because some of her employees had to leave at 9pm sharp and that they needed that section cleaned before leaving. One of the employee had approach us afterward seeing us complain to the manager and told us that they don't charge to sit by the party section that it's free if it's unoccupied and as I mentioned there was Nobody, besides me and my family right there before we got kicked out from the party section. Plus the party section was already really Dirty!!!! Also, forgot to mention one of the employee who tried to help us got in trouble or fired because once we walked out of Chuck E. Cheese she was crying in the parking lot. Furthermore, they did NOT check any persons stamp once people were walking out of the restaurant. I honestly have to say this was the worst experience I've ever had at Chuck E. Cheese in this particular location mind you I've been to several different locations very poor customer service, tables were dirty for over and hour and children's safety were put at risk during closing hours or at least that what I observed, so who knows how often this location actually checks kids stamps. read more

Disappointed today. I've been a regular customer for years. My mom even worked at the one before they remodeled. Walked in and no one took our order until 20 min later. Took her forever to process order and take our money (we ordered a medium pizza). We upgraded to the new "Triple Peperonni". When we got our food almost an hour later the pepperoni was burnt and the pizza was cold. I told the manager it was burnt and she replied with "Since the peperonni is small it crisps up and it's not burnt" I told her I had tasted it and it was burnt. My nephew wouldn't go near the pizza and he loves peperonni pizza. She offered to make a new one. It was the same pizza just reheated and without the burnt pepperoni and they had taken another hour.
